Dog friendly (with leash of course), awesome slides that are good for all sizes. I have gone on the big orange slide several times and it's always a fun time. There's a water park, skate pare, basketball court that turns into a skating rink and this park hosts a farmer's market. Only 4/5 because it is currently under construction. This is the best park in the area

Nice park to visit over a lunch hour and a very interesting tribute memorial is about the same thing. Mary 'Bonnie' Baker used to come to this park when she worked downtown and the engraved marble cenotaph and information plaques are interesting to read about.

The renovations to the playground are top-notch; some of the new stuff might require some maintenance over the upcoming years to keep it looking fresh, but right now it's awesome. The spray park is lovely and well-kept, and the park as a whole is truly beautiful with wide spaces and towering canopy trees (elms, maples, whatever). There're even frisbee-golf goals. When the weather is nice, this is an excellent park for kids of all ages. Even adults who still behave like kids ;). Kudos to the designers and crews who put it all together.

I really love it here! I come to thing in the evening most days. The labyrinth is well constructed and long enough without being too long. It is a concrete pad with a path on it. It’s made for meditation and unfortunately not a maze. Good amenities near by and a timmies across the road for all the parents watching the kids play soccer in the rain. You can access the library side and where the baseball diamonds are. Parking is on Guelph line at the back of the youth center.

A wonderful spot to slow down and reflect. This 11-circuit unicursal (only one path - no getting lost!) labyrinth is a near-scale replica of the famous 13th century one built into the floor stones of Chartres Cathedral in France.

Water park is not what it used to be.Even when its hot out its really chilly because the tree canopy is so heavy the warmth of the sun cant get through.This also encourages moskitos and natts to grow and bite.I left after 10min cold and bitten.Still has its SE hill charm though just dress app. and use bug spray.

Nice park. I came for the public disc golf course, and it is well laid out and fairly easy to follow. Lots of very mature trees for shade as well as a playground, water park and a large area for family picnics. The park is very well manicured and the grass is very green.

A much much smaller version of the NYC central park, it still has its own charm. The Banff version however, is very clean and trimmed well. You can relax on a bench, sit on the grass or even hang out by the river. There's also a public washroom nearby if you have to access any facilities.

Absolutely beautiful here. Fiancé and I played frisbee in the grass. Odd pile of elk poo but didn't bother us. There's a market really close by in Saturdays!

This is a great Recreational Park, that includes a water park, a playground, disc golf course, basketball court and a picnic area. There is also a 3 season washroom. In the winter there is a temporary ice rink.
