What's not to Luv & in the summer you can rent paddle boats & canoes & they even have a kayak for those with handy caps. in addition, in the summer, there is an outdoor snack bar & seating area & inside is a year round restaurant that has food to die for to have lunch at, not to mention the ambience / decore is so cozy / quaint!...

We have a great raised bed in this park,and it's working well for us. I can say that this park offers a great river side trail and the park has great picnicking facilities plus a children's play ground !with a great setting location in the city of Bancroft ! ENJOY....!

Lunch at the Waffle and Daub was perfect. The chicken noodle soup was delicious, the service and the atmosphere are superb. My favourite place to enjoy a meal and conversation with friends

The others who ate with me were happy with their sandwiches, but I felt that the cost of a very plain grilled cheese sandwich was excessive.

We stopped here for a picnic lunch on a road trip. It was a great spot with clean, shaded picnic tables and public washrooms that were clean and well-ventilated. It is a beautiful park with a stream running through it. There is a playground and skate park. Our only complaint is that the playground had become too hot from the sun by noon. It was admittedly a very hot day.

I really liked this park -we stopped in on a drive through. It has a decent play structure (mulch ground cover), picnic tables, bathrooms, swings, skate park, access to a small River, and a canteen. Very pretty and decent shade. We were there in the evening so the businesses were closed. Worth the short walk from downtown to have your picnic here. Parking doesn't appear to be an issue -- note that there is the local museum adjacent that shares the parking. Park is not fenced in so keep a watch especially due to the water access.

Beautiful morning to spend at the park. Multi-age climbing structure, big and little swings. Right beside the Riverside trail.

Good facilities (public washrooms and restaurant) with a nice little dock to rent a canoe/kayak or feed the fish. Rentals aren't too expensive. 15$ for one hour, 25 for 4h and 30$ for the whole day. Skateboard/scooter park. Play structure is adequate but in full sun for most of the day. Slides are too hot to use unless it's fully overcast. City planners would be wise to plant some to solve this in the future.

Stopped to have our picnic here. It was beautiful. Great area. Nice dock to watch the river/beach area, good playground, skate park, and gardens. Little cafe with outdoor dining area there too but it wasn't open when we were there. We will be back :)

Nice boat launch for small boats and kayaks. Lots of parking available. Water was warm and enjoyable to swim in.
