Lovely little park with the great memorial. Well taken care of and very clean. There is lots of greenspace for running around, as well as a little playground nearby. Worth a visit to pay your respects to the fallen.

All inspiring. Brought me to tears. I hadn't been to Mayerthorpe in 40 years. I visited with my mother. Two years later I took my daughter to see it. What an amazing way to represent the Mounties by having their statues facing where their from. The park and gift shop was wonderful.

A lovely tribute for the 4 mounties who were slain and for all peace officers killed in the line of duty.

Been here before. A respectful reminder of the four mounties whose lives were taken. Was surprised that they are charging $2/person now. We did not pay. Walked around the visitor center to the monument. Donations would be better, I think.

Educational place inside. Informed and kind tendants. Respectfully designed and beautiful monuments outside. My girlfriend and I met here on my way through to use their lawns and immaculately flowered park to have a social distance visit (I live in GP, she in Westlock so was on my way through and about an hour and a half meet for her). My cousin's son (from Manning) absolutely LOVES their park so insists on stopping there to play at that park specifically on their way through. Always clean. Always beautiful. Worth your time to take a break here and learn to appreciate our RCMP more as well as have that chance to stop and literally smell the roses

In these troubled times of anti-law enforcement and defund police initiatives the "Fallen Four Memorial Park" in Mayerthorpe, Alberta is a reminder of one of the stark realities of law enforcement work. Back in the first decade of the 2000's four RCMP officers went to work one day and never returned to their homes. This park holds the memorial statues of the four police officers who paid the ultimate price in serving their community. This park is clean and well maintained. In visiting this site please respect the efforts of those who support and maintain it.
