Doug Holland and his crew were wonderful. They covered up everything before painting and drywall work . They cleaned all the dust. They vacuumed and cleaned up everything. And helped me put things back. I would recommend them and will use them again

I had Jose painting employee Armando, he was such a great worker, fast and efficient. He was also kind with great manners. The next day he had Clementina come to help and she also was an outstanding employee. I would recommend Jose painting to anyone that needs paint. They also had a fair price under their competitors. I was also impressed by Jose Luis the man in charge, he came to my home to help with the colors and he was great at picking out just what I needed, he is great at knowing exactly what you need.

I had the OWNER of the company come out to my house over two weeks ago to provide an estimate for an addition and painting. After 5 or 6 phone calls and empty promises and still NO ESTIMATE, I've decided to go with a more professional company. The office staff is unbearably rude as well. RIDICULOUS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Re-stained our large house, repaired rot, and damage from pests. Re-stained shingle siding, trim, doors, windows, deck railings, deck surface, and applied clear coat on stained wood ceilings. The completed work was excellent. They were flexible as we clarified expectations and changed some of the scope of the work to be done during the process. (We decided to have the exterior stone primed and painted the same color as the house).

We did a full interior paint job. There were nearly 100 spots with paint drip, poor cut in or single coats I had to point out personally as errors in their work. Also, left paint stains all over my brand new flooring. After finishing working on the spots I pointed out they rushed out the door instead of confirming I was satisfied with their work. However, they were punctual and did the job quickly. Edit 7/29: Have not received a call despite the owner’s comment below. Edit 8/7: Still no call to resolve the issue.

We’ve used them several times on the interior and exterior of our house. Most recently, they stained and painted our deck. I had a total of two paint colors and a ceiling stain so it was a little complex and they did a great job. They took their time to make sure it was perfect and that with the staining was exactly how many coats I wanted. I appreciated them hard work!

One of their reps was across the street from my house giving a paint estimate. I went to him and ask if he would mind giving me an estimate on some paint work at my house, and he said that as soon as he got done with my neighbor, he would be right over. A little bit later he got in his car and left. Must have been happy hour! LOL Now I'm glad that I didn't use them. Don't need a business like Jose's Painting doing any work on my house!

Let me start by saying I appreciate the idea of painting a kiddo's bedroom pink, even if it's not my choice, but a bathroom?! Why pink? Why? Doug and his team offered me a great price and knowing I was pregnant was sure to get the 0 VOC for my peace of mind. The initial estimate called for minor dry wall repair, however after my husband's and my attempt to remove all of the fabulous brass (yes brass) fixtures from our pink bathroom, let's just say there was a lot more dry wall work to be done. My husband was nervous (understandably so) as we had created some major destruction which was not there initially. Jose's painting team took it in stride and patched everything up so perfectly that all the other contractors we had come in were impressed with their work. They measured everything perfectly so when it came time to put the new fixtures up it was a great fit. We were so happy that we asked for a future quote for other rooms which were also well priced.

Please stay clear from this company Jose’s Painting or JP painting and remodeling. I hired them to paint my trim and recaulk, scrape and reprime where needed and all they did was spray over the old caulking and paint. Doug was the original contractor who came out and signed me up. When i called them back 4 months later because the windows were cracking he went mia for over 2 months. I had to call and email the main office and spoke to Claudia Ortega who was just as incompetent as Doug and the entire crew. Please do not hire them unless you like to get lied to and get the run around. There warranty is useless!

I called Jose’s painting to get a quote to paint my cabinets. I scheduled and appointment and the day before I had some questions that I needed clarification on. The owners Son was extremely rude and obviously had enough of my questions. He responded to one of my particular text messages with “Again” and proceeded to answer my question. I called him out on this and he called and said I was not a good fit for the company. Little did he know, I was seconds away from canceling my appointment. I asked to speak with the owner and he insisted that the owner was not going to call me and that I might as well deal with him because he is part owner. He went back and forth with me at which he said that because he was bilingual he did not know that starting a sentence off with “Again” is rude! I will not be using this company and don’t advise anyone else to!

I Spotted one of their Jose’s Painting vans in Woodstock and decided to give them a call. Out of the three estimates I received they were not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. Doug the sales person was very knowledgeable and also very courteous, so I decided to go with him as I felt assured he would be on top of my small painting project. The siding on my house was painted to my satisfaction and all of my bushes and exterior furniture was covered. Even my car was covered in plastic as to prevent paint from getting on my car. Overall they did a great job from prep to finish. Only issue that I did have is that they where about a week backed up due to the high amount of rain. I would recommend them to my friends and family and have recommended them to my neighbors who have followed suit and started painting there houses even!
