As you can see it reaches an feddbacks average is practically the best one, and it is based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may be quite sure that the assessment is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to set feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Park corresponds to the category of Park.
We are really enjoying our new city. Mount Royal is a great park in the summer. We are excited to see what it offers in the winter, as well.
Nice park with lake, viewpoints, kids playground. Great for hanging outvor doing sports (walking, biking, jogging)
We loved our fall walk on this park with our two dogs. A must go for all nature lovers
One of the best parks in Montreal! A mountain, a lake, trees, springs and groundhogs all in one place) Very good trails for hiking, jogging, cycling and skiing in winter. Beautiful in every season! Can be crowded on weekends in good weather, especially the lookout and the ladder to it. Not impressed by the food in the Chalet, though. Oh, and there are cormorants on the lake))
Beautiful park and view point. Perfect for a picnic and walking tour. The view from there is amazing!
Beautiful park and walking trails! Loved the views here~ :)
hot chocolate tasted like powder and water. not worth 6$ parc is amazing though
The Park is a super attraction in the city, a huge green area just a few minutes from downtown. During the spring and summer, when visited, is a quite nice place to play sports, walk around or just rest. The view of Montreal city is definitely gorgeous.
A must go place! Unfortunately the observatory was closed, but the views are amazing. Strongly recommend going there for a walk..
Hiked to this place from the entrance of McGill University. It was so rewarding to finally be able to get the city view on a bright sunny chilly (oxymoron lol) day.
This is a beautiful park, not too much parking though. It has a pond and a nice mountain climb, that leads to the Balcony!! If you want to keep climbing, you then reach La Croix, or the Cross!!
Lovely well maintained trails with hundreds of routes to choose from. Right in the city centre so very accessible. Being the tallest point in Montreal means you get some lovely views too, the lookouts are lovely and I can imagine a sunset / sunrise would be lovely from this location, try to get up there when that's happening!
The top of the mountain has a great view of the Montreal. Definitely recommend. If you are driving here, you can find paid parking very close or drive to the top of the mountain and park for free
Beautiful place to see the city of Montreal. Trails was nice too
Stunningly good views of the city below and an extensive trail system await you at Mount Royal Park. You just always pay for parking regardless where you park, but do yourself a favour and park near the cemetery then walk the 15 minutes higher to a large viewpoint - very lovely. There are washrooms at the large viewpoint as well.
It’s really nice place to go out for the day and great views and great parses
Great park to ride your bike. The riding to the top is a challenge but you don't need to be a pro to make it (you can also drive there). I spent around 3 hours there. You can also bike or hike to see Saint Joseph's Oratory lacated on Mt Royal
Really nice view from the top. A must visit if you're one for outdoors/parks when in Montreal. Some nice trails to hike up to the summit. There's a lake as well, but we didn't have enough time to check it out. Definitely coming back. There is paid parking in various areas. We parked next to the Smith House which was a 5 min walk to the chateau.
It's one of the Best places in montreal... You must visit this place in all the seasons Coz it's special in every season... Marvellous views...???? ????
Beautiful place round the year I mean both summer be winter I have uploaded the pics for both seasons. Really calm and place to come in peace with nature. Love the truck up and view from the top. Has a lot of history to it. It’s definitely a place to unwind and be yourself way from the heavy traffic of Montreal city.
Beautiful park with the most spectacular views of Montreal!! Visit in fall to see the amazing colours ????
Mt. Royal park was truly an adventure with an awesome staircase to the top and a spectacular lookout on the top of the hill. At the top there is a concession coffee shop, wooded trails and a road for walking. Whether you are looking for a great workout walking the stairs or waking for the awesome scenery you will not be disappointed. It makes for a great afternoon or evening outing!
The park is very big and mainly a tourist spot. A lot of people come here with their friends and family, have a barbecue and relax. It's very pleasant and peaceful. You need to walk up the hills a little to reach the place where a small lake is and where you can rest and take pictures.
Beautiful spot. Lots of excellent walking and running areas. Closest washrooms are up the hill, not by Lac aux Castor, but the cleaner ones are by the lake.
Beautiful park with good nature walks. Mostly pretty easy but some paths have a steep incline. We really enjoyed our time and exploring of the area.
Very good park in the middle of the city with big parking space and accessible via public transportation. Best for small to medium hike and end up being at top of the city. Parking charges are way higher than rest of the city.
Went there twice during our 4-day visit to Montreal. Very green, peaceful, good trails for all fitness levels. Great views from the top.
Great location to catch golden hour setting on Montréal! You can either hike the entire way or drive up to the park. I suggest bringing a picnic blanket and some food. Alternatively, you can also use one of the public BBQs but be ready to get there early.
