Great place if you like banjo music and the movie "Deliverance". Went to visit friends who had rented a site for the long weekend and was surprised by the "rule for outsiders" attitude. If your not a local your not welcomed. Wouldent waste your time or money

One of the best managed, cared for campgrounds you'll find. Been seasonal guests since 2005 and this lovely location never fails to offer an enjoyable, peaceful getaway, with plenty of amenities in and around the park. It's a respectful, family friendly environment and those who come must know the expectation is reciprocal.

I used to live like 10 minutes away from the park. Back in the 70s and 80s it was the place to be with all the trees and beach. Fast forward 30 years it looks different . They cut down half of the trees,and now looks less like a park and more like a commercial area. The Owners should learn more about nature and less about money

Excellent Campground with an emphasis on FAMILY!!! Lots of activities for the kids, Multiple washroom facilities, very clean, showers and even coin laundry! Payphone available on campground, all the amenities you could ever want! Mike and Sheila are awesome hosts as well, never too busy to help.

This campground is well equipped and maintained, on a little lake to Bancroft. The best thing is the love and caring that the owner put into making this place a success. Our little family had a great time!

Friendly owners. Small but good beach. Two playgrounds. Water, 30 amp electrical and sewer hookup. Close to Bancroft. Clean grounds. Very reasonable price. Very good wifi.

Mike and Sheila rock! Great for kids and adults, most of the time the campers are very respectful of each other. Sites are spacious and private.

Super friendly owners, very helpful when you’re in need, like us as we had just purchased our fifth wheel and this was only our second stop on our travels back home from purchasing our trailer. They gave some advice and helped me set up. Ended up having a flat tire when we traveled from our last place and the owner pumped up the tire for me and told me where to go for getting the tire fixed, (2 minutes around the corner from the park) If we come back through this area we will surely be visiting again! Our two young kids made lots of friends and loved the play ground and the water slide and just playing on the small beach. Thanks for the welcoming visit!

I haven’t even reached the campground yet and I already give it 5 ++++ for the fantastic customer service I have had. They have bent backwards to make sure me and my family will stay there comfortable for the long weekend and I was last minute. I know it can only get better and can’t wait to spend the weekend at this camp ground!! Thank you so much for everything!

We placed our trailer here for the season and so far loving it. Everyone is so friendly and the park owners are fantastic. Events every weekend for the family and crafts everyday for the kids. Really can't say enough good things about it other then I think we will be here for many years to come

This is my family's second year here and we love it!!!! Hopefully in the next year we'll have a trailer here. Mike and Sheila are the most kindness, respectful people I have ever met. Bancroft Tent and Trailer is hands down one of the best campgrounds in Ontario. Owners are kind, thoughtful, and care about their campers. More than reasonable rates and gorgeous lake. Tons of entertaining events for the entire family, too!

Nice place , the lake is more like a pond and wi-fi is impossible to get on to . Dont advertise wi-fi if it is not available.

A special thank you to Sheila! When we arrived The hospitality over and beyond honestly she is a true Canadian! Our cabin which we rented was well kept and clean. The neighbors very kind my kids & wife loved it there so do I. I highly recommend for anyone who lives in the City you won’t be disappointed with this hidden gem.

Great trailer park! Tons of things to do no matter what age you are. Very family oriented and very well maintained. Mike and Sheila are always upgrading the facilities and making the park better every year. Will visit again and again! Hope to be back this year for another ATV trip.

Nice site. Relatively clean, and nice and friendly owners / staff. They were able to accommodate my drop-in on a bicycle request fairly easily despite them being pretty busy. It looks like they have a dozen tent sites available and several dozen seasonal trailers. There is a great beach to swim at with some water features for kids, a nice sandy bottom and a large dock with some benches to sit at.

(Translated) Very nice campsite right on the lake. Is also right next to the road, but this is relatively little traveled. Very many permanent campers there, so not very many places available, best therefore call ahead. I wrote an e-mail, this was unfortunately not answered. There is a power and water connection and a dump station. Showers and toilets a bit run down, but still very usable. Very nice location, everything important available and for a fair price. (Original) Sehr schöner campingplatz direkt am See. Liegt auch direkt neben der Straße, allerdings ist diese relativ wenig befahren. Sehr viele Dauercamper dort, deshalb nicht sehr viele freie Plätze, am besten deshalb vorher anrufen. Ich habe eine E-Mail geschrieben, diese wurde leider nicht beantwortet. Es gibt einen Strom- sowie Wasseranschluss und eine Dumpstation. Duschen und WC's etwas runtergekommen, aber noch gut benutzbar. Sehr schöne Lage, alles wichtige vorhanden und das für einen fairen Preis.

A hidden gem on route to our home, we were driving back to Owen Sound from Ottawa and were looking for a place to camp out with our new fifth wheel for a night or two, we ended up extending our stay for an extra two nights because we have been enjoying our time so much. It’s family friendly, awesome playground, the lake has plenty to keep the kids busy and it’s an awesome place to unwind by a campfire. Mike and Sheila hospitality has been amazing from helping us park our fifth wheel, to pumping our flat tire they have made this place memorable and awesome! Keep here on a 500km bike trip, owner was amazingly friendly and set us up with an incredible spot overlooking the water. Quiet and great lake for swimming. Would recommend to everyone!

Was told no public access by a park member even though said public access on signs to follow covid rules and said was open on google waa refused the right to use the washrooms as well

My wife, my 2 dogs ( One huskey one pitbull) are currently here. I will start by saying my dogs are well trained. Yours should be too. Anyways. This place is wonderful. It is so well kept. The people here are not only nice but very helpful. My wolfe, chased a duck, duck is faster, never would he have caught him. He would chase until he drown. However. A person from one of the trailers literally kyacked out to help. These people are genuinely so nice. The front desk was outstanding upon arrival. Ice and fire wood for sale. It is family owned and you can tell the heart is there. This place is simply a gem. There is a dog swim (Again, for well trained dogs that will listen to command and also stay close).there is a family swim area with float, rafts ect. You can rent boats at good good prices. It is quite refreshing, a place like this. They have serviced ( electrical) lots and tenting drive up lots which some i think are serviced (electrical etc)And the price is absolutely right. Calm and quiet but full of fun. Thankful to have found this home away from home :) I hope to retain permanent summer uphold here. How wonderful :)!!! Excuse me while i cook fire supper :).
