You know that we don't usually stop to put tatings when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Park is classified in the category of Water park.
Not their fault but 20cad for 2h parking in a weekday is ridiculous. If you don't mind that or live in the city and know where to park cheap, great attraction for the family.
Very rude lifeguards and no support at all by them. Not recommended.
This activity is tons of fun (sort of) for the whole family... You gotta be in shape for this. It's not built to be fluffy friendly. Chaperones are needed for kids under 9. They are free. If kids are 9 or older, parents have to pay same price. It's cheaper after 5 and closes at 8ish. Super fun for the kids!
Not bad. Small to mid size for what it is. Price is a little high considering similar activities are bigger at a lower cost. It could be more user friendly. Impossible to book unless it's days in advance. No purchasing at location. Makes it inconvenient considering it's on the beach in Barrie.
Kids had a fantastic time. As parents you will either be very into it (depending on your fitness level), or you will be struggling to balance and will keep falling into the water the whole time (like us ????).
The kids had so much fun, great activity!! Usually sells out so I recommend buying your passes ahead of time to avoid disappointment
Pure Fun!! Highly recommended
If you love being swamped by a 100 of nose-runny, spitting-on-everything kids while they are sliding into you, go for it! If they reduced the amount of people going on the float island, it would have a better opportunity to actually be fun, as youd have ROOM to do all the stuff. I felt like i was in the ball pit at fantasy fair, crowded and overwhelming, especially coming out of covid! I felt unsafe, as almost stepping on a child every step i tried to take would feel. If they reduced number of people, and maybe added an age range for each interval, this business would be so much more successful. Great idea, poor execution. I would love to go again, if only i could exclusively book the island for my friends and I! I think they should also consider that as an option.
It’s really good so much fun
Lots of fun. 25$ is reasonable for the fee. Though can get pricy for a family. The staff is courteous. Lots of staff on land and on the water structure. The location is grest. Nestled right at the beach with easy access to both parking ($3/hr), washrooms and food stands. There are also some stores just across the street which is easy access. Today they even had paddle board rentals and kayak rentals just beside it. If you don't like the beach, there's grass just in the other side of the boardwalk. There's even some playgrounds nearby. Overall, a fun day at the beach with lots of options.
Went here with my best friend this past weekend and it was so much fun! Even though it’s mainly kids and family I’d definitely suggest going with friends. Everyone is having so much fun and is in a good mood you’ll have no problem getting around the track and making lots of laughs and memories along the way. Next time we visit we’re definitely bringing our families since this is the perfect place to post up for the afternoon to have a picnic and play on the beach.
Great facilities, well organized. Thank you for a fun day.
Amazing place and fun!
Great place to have a fun time not just for kids but ADULTS too. We were a team of 10 adults and we had a wonderful 2 hours, that too at an affordable price appx $20 per person. We the booked the tickets online and was able to choose from the timeslots given. P.S: Even though life jackets are compulsory, having basic swimming knowledge would be helpful.
it was fun but very crowded. we are required to buy the tickets on line and reserved a time slot. Some big kids didn't lineup and there was no attendant to help. it was really fun for kids. Life jackets was given and mandatory. The water was deep.Definitely we will go back again.
Very great place, if your in Barrie for any of the other attractions be sure to make a stop at barrie splash on water park. It’s a phenomenal facility with exceptional staff, great management, and amazing owners. They’re welcoming and helpful, there’s lifeguards on the park who are always willing to help out with a smile, the park is great for children and adults of all ages it’s physically enduring but also fun and enjoyable for kids 5 and up. Definitely worth the visit!
It's fun and exciting.
Our family loved it. We went in energetic. Came out tired. :-)
My kids loved it, I found it exhausting but great. Would recommend one adult per kid if possible.
We had a great experience. Surprised reading some of the comments about staff being rude. The day we were there the operations were pretty smooth. They gave us the right fitting life jackets and reminded my girls to remove their necklaces. My girls are 8 & 11 both loved it and didn't want to leave.
