Norton Place Park sits between Queen St., and Clark Boulevard in Brampton! It is wheelchair accessible with a ramp that leads to the pond with a fenced area viewing point to watch and feed the ducks! They stock the pond with fish and you can see them swimming around the pond! This is a great area with , hiking ,walking and biking trails through out, great scenic views, picnic tables and benches throughout the park! I go here often, and enjoy every visit! A great place to enjoy your day! I have attached a pic of my bike that I ride in the park and a blue bench that you will have access to throughout the park!

Great park for relaxing moments. Couple of bridges which makes it nice for Foto ops. A lake with ducks. Not that clear of a water but it's ok. Has a few picnic tables. Not a lot of crowd which is sometimes good...

This is a beautiful park in your Bramalea neighborhood. You could see jogging, walking and feeding geese as some of the favourite activities in this park. But I would say, this is the best place to be when you want solitude. Walking and sitting somewhere in this park will give you the comfort of meditation and relaxation. Take your kids in the evening and find the beauty of our neighborhood.

The soccer field here is not in very good condition and is an ankle and knee hazard. Lots of potholes and lumps on the field and very easy to lose a ball in all the bushes.

Nice bridge and pretty views . The playground has a climbing feature otherwise it's a small playground. It smells by the water and there is goose poop everywhere. Shade shelter but it would be difficult to enjoy a picnic with the bad smell.

I enjoy walking around the lake, so close to work, great to take a break. There is a nice new platform, picnick area and board walk through the reeds. Lots of ducks in the winter here all huddled in the marsh. Now they are all paired off and nesting somewhere. There used to be a whole colony of geese years back, but I guess they mostly moved on elsewhere. Just a couple raising their goslings this spring.

Nice trail in the middle of the city. I liked the view to the lake (pond). Not many bench where you can rest or take a breath. It has couple of swings, slides, rock climb so it's fun for little ones too.

A gorgeous park, watched by the neighborhood community, in the middle of the city with stunning views of the pond, nice trails, wonderful sunsets and amazing wildlife. Unfortunately, some individuals leave a lot of trash behind in the picnic area and all around the park, which is very sad:( P.A.L. group (People Against Littering) comes sometimes to the park for cleanups, which is very appreciated, but whoever comes to this park for hiking, jogging, fishing, walking, birds watching, etc, remember to keep this park clean. There is a $500 fine for littering and you might be reported, if littering, so please be causious. It's better to dispose trash properly or to take it home;)

Hidden gem in Brampton. Great place to go if you want a low key area to hang out instead of other parks that have higher traffic. Close to Oceans Plaza, BCC and bus terminal for easy access

Great place to get away in the heart of Brampton. Two trail heads start at Community Centre parking lot. The one on the left is a true trail that eventually links up with boardwalk leading back to paved path and the pond. The one on the right is a boardwalk leading to paved pathway. Both have trail cards explaining various plants and critters you'll see. You can circle the pond, but know that the east side trail is not maintained. That being said, it is so well traveled that it's an easy walk. My pics should show you all of the above.

It's finally open again after years of being shut down. There is too much snow on the ground to see what the project accomplished, though. The paths are well maintained and the new LED lighting is very bright.

It's a nice park to visit with a pretty diverse range of wildlife. If you're into bird watching, there are many types of birds you may come across such as: Northern Flicker, Hairy Woodpecker, Black-capped chickadee, Great Crested Flycatcher, Cedar Waxwing, Blue Jay, Northern Cardinal, American Goldfinch, Baltimore Oriole, House Wren,Red Tailed Hawk, and much more. Other than birds, you can find a few ground hogs, and fishes in the lake. The only downside is that a lot of the geese will poop all everywhere, and some dog owners wouldn't pick up after their dogs. The lake also get pretty dirty with trash in it.

UPDATE: the city has done a very good job revitalizing this beautiful park. There's broad walks over the wetland and trails through the forest area. Its a very interesting place now, let's just hope they manage to keep the geese droppings in check as well. Of course all this means there's gonna be a lot more people around specially on the weekends than before. Old review : Park is not maintained the way you'd expect from a place in the middle of the city. Lots of litter around, accesses and vegetation left to their fate. A shame, because the pond is actually nice and super clear water in the summer. Decent fishing, aquatic mammals can be seen occasionally, and usually the geese hang out in crowds waiting for the patrons who freed them frequently. If you go fishing, keep in mind that decent spots are scarce due to both the topography of the pond itself, and the fact that aren't many access to the water free from bushes and trees.

This park was closed for a year for landscaping. There are 2 new bridges and too many picnic tables. There are walkways going in circles and certainly not enough trees replaced compared to what was removed. Not sure as to the reason of this repurpose. It was a nice little park with grassland that didn't need to look like a rentable picnic space. Hmmm?!

A nice place for an evening stroll or to go for some casual family fishing. Plentiful sunfish. Unfortunately too many people don't realize that this small pond can't support people taking home every fish they catch. Highly pressured and most of the bass are gone.

Couldn't find how to get to the park or water... Only saw community centre..if it was a foot path to the right of driveway...those were blocked off and some work guys had their vehicles there??? Anyone can tell me how to actually get to the park and the pond?? Thanks!!

I play soccer here every summer. The field looks nice and green but it is one of the worst soccer fields in Brampton. Ball goes in the bushes,good luck finding it again specially at nights. Last night as soon as we were done our game there was a coyote on the field.

We live near the Lake and we visit almost everyday. It's a bit messy, but we catch fish daily. We catch Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, and Sunfish. Its a good place to go on the weekends.
