18 07 20 Did the loop today, Sunny and temperature around 30 celsius including humidex factor. Be careful getting there with Google Map. It is preferable to do a Google search with "Parc régional du Mont Ham" and then click on "Directions" from there unless you want to get stuck on an impassable road. We went up taking the trails "Button" and "Tour du Button" and came down by the "Panoramique" for a distance of 9.72 kilometers. Il rained the previous night so it was cool and refreshing in the woods when we started at around 09:30. The rain also brought out beautiful odors from the trees and vegetation. At the top spectacular 360 degrees views of the region. One of our favorite trails. 13 07 20 Thank you to the Abénakis nation for letting us walk in the nice and challenging trails of this park.

Ce qui nous a séduit c'est surtout le top du mont. La végétation et les contrastes avec le vert. Très beau. Faites un détour par la microbrasserie 7 moulins! Le menu est très bien, et c'est super abordable.

Trails generally well marked but not easy; many require the use of ropes to pull themselves up. Not recommended for people with mobility problems. To go to the top and come back, allow 3 hours if you are not, like me, an experienced hiker. Cela dit, je suis assez fière d'y être parvenue (sentier Intrépide)...et d'en être revenue (sentier Panoramique) ????. La vue au sommet vaut les efforts ????.

Le seul point négatif c'est qu'en plusieurs endroits il y a beaucoup d'érosion du sol à cause d'un fort achalandage qui fait en sorte que le sentier est très large. La diversité de la flore n'a rien d'exceptionnelle mais il y a tout de même une belle érablière mature peu ou pas perturbée à voir avec les plantes typiques de ce milieu.

This place has amazing views and is well worth the 8 dollar entry fee. Some of the routes are very technically difficult (including the use of ropes for some areas) so just beware before choosing the most difficult routes. We did a difficult route to the top and then a longer walk around the perimeter, both were beautiful and well worth the effort.

Swimming in the lake, hiking on Mount Ham (a good 2 hours if you are a good walker, steep and rocky), and tasting of local products at the canteen trailer which is 8 minutes from the park reception. Dogs allowed at the southern campsite but not in the hike. You can leave it on a leash downstairs with water, which we did. A magnificent discovery. The locals are nice, they have great products, lots of young families and great initiatives, in addition to a relaxing and beautiful nature. Note: $ 8 per adult per hike You can also camp at the top of the mountain! ☀️???? (Original) Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Nous avons campé au camping sud du mont ham, trop bien ! Baignade dans le lac, rando du mont Ham ( un bon 2 heures si vous êtes bon marcheur, abrupte et rocheux), et dégustation de produits locaux à la roulotte cantine qui se trouve à 8 min de l'accueil du parc. Chiens permis au camping sud mais pas dans la rando. Vous pouvez le laisser en laisse en bas avec de l'eau, ce que nous avons fait. Une magnifique découverte. Les gens du coin sont gentils, ils ont de beaux produits, bcp de jeunes familles et de belles initiatives, en plus d'une nature reposante et belle. Note : 8$ par adulte la rando Vous pouvez aussi camper en haut de la montagne! ☀️????

A great mountain to climb for all fitness levels with path options for beginners to advanced. The trails are well marked and easy to follow. I recommend taking a picture of the different paths so they are handy on your phone. The views up top are very nice and there are many viewpoints along the way. The hike, up and down, is about 4 hours at an easy pace.

Such a beautiful mountain offering several paths some longer then others. It is not a free mountain so bring money to pay the access fee and maybe buy a soup and coffee after the trail.