Save yourself the pain and money do not sign the waiver. Do not use this attraction or let you kids. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. It is very easy to injure yourself on this attraction because it is such a slippery surface. I injured myself at this park and was off work for a month costing me $10,000. Hardly worth it for $25. According to the owner they have only ever had one serious injury which I find hard to believe. Here are two quotes directly from their own legal document " I relinquished their right to sue in the case of injury or death due to an honest mistake or outright negligence by the company or its employees" and "I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Splash On Water Parks Ltd., from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action which are in any way connected with my participation in this activity or my use of Splash On Water Park’s equipment, or facilities, including any such claims which includes negligent acts or omission of Splash On Water Parks Ltd." So basically we accept no responsibility for our rides even if we are at fault which needs to be repeated twice. No lawyer will help you there is nothing you can do. I strongly recommend avoiding this park to avoid serious injury to your children or unpaid time off work. Update: Total lost wages to date $10,000 and loss of employment due to my new disability. ???? also permanent lifelong for injury now.
It’s really an adventurous place. We had a great fun. It seems small and for kids only but trust me, It’s not. I will visit again. Moreover, ticket price is fair as well.
Lots of fun for any age 6-60!, price is very reasonable and ideal for the summer
Kids 9 & 11 had a great time. Would love to go back. Well organized and good amount of time.
Amazing stuff. Worth of money. Beautiful exprience
My entire family of all ages enjoyed this experience. Will definitely do again and recommend.
Water is 10 METRES deep, so do not waste your money unless you can swim that deep. No life saving service if someone accidently drowns. FYI people can drown even if they are wearing life jackets. They have said NO to jumping or swimming into the water from the park. This activity is totally Useless!!! This should have been setup near the shore, the park is way far from beach and these crazy people don't even have any kayak or boat kind of service to the park.
Great place to have fun in summer. Need bookings in advance. I would recommend the first slot for bookings as after that there is no parking available nearby. Must go with a group of friends or family.
Good value for the money. It’s a nice place for a family getaway. The water park is large enough for about 140 people. Some parts of the park is actually quite challenging but it’s fun!
Super fun I went there and had a blast with my friend!
My daugther had a blast - lots to keep her busy for the entire length of time
If you don't like falling on water slippery surface of inflatables then wear your watersport shoes. And four because of cold lake water unrelated to splashOn
The experience was fun for us. Over our time there, my wife counted 3 injuries being boated off the structure. I can see how this can happen. It gets very slippery - some grips on the equipment would help immensely. When we were there, it was ridiculously crowded. This made it feel all the more unsafe and quite limits the amount of fun possible. While I'm sure they are complying with health and safety regs, I suppose we're officially done with covid? Use the attraction at your own risk, and keep a VERY close eye on your kids. Probably should be limited to 10+, and below 40 (due to risk of injury). You'll likely have fun (but could acquire a moderate-severe injury, for which there is no recourse due to an iron clad waiver). Staff were helpful and friendly. The injury boat seemed prompt and attentive, so if you do get injured, there's that. Another tip - 2 hours in such cold water can leave your lips feeling a bit blue. Bring plenty of dry towels. Also, for adults, average to above average physical fitness required. Overall, we had a good time. It did feel dangerous at times, so be prepared for this.
Had a great time. Easy access, relatively warm. Most people were well behaved. The fact that as an adult, I didn't have to pay to accompany my daughter was a major bonus.
My son (9) and his friend went and they loved it. They spent their whole allotted time on the park. Perfect location as we used the beach and the park after.
Was a blast! My daughter love it and I feel like a kid again!! So much fun!!
An awesome day of fun. A great workout for the adults
Very nice, well organized, safe, beautiful place to go to. My kids loved it so much. I found the Parking was little bit too much but this is not their fault. I would definitely take the kids back again and I highly recommended for fun.
We took three kids today ages 10,9 &7 they all had a blast! The only complaint I have that is not splashon's fault but the city of Barrie is the washroom was disgusting. Just make sure you wear your swim suit.
I had a blast going to this floating obstacle course. I’m 27 and felt a little old compared to the average person there (12), but it was a fun workout to do on a hot summer day. Unfortunately we got a slightly chillier day but it was still great. The life jackets are really helpful for ppl like me who are poor swimmers. Great way to test your balance and work your core!
Very fun but OVER crowded. Too much cutting in lines. Won't return unless capacity is cut in half.
It’s so much fun !!!! You fall, you slip, you jump, you roll and most importantly you have fun. It looks much easier than it is but get ready to slip not just but several times into the water. If you know how to swim, it really helps. If you don’t know swimming at all then just think twice before going. Do reserve your slot before going as it’s always busy.
