Adorable little off leash park, very well fenced. Just a few dogs that may not be ideal dog park dogs there so of.you have a pup, sensitive or shy dog just a good idea to have a look who is in the park first. That is always a good idea I reckon, but definitely here.

That was so perfect during the heat wave to have a place with trees and shade for the dogs. That was too hot in the campground and in town but in that park I was able to let my doggies roam a bit without the fear to burn their paws. I really appreciated and I'm sure my 2 doggies too! Thanks!!

Love the dog park but the locals that come here are completely trash humans. Their dogs are so badly behaved. I came with my family and my 2 dogs and we had this one big dog who kept ramming his face into the back of our legs we told him multiple times no and he would not listen his owner also was no were to be found. After about 10 mins his owner finally showed up and we politely asked him to watch his dog and instead of saying sorry he swore at us and told us to leave the dog park if we couldn't handle it. This old lady also chimed in and said its a dog park and that dogs will do that. We understand its a dog park but that does not give you the right not to monitor your poorly behaved dog. I had 2 dogs with me who were well behaved and obeyed commands unlike there dogs.

We brought our dogs here for a run while staying in town. The park is kept pretty clean, and there are poop bags available for those who forgot to bring some with them. It’s great having the trees all through the park, rather than just one big clear-cut area (like you see at the off leash park in Jasper). We wished it was a little bigger, but it was still a reasonable size.

Great little dog park forest. It is totally gated so if you need to exercise your dog, they won't be eaten by wildlife. It gave our dogs a chance to run and explore off leash on our vacation.

No water, no free space to throw frisbee or balls; probably designed by a non-dog owner as it is not really designed for dogs in the slightest. What also didn't help was that, it was locked up and was closed during 'open' hours. Typical behaviour from a very anti-dog town.

Great off-leash area as long as you keep an eye on your dog around the minor trash in the area. It was likely blown in from outside. Otherwise a fantastic place to take your dog while here. Make sure to bring some water to share!

I had no idea this park was here, until I searched for it on Maps. It's a bit out of the way, but it's a glorious space! Fully fenced with plenty of tree cover, and loads of room to run around and explore. My dog absolutely loved it there, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

It was a great walk while travelling with dogs. My big boy did several laps, loved the trees for shade. We almost missed it because there is construction site right next to it. It's only when we turned around that we saw it, and glad we did!

The Banff off leash park is a fenced in park in the trees. It’s good to get pooch out for a run. However, the area is a bit small and can be muddy if it rains. Good for dogs that need to be fenced in but not ideal for those that want to wander in a grass field.

Great place to bring your dogs to key loose and enjoy. Very will maintained and even had park staff come in to refill the poop bags. Lots of nice people and very secure area. My dog loved it here. So if you bring your dog with you to Banff, highly recommend checking the park out.

It is ok. When they brush cut the area they left stumps of 3-4 inches (7-10 cm) that feels like pungisticks. Dog waste bags are offered at entrance and far end and a bin at the entrance.

Best dog park I have ever gone with my two dogs. Two acres of fully wooded space and tons of room to run and explore. A great find while on vacation. I only wish all dog parks were like this one!

If you are looking for a nice quick little spot to take the dog when coming into town I'd recommend. Not a big stop by any means but definitely alleviated my dogs restless legs after the drive from Red Deer.

It's nice that Banff has an off leash area for dogs to finally be off leash but it is a little small. They provide water for the dogs which was really nice on a hot day

Be aware the train tracks are right beside this in case your dog is afraid of loud noises. Other than that, yes, it is very small but it's a nice option to have in Banff for your dog to stretch their legs and run.

We love this fully-fenced off-leash area in the industrial part of Banff. It's recently been moved over and it's now a bit smaller, but there's lots of opportunity for dogs to run and jump and play through the small wooded opportunity. A new bus barn has been built on one side so the whole park was "pushed" towards the RV sewer dump. We will have to see how it all works out in the summer with the sounds and smells of those nearby places.

Nice little park to take the dogs for an off leash run (seeing as they must be on leash at all time in the National Park). Locals are very friendly, there are lots of logs and trees for the dogs to jump on and chase around. I bit smaller than it used to be but still a great, quiet spot on the edge of town.

Nice dog park up in the mountain, on point rule posted but bit too much, there should be liniency for puppies to learn social interaction with all ages of dogs. Also, not agreeing to see very young kids who just learning to walk be on a dog park with parents on their phones. Maybe next time we will go in when possible. However, its beautiful! Very Banff though its bit small. ????

Great dog park to stop at while driving through. We have been to this dog park multiple times and it is a good size for a full grown dog to run around in. It isn't huge, but it is more than big enough, and fully fenced so you have no worries. It has easy access of the highway.

A very safe place to take a dog as it's fully fenced. The location is far from downtown, but fine if you have a vehicle.

Loved it. I went mid day and it wasn't very busy so I was able to park right by the entry gate. It's completely fenced in which is nice. It's not the largest area but it's easy enough to take multiple routes through the trees to keep it interesting.

I love this dog park! Every time I’m in Banff I take my pup here. It’s fully fenced so you know your dog is safe. There is plenty of room for exploring and even a place to throw the chuck it to run your fur friend. There are also benches if you want to take a load off and plenty of garbages to dispose of your dogs business. It’s also very clean you can tell it is very well kept. Will definitely be back :)
