One of the most beautiful spots to go for a walk. Nice long water front trail/boardwalk that goes around all of kempenfelt Bay. Splash pad for kids. Washrooms. Basket ball court and boat launch. Very nice. Stroller friendly also. Always go for family walks here. Must visit.

Beautiful waterfront, kids have fun on splash pad. Down side is there's often too many druggies just wandering around, suspiciously watching the kids play.

Amazing Job - Town of Barrie! The ice rink, surrounding lights and the whole ambience is breath taking! Such attention to detail and so much of festive cheer. Very well spaced out and such a joyful experience. I recommend you all to definitely go check it out this Holidays!

Great walking path along the lake. Small picturesque bridge adds a lovely touch if you are looking for a photo op - it’s a popular location for photographers. Plenty of benches to sit and take in the views. Close proximity to downtown with shops, restaurants and cafes only minutes away. Ample parking available.

Its a nice area to just stroll around taking in the surroundings and enjoying a breathtaking view of kempenfelt bay. On wednesdays in the summer you can enjoy an evening at the thunder classics car show

Not so much a splash pad but a dystopian nightmare where kids need to enjoy the water 30 seconds at a time every 5 minutes.

Great walking path along the lake. It takes you to Centennial Park. Parking is cheaper here. $1/hr

The downtown is absolutely beautiful. The city spends a lot to ensure its green and in bloom. Would be nice to see some regulation in place as to what's allowed on the beach. Tents and shelters can go on the grass allowing more room in the sand. Parking fees should be increased to help pay for clean up and maintainence.
