The experience from start to finish was superb. Fred was completely prepared when he came to give us a quote with copies of all their credentials, step by step detail of the work they would provide, etc etc. Everything he stated would be done was on the work order and every item was completed as he stated. Deborah was awesome and explained the next steps after we signed the contract and coordinated the crews to start around weather and my work schedule. The crew showed up on time every day. They were never in the way and moved from area to area without a hiccup. The job foreman Tomas met with me each morning and did a walk around and explained what they would be doing throughout the day. He updated me on where they were at the end of the day, always on task to finish as promised which they absolutely did. He and his crew were very professional and very skilled in their craft as painters. The prep work was done perfectly. They not only pressure washed the house, they went beyond and did the sidewalks around the house. The painting was excellent. The lines between colors are straight and the paint is only on the house, no overspray or drips anywhere. The doors, gutters, and window trims look brand new. Not a drop of paint on the glass or any of the sidewalks. Even areas that had plants right up next to the house were painted and the plants are all still green. The clean up after, you would not have known they were here, excellent work, excellent communication, a very pleasant experience overall. Highly recommend these folks.

They were extremely professional, conscientious and did a great job. My house looks terrific!. I received several bids from other companies. The owner of the company came out to provide an estimate. He was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The bid was though and accurately captured the details we discussed. The bid was very reasonable, including using the highest quality paint from Sherwin Williams. The documents were the most complete, answering all my questions and made me confident that I was in good hands. I was able to schedule the project very quickly and we were lucky to take advantage of a string of sunny days. The team was on time, communicated well about when they would be working and checked in with questions. The job was done over 3 days. I am an avid gardener and feared mass destruction of the plants near the house. I was pleasantly surprised that there was very little damage to them. Not even a dusting of paint. Once the job was finished, I walked around with an eagle eye looking for missed spots and things that needed to be fixed. It was perfect the first time. No touch ups needed. The team lead stopped by for a final inspection to make sure we were happy. We certainly are! I would highly reccomend CertaPro of Willamette if you are considering painting your house. They are excellent!

I saw first hand very disappointing work and wouldn't use this company if it were free. Zero attention to detail, items missing or broken from home. Paint all over trim and outlets. Promised two days, took two weeks. I have personally painted my own home and it looked considerably better. Don't know if they hired new workers due to previous reviews but I would never have this crew in my home.

This was my first time hiring painters to do the exterior of my home, and I was so glad it was with CertaPro. During my estimate/consultation, Fred showed up and we had a thorough walk-through and discussion about what I wanted to do. In a short amount of time, he printed out an estimate/proposal and had it ready for me in just a few minutes. Once I had my project on the schedule, I was contacted by Amy and put together a plan for the colors and details I decided on. They were very responsive and always got back to me in a timely manner. One of the biggest concerns I had was making sure that my family was safe and protected during COVID-19 having people around from outside my household, but Amy was very considerate about my requests for the crew. Whenever the crew had to interact with me, they had masks and were very courteous. Once the project began, their crew was fast, efficient, and extremely nice. It all came together quite fast, and I was really surprised at the speed and cleanliness of which they worked. Without I doubt, I would hire them again, and am 100% satisfied with their work and professionalism. As usually I got the standard 3 estimates-bids for this job. I was driving in my neighborhood and I notice this beautiful painted house. It was the home of my children classmates. Fred and Deborah of CertaPro are just amazing. We were prepping our Tigard house for sale and we needed to paint two sides of the house (the ones facing the Sun). We were in a hurry to complete the job. We called CertaPro and Deborah arranged for Fred to come out and give us a quote. After meeting with Fred, going over the pricing and how they do the job both my wife and I felt that there is no need for us to go out there looking for additional quotes. After agreeing on the details of the job they started the work within 5 days. After we saw how good of a job they have done on those two sides of the house we had them paint the rest of the exterior of the house (including garage doors). What we didn't expect is that they would paint gutters which made them look brand new. That was very impressive. Both Fred and Deborah have been extremely responsive and communicative. They would come out multiple times through the job to the site to check on everything (not that there was a need since their crew is amazing but just goes to show you how good they truly are). Then we also had them paint first floor of the house and then bathroom and two rooms upstairs. Just amazing. Since then I have been recommending Fred and Deborah to all of my friends and family. The CertaPro team for the interior painting project was very professional, from the office staff to the painters. Julia is home bound with severe asthma issues. The selected paint was appropriate for persons with allergies. The painters immediately corrected any livability issues with Julia and our two kittens while the work was being performed. The contractor even had a home cleaning service come and perform a final cleanup, even though the painters did a good pickup job. The resulting cleanup was excellent. Any rework and patchup work was resolved in a timely manner. I recommend CertaPro for interior painting jobs.

