In addition, I had Jereme and his team completely transform my garage interior to a showcase finished garage complete with drywall repairs. I also had them install new window blinds and wire shelves. Ausherman Painting will not be your lowest bidder, but experience has taught me to stick with them. From the get-go they pknow that preparation is the first guarantee of a professional, long lasting paint job. Years ago, they did not hedge on the ladder work when restoring the cornice detail on the front of my 1890 house. Recently Steve Fletcher‘s crew put just as much care into rehabbing the back of my house (which hadn’t been painted for at least 40 years that I know of), even though it wasn’t going to be a showcase streetside.

Truly excellent work and attention to detail. This is the second time I've contracted with Ausherman in the last year. I can't speak for other organizations, but I can assure you based on experience that this group will go to great lengths to reach perfection. When crew members break out a white light to check for surface issues on the walls (beyond the obvious nail pops and cracking) to address prior to painting, you know quality is top of mind. These are things you may not even see, but, again, it's all about the detail with Ausherman.

They did an excellent job with priming and painting the metal roof of an old farmhouse. Job was challenging as the back part of the house is 4 stories off the ground and there are two levels to paint with very steep pitches. In addition, the rainy weather made it difficult to plan ahead to get the job completed. They kept us informed along the way. One day to clean the roof surfaces and to prime the worst sections and two days to paint the roof. Job was professionally managed from beginning to end with a signed contract and multiple visits by the owner when quoting the project and the first day of the job. No slopped paint on the house windows and they thoroughly cleaned up. I would recommend them highly and I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Ausherman Painting provided a quote with a capped (ie: not to exceed) number of hours. They billed the capped hours even though it took them less time to complete the job. The estimator failed to clearly explain that hours were man hours and not total hours. More importantly, the work was not done to my satisfaction. In fact, it was very poorly done. Because this was a relatively small job, I paid the full amount of the invoice and submitted a letter with photographs explaining my issues. They had no problem cashing my check. I will not use them in the future.