It's good for kids.
Enjoyed but Sad ! Nice place to visit and have fun with family. Unfortunately, I lost my new GoPro. I hope Splash On team help me out to find it.
Great place to enjoy.
Had a great time! If you’re scared, don’t worry, I have no idea how to swim but you get to wear life jackets, so if you slip into the water, you’re perfectly safe. I recommend people of any age to come here, it’s a fun way to get some exercise!
This was an amazing experience! Upon first glance the course looks like it will be a quick go through but after the first obstacle, it is clear that the whole course will actually take 2 hours. It was a great time for us four adult females. We loved every moment and will be doing this annually. Thank you for such a great bonding activity!
This water obstacle was very fun but there were a few downfalls. Since the area is near downtown Barrie it can get very busy around the streets and parking is extremely limited. The beach is fairly small so places to stay on grassy areas were very few and packed. We spent most of the day playing on the beach and in the water because the water park was full of little kids and seemed very crowded so we waited until 6 pm to go on so there would be fewer kids. From 5-8pm it’s only $15 too. Even though we had just 2 hours to play, it was amazing. Very slippery but very fun. They provide life jackets and lifeguards are close around to help. Definitely coming back next summer.
It was too busy which made it unpleasant. Everyone was so close together which didn’t seem very safe, and there were a ton of rude kids who were shoving. I wouldn’t recommend going.
I drove 6 boys for 1hour and 10 minutes today to get to the water park for my son's Bday only to be told that the our time slots were cancelled due to high wind. The cancellation email was sent at 12:20 while we got there right around that time as told (45 minutes prior to the start time of 1pm). No prior call was placed to warn us that it may be cancelled. They just said they couldn't control it and they will offer a refund. what about hte 1 hour drive there and 1 hour drive back? If they anticipate weather could be an issue, they could call the customers earlier and ask them if they'd like to cancel/withdraw. I think they waited last minute to see if weather corporates so to avoid having to offer the refund. And park doesn't look as big as on the picture and there is no signage - just two trucks with the equipments and a booth for tickets. doesn't look like a formal operation. Not recommended~~~~
The children had a fabulous time. Check in was easy and organized
I think that the park itself is good. The structure has lots of different options and elements. However, when I visited, it was seriously overcrowded. Covid aside, I witnessed countless people fall on top of other people. There were cases where one person, while attempting to climb a structure, slid down, taking out several other people below them and forming a human pile at the base. My visit was on a weekday, so I can not imagine what it would be like on a weekend. The lifeguards try, but there's just so many people that there's not much they can do.
This place is amazing, not only kids but also for adults. Ww had lots of fun. Not recommend to bring phone even with the water proof phone bag. I lost my phone and Can’t swim under coz the water is freezing. The washroom in this place was disgusting so so dirty, need to keep my pee til I get home. Please let the management know about this. Washroom is the most important for us as a park goer. Thank you.
Wow what a great water park! So much fun for my teenage kids and so many different obstacles. It was a cold, windy day when we were there so the whole water park was constantly moving making it super challenging. We will come back again for sure.
Had an amazing time with my family here. Staff are organized and helpful. Clean and well maintained place
What a great way to spend a warm summer day! $25 per person to enjoy the attraction. Its a workout and a half though. You should be in good physical shape to enjoy this floating water trampoline and obstacle course. Great place to bring the kids with a full beach, and midway in August.
Awesome Place to Visit with kids ..lots of Fun for kids and Adults...can't be wrong. .worth going there .
Very very packed, was hard to figure out the website YOU MUST BOOK AHEAD OF TIME.... Wasn't clear on the website. Staff were rude, place wasn't disinfected between waves of people. It was so packed you pretty much have to wait in line on the actual inflatable park for each station. Not much social distancing. Other then that it was a neat little course. My little sister was pretty dissapointed, with how many people where there for the cost and time frame you have. THE ORILLIA LOCATION BEFORE COVID WAS AMAZING. BEST STAFF EVER. SUPER AWESOME.
Very unique and fun experience. Well organized. Kids had a blast. Maybe there could be a separate area for the younger kids?