I was told that painting my exterior trim would be a 3-day job. It took over 2 weeks to complete. On day 13 I created a scheduling problem because different interior paint guys (not CertaPro) were working on the entryway when the exterior guys were there to work on the front door. This lead to an altercation between crews and a lost day of work that could have been avoided had cooler heads prevailed. I had to call several times to get movement on handyman work that was left off the work order. And I was twice invoiced before the job was complete. I think the work quality was good, but by the end, I just wanted it over.

Great to work with. Not the cheapest bid, but by far the most up front about the process. Five bids, but Fred was the only one that noticed some potential damage and detailed how repairs would be handled and prepped us for potential expenses. Others either didn't notice or were unconcerned about springing extra costs on us. Or worse didn't care and would have painted over the damage. Deborah communicated with us throughout the process and kept us well informed. Crew, including the contractor that did the repairs, were great. Everything turned out wonderful. Very happy we made the right choice.

They know how to deal with aging siding and have carpenters on call who can repair as needed. The paint crews were on time, polite, cheerful and did an excellent job. It is sort of hard to rate a company that does not perform the work. My job was subbed out to another company. Although CertaPro made sure the painters had some CertaPro clothing to wear, there is no hiding the name of the company on the side of the van and their equipment. I understand during the busy season there may be a need to do this, but at least tell me that is what you are doing. I am sure CertaPro will still honor their warranty and the work. I can't help thinking if my job was worthy of subbing out that I could have found this painting company myself and saved some money too! The paint job- done very nicely, I must say.

Franchise selling company based out of PA and sub their jobs to other painters. I met Fred of CP in Safeway pkng lot by way of his certapro ad on his truck. I quickly asked for a card. Seemed like nice guy and in-home estimate seemed a bit high at nearly 4k for a simple 3bdrm 2bath ranch. But I am a caregiver for my elderly mother that lives there and I’m injured (partially disabled) myself, so thought this needed to be done. I’ve never used a contractor before but I’ve remodeled several houses in my younger days inside and out. I’ve also been a Project Manager for larger jobs. I could never get a definite answer as to when they would start job for sure other than 3 wks out or maybe sooner. They told me I needed to be there to check in workers and I told them to let me know so I could schedule days off. After almost 3 1/2 weeks of waiting, myself having to go to paint store and color match paint, two different people emailing me that apparently didn’t communicate within, and me having to mostly contact them, they still had a sub pressure washer(double J painting)show up at my house when I was at work unannounced, wake my elderly mother, and could hardly speak english. VERY poor communication within this franchise and to the customer. Would not recommend. *Gave 2 stars bc Fred did present himself well.

Fred, Deborah, Andrew and the entire crew were extremely professional and the end result was better than expected. Too many times contractors either don't do what they promise or when they promise it by, or because they are paid by the job and not hourly they rush through the job doing sub par work in the process. Deborah showed up with Andrew for the initial walk around and I was genuinely surprised that my questions and concerns were taken seriously and the job was performed to MY specifications, not theirs! (I'm pretty demanding) Can't say enough about the great job CertaPro and more importantly, their crew did, I would highly recommend them!