We enjoyed a great hike/walk all around the park, the view of Montreal from the top of Mount Royal is priceless.. We took a break by Beaver lake where you can enjoy a nice picnic. All in all if ever visit Montreal this place should be on your list. I love Montreal:)
Great views of the city. Nice place to take a walk or chill by the lake. Can see quite a lot of wildlife - especially squirrels. Great to be there during the sunset. The only thing is that it’s not trivial to come back to the city from it, some paths were closed.
i love the views from the top of the mountain so can see the beautiful views around in mont royal…
Lots of space for picnic or just hanging out with family. There's numerous trails, tables and benches. Also, a small playground for the kids. The large pond is beautiful and has very large goldfish and ducks! There's also a cool small waterfall feature Beautiful place!
Very nice place for a walk, stroll, hiking or skiing for winter season. The view of the city is amazing. Best place for family photos. I was expecting to have hot chocolate or coffee but the coffee shop in the top was closed for the season. Only one in the parking lot is open.
What an amazing experience. Easy to access the parking lot. You do need to pay fo parking and can pay for a timed amount or fill day pass. Plenty of parking and was not full. Since we were going with a stroller & toddler we stuck to the regular path that were gravel. There were many other trails that came up but with the stroller we didn't want to risk it. The view from the look out was fantastic even with some smog. It was busy, but not overly busy that we couldn't see. We arrived around 11am on a Sunday morning. There was a cafe open during restaurant that was selling drinks and coffee. Not sure what else as we did not go inside. There were washrooms facilities in a trailer type mobile thing. Was nice to not have to use a port a potty on such a hit day. Definitely bring water with you!! Along the trail there were many signs for poison Ivy which was a great reminder since I forgot what it looked like. We did the 6km trail and would like to go back to see the waterfall.
The beautiful landmark of Montreal. Admission is free. I made the mistake of not visiting when I was in this city 10 years ago.
If you love nature, your gonna enjoy this place! Perfect for walking, running jogging, yoga and many more! Always fun place to visit with the stunning view????????
The walking track and the place are just amazing! I can only recommend this beautiful park to all those living our visiting the island of Montréal and mint royal area. Last but definitely not least, the change situated in the top of the hill there. Enjoy your trip and don't miss this great spot ????????
If you enjoy watching the sunrise from a higher altitude this is the best place to go. One can visualize the whole of Montreal city from just one place. The lights during the nights and the sunrise during early morning makes this place a heaven and is the best time to visit this place.
The parking situation was atocious. The line up and wait to pay along with trying to get down the mountain are detractors, but to be fair, it was a fall weekend on Sunday. The views are beautiful and to be in a park on a glorious day is such a treat.
I was born and raised in Montreal. I love to say this line to people…” we have a actual mountain in the middle of our city!” So many different access to get there, memories of bbq at the park with my family. Winter time, going skating in the frozen lake or tobogganing down the hill and getting warmed up at the chalet. Pure beauty. Montreal has a lot of amazing parks, but by far this one is the ultimate.
Amazing place to go for a walk. The landscape in day is a great view and the city lights look equally beautiful from the top during the night.
Amazing view of sunset and sunrise. There are also some trails over here. Make sure to reach early because very hard to find the parking.
Beautiful views. Stair-master workout to the top, but road access is also available for bikes and people on wheels. Parking is free for the first two hours. After that fees for parking rise to $6.00- $10.00. There is parkland for picnicking, cafe dining and washrooms at the top. Enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Montreal.
One of the best lovely natures to experience in Montreal. I just was there in January and it was so cold a young lady inside the building didn't let me to get warm inside because she worshipped covid rules, it was a brutal harsh treatment. Other than that I love this park a lot and happy to go to this park every single time.
A really nice little hike up where you can have a really nice overview of the city. For anyone concerned that it might be difficult there is a short cut route with stairs to make it a bit easier going up there. Alternatively if you have a bike or want to challenge yourself there is a long route as well.
Beautiful park, probably the best city park I've ever been to. We came in the autumn/fall and were delighted at the colours.
Beautiful must visit place for tourists. Pro tip - resist using the portapotties at the parking lot if you can because there are regular washrooms at the top of the lookout that are much more clean and spacious!
If you are in Montréal I would highly recommend going here. It is absolutely wonderful, and if you can I would absolutely advise taking a couple of hours to climb as high as you can as the views are absolutely fantastic, you can see the entirely of the Montréal skyline. It is great to have such a slice of tranquility right in the middle of the city and with COVID it is the perfect attraction with the wide open spaces and air.
Mount Royal Park is beautiful, especially in autumn, when fall foliage fashion week begins. Fresh air, easy to moderate hike up the mountain with many paths to choose from, a 360 degree view of Montreal, there's plenty to see and enjoy. Some construction is underway on and around the mountain, therefore parking spaces are reduced, and there are some detours, but still worth the trip.
Do not miss this place if you're a tourist staying in Montreal for more than 24 hours. The view is worth the hike up Mount Royal (though it is thankfully only a short 10 minute walk from the parking lot) and the place is generally packed with crowds of tourists and locals alike. Bring your own snacks/drinks/blanket and have a nice picnic in the park, or bring your hiking poles or bikes and spend hours getting lost in the view. Would definitely return the next time I'm in town.
