As there is a trail section and a marked section, I hesitated between my shoes and my hiking boots, finally I went for the boots since an employee told us that there would be mud in the trail section. Comme il y a une section sentier et une section balisée, j'ai hésité entre mes souliers et mes bottes de randonnées, finalement j'y ai été pour les bottes puisqu'une employée nous a dit qu'il y aurait de la boue dans la section sentier. Finalement, il y en avait très peu, j'aurais pu porter mes souliers, mais cela peut également changer d'une fois à l'autre selon la météo des derniers jours.

Le système de réservation en ligne fonctionne bien, la plage est superbe, le personnel est smate, c'est tranquille et on ne respire pas le gaz et l'odeur des hot-dogs du monde en VR. Le parc en lui-même est aussi très bien. Les sentiers de randonnée sont très bien entretenus et les écosystèmes vraiment différents au sein d'un endroit aussi restreint. À noter: c'est à 30 minutes de Baie-Comeau.

Outstanding park run by a non profit org. The Aventurier trail is highly recommended and about 5km total distance (easy/intermediate difficulty). There is a play area with game modules for kids, RV camping spots but no tent camping. The beach is magnificent and at low tide you can walk almost a kilometre away from the shore and, if lucky, see sunbathing sea-lions. Highly recommended but bring food and water prior to entry as there is nothing on site and the nearby dépanneur is poorly stocked.