It’s so much fun, not just for kids but for all ages!!!! You will fall, slip, jump, roll and most importantly you’ll have fun. It looks much easier than it is but get ready to slip not just but several times into the water. Basic swimming is needed, if you don’t know how to swim might be a little difficult.
My son and I had a blast
I would not recommend for younger kids, the water park is physically challenging. My son is almost 9 and spent hours playing. He had the best time!
This was fun and the pricing is much better now at $20 for 2 hour time blocks. That is a perfect length of time to enjoy it. There was a bit of a delay to get in, but overall the experience was good.
BOOTIFUL
Not at all safe for people with dislocation of shoulders.
I definitely had a lot of fun going with my sister! The obstacles are all unique, requiring balance, speed, and a bit of upper body strength depending on the obstacle. I found that it was worth the cost. We actually weren’t able to stay on for the full 2 hours because after an hour and a half, we were exhausted! Obviously we fell off a lot but that’s to be expected when on water. We found that the staff were friendly and helpful too. We didn’t enjoy the amount of people on the course. There were many line ups and massive groups of people (friends) who were in the way in certain areas. It would have been nice to be able to only have 1 or 2 people in front of an obstacle instead of a massive group you’d have to weave your way through, or in some cases, wait for everyone to go. I also didn’t appreciate the inconsiderate kids who would push by, not giving a second thought to the other people around them.
Very inexpensive and fun place for the kids and adults if you are into a good challenge. Only disappointment was that we didn’t know that there was an hour wait between each group that enters the water challenge. Lovely little beach with a bar and evening live band entertainment but you have to do two entrees. One for the day…leave at 6pm and join the line pay and enter again for evening fun.
Way too many people let in at the same time, made it very difficult for my children to safely play on the structure without being constantly toppled on by bigger kids and adults. My five year old cried the entire time because she was so scared, unfortunately won't be going back.
Hi there! They canceled our reservation once we already got to the place because of wind. But take in we drove a whole hour to hear the news. And my genuine question is dont they plan ahead. You know it is located at the beach so it makes sense that there would be wind and waves so no need to cancel. Not to mention they’re not giving us another day to come because they’re fully booked till the end of summer but that’s not my problem figure out a way to extend it bc I fairly booked and have priority over the people that booked after me. The staff is iffffyyy and don’t even try to accommodate us.
It was a great time! We will definitely be going back!!
Amazing day with the kids! My 8 year old loved it as much as my 18 year old. Highly recommended!
This water park for adults and kids, I think I enjoyed more than my kids! I liked the registration, although it was crowded but finished quickly. Unfortunately, I dropped my phone which has all my memories. I called them and they will try to find it while removing the park for end of season.
4 life guards on duty (and not many people on the course) not a single one could rescue a boy who had hypothermia and passed out in the water. Make sure you can save your own kids when you come here
I don’t know why there isn’t more reviews on this. Originally went just for a place to take my 6 year old niece, hopes weren’t too high. This place exceeded my expectations, not only are the prices reasonable, it’s tons of fun, doesn’t get boring, my niece had a great time. It’s a very safe environment, there is staff around on site, but it’s not overly strict as long as you are being safe, not to mention staff is also very friendly. I will be returning, it was well worth the ride from Toronto. Really good place to get out of the house and do something physical, especially for your kids, attracts a great crowd, even with lots of people around, it’s set up in a way that it doesn’t get crowded or annoying. I would recommend for every family, or even just for people or friends looking to do something different or fun.
It was wonderful, but if you don’t know how to swim, you will still enjoy it but with a bit of fear. Definitely recommended.
Although the water were ice cold ????, our kids had a great time. It was a pleasure watching them enjoying! We will definitely go back again!!
We went there with our 2 kids aged 6 and 8 along with 2 families and their kids. It was an amazing experience. Even if you dnt know swimming (as some of us were non swimmers) you have the life jackets. Just dnt panic when you fall in water, if you are a non swimmer. The hurdles were so much fun. All our kids(including our friends kids too)aged 8,9 and 10 were on their own and were enjoying to full. My 6 year old though needed much attention. It was hard for her to climb up and cross the hurdles as it needed strength. So one elder had to be with her helping her throughout and also pulling up from water. Even for elders, pulling themselves up from water was bit hard and we all had bruises because of that. One thing I would recommend is to wait for ur turn when someone is climbing up or be on the other side. My son aged 8 was behind an adult to climb and the adult slipped and fell on my son. My son was hurt but was okay after sometime. It was so.much fun, beyond our expectations. The 2 hours passed so quickly. We all feel to come back again for such an amazing experience.
