Had the privilege of getting married in front of this lovely peak on the first of January. It is just as lovely to see in the late summer early fall but I have to say that it was magical seeing it in winter. Cannot wait to return!

Such a great location for a wedding ceremony. We chose TMR for our fall wedding. Although VERY cold, it was perfect! Beautiful views but still close to the road/ parking for guests with mobility issues or disabilities. Majority of the event rental companies in Banff can delivery and pickup from here as well. Be sure to rent for private event through Banff.

Our violin and cello duo has performed pop and classical music for wedding ceremonies at Tunnel Mountain Reservoir since 2014 and it is always beautiful, providing that the weather cooperates.

Gray River Tarot & Healing

This is an excellent and understated hiking destination. Open field next to road where you can park. Open field has breath taking views of Banff and also a park bench. Hiking down below on the reservoir. Also, for mountain bikers there is an extensive network of advanced trails, entrance starting on far end of field. Quiet compared to popular look-off on Tunnel Mountain rd on the other end of mountain. Branches are well kept on trails biking trails.

So it's a nice view towards Canmore, worth shooting a photo and taking it in for a bit. Only a third of the distance compared to top of tunnel mountain. Good place for sledding.

The views from here are spectacular. Careful it can be soggy ground and covered in deer droppings. That probably means it's a good spot for deer watching too.

We got married there this weekend and the space was absolutely beautiful and made for amazing photos. The contract does state that we accept the space "as is, where is", but we were disappointed at the amount of animal poop I had to drag my dress through. Especially when you're charging $250 an hour to rent the space. Something to be aware of if you are having a wedding there.
