Great place to have a morning coffee even Huge beautiful trees nice benches out houses regularly maintained, and a nice park

Trevor Hogue

Always a pleasant place to camp. No firewood available though and it can be a bit noisy as it's right on the main highway. Barrhead is a nice farming community and the people are friendly. Power in some sites but no water or sewer services.

Would be a 4 star if there had been firewood available. Alternatively maybe this should be noted on the website so campers have the opportunity to get firewood in town before they set up.

It's a good place to take a rest. There is a playground and a place to use the bathroom.

Art Rennie

Nice place to stop over as I visit my daughter, who works at Home hardware .I would stay 2 or 3 weeks if they had sewage and water. A great work project for the town ,as they own it .Bring in the tourist to the area and community, as I do buy groceries and l support local businesses.

Great place to camp, when it's not under water. The park is great and big enough for a large group. The cook shacks are usually quite clean and well maintained

Clean and quiet. There is power but no water or sewer, however they do let you know where the dump station and potable water is in town. Very cost effective. My family will be back when in the area

Little bit of highway noises..but really good accommodations

Lloyd Zilinski

Fairly basic amenities but clean and well maintained. Ideal place for a quick stop for a picnic lunch, as we did. Not sure about the price for camping here but most of these little service club campgrounds in Alberta's villages, towns, and cities are usually quite reasonably priced and well kept up, if a little basic in their offerings.

It is a nice campground. Many sites are treed to keep things shady. It is convenient to town if supplies are needed.

Randy Cruickshank