Fun. If it's sold out it's way too crowded. Suggest lowering the max capacity
One star is generous. Our original timeslot from 6-8 was canceled due to bad weather earlier in the day. Even though the weather had cleared up beautifully for our scheduled time, they had already packed everything up and closed for the day. They don't give refunds and instead of giving me a voucher to use for our rebooking I was told to email them to select a new date. We were in the area this week and were looking to rebook our time. But after sending multiple emails no one ever responded to me. I tried calling numerous times but no one ever picked up. Could not even leave a message because their voice mailbox was full. This place is poorly run and doesn't care at all about their customers.
So fun for the whole family, adults and kids alike! It's like a taste of the show Wipe Out. It can get pretty busy as everyone in your time slot goes on at the same time but people move through it somewhat quickly. 2 hours was a perfect amount of time because by the end you're able to have gone through the space about 2x. You'll be tired but happy at the end of it. And afterwards you can continue spending time at the beach!
They cancelled our reservation 20 minutes before our booking through email after we drove 2 hours due to higher winds. Started relaxing on beach and the staff started jumping around and playing on it. Very nice
Amazing experience. Best for kids 7+. You guys need to have a photographer running around taking photos.
Do you need to know swimming or not? How deep is the water here?
I was not impressed with first impressions of the staff at the sign in desk. Gentleman was very rude and made us feel that we had inconvenienced him. The actual event is nice and great for kids but WAY TOO crowded. Couldn’t even move once we got on the jungle gym.
Great experience. Was a bit busy for my liking.
We had an amazing time!! Definitely doing this again.
Be warn! My kids had a great time there - but my kids and other family members fell sick . No covid but the flu . There are no distancing and it’s a big gong show . It’s a pool for the getting sick
Was amazing, staff were great and the kids loved it. 100% will be going again
Awesome! I thought it would be weird going with some friends but it's really something all ages can enjoy. Definitely worth the money.
Great place. The only concern is safety when it gets crowded. Teenagers run and push people around to the point that my kids and I had to leave. There are no any rules given on the admissions, so lifeguards don't say anything to those people. Would not recommend going in busy hours. It was very nice in the morning up untill 1:30-2pm during the week. Parking on meter $3 an hour. The lake water temperature is very refreshing 23°C
The kids enjoy here.
Easy to book online and clear instructions before getting there and once you were there. The staff were very friendly and knew what they were doing. The Kayak was a 2 seater and we had a paddle lesson and off we went. We had a great time! Highly recommended.
Such a fun day! 2 hours was the perfect amount of time.
So much fun. Great staff, very organized.
Super fun for the kids. We went at 5 pm so it wasn't as busy which was better then previous years. The only problem was many of the people were a bit aggressive . It would be cool if you could do different times for different ages so the littles can have fun without the big kids or adults
We visited Splash ON Water Parks three times this year. Mt 11 year old son and his three friends had a wonderful time! This was for sure one of the best memories from the Summer of 2021. The team is very professional, everything works smoothly. Thank you.
The registration was organized and properly supervised. The course is challenging and fun for all ages. Our group aged in ranges from 19-50 and we had a blast. Highly recommend it! Pack some lawn chairs and a picnic for afterwards.
Very fun and organized
We’ve been enjoying the park since opening, nonstop fun, really for all ages. its a great activity added to our waterfront!! Love it. Staff are wonderful, kind & friendly. I must say as a parent I like it much better now with limited numbers of swimmers, feels safer. Just harder to get tickets!! I wish they play their music @ all times! thank you guys for another great summer ! Cheers ☀️????
The water park itself looks very fun however our session was cancelled due to wind conditions. This was very disappointing since we drove in from Toronto for this activity. We were not provided any notice via email and they actually cancelled it when the kids were already in the water waiting to get on and had already paid $30 to park. They did refund the session but parking was non refundable and there is not much else to do in the area. If you live nearby I guess it is a fine activity but do not travel to do this it’s not worth having disappointed children and no other options.
