My mother’s car was taken here by her Honda dealership to get some body work done, when we got the car back it did look great. But I guess when they had detailed it(inside looked great too)they removed my sons car seat and obviously didn’t know what they were doing and broke it. I was initially very upset but reached out to Honda who in turn reached out to Sudbury auto works and had a man named Steve contact me. He was great to deal with and replaced the car seat. So overall I’d say they do great work and have great customer service as well.

I just picked my vehicle up from CARSTAR (440 Falconbridge) Sudbury. The car looks amazing. I bought the vehicle I was leasing, and had a windshield replaced and some body work done. The car looks brand new - sparkling clean inside and out. Steve Marleau (Lead Estimator) was fantastic. Very professional, and oriented toward customer satisfaction. Initially very pleased with service, but again attention to detail lacking. My rear bumper and tailgate needed to be repaired insurance covered most of the repairs and I paid out of pocket to repair previous rust on tailgate, unfortunately not all rust was repaired but they did manage on painting and clearcoating over the rust. I find it difficult to believe a painter could paint over a bubbling rust spot without noticing, very displeased with the quality of work. On top of this they left a scratch on, what I thought was part of the bumper that was to be repaired, turns out it was a separate panel attached to the bumper, so they reinstalled this scratched piece onto a full painted a repaired rear end, kinda sticks out like a sore thumb, this is the first time I have had repairs done at Carstar and I assure you it will be the last.

Great customer service at the initial stage of my insurance claim, took photos, was in contact my insurance company, had a rental. All less than an hour . I was given an estimate of 2 weeks. After two week period I called CarStar in a Friday for an update and was advised I would receive a call back in an hour. I didn't receive a call back. I called Carstar 6 days later for an update and I received my vehicle the following day. I inspected my vehicle and discovered my tire replacement was a PT rated 4 ply tire , when I have LT 14 ply rated tire. They advised they would contact Crosstown Chev and make the arrangements to have the proper tire installed. This took another 6 days . I had to dedicate more time out of my busy schedule as a result of Carstar's mistake. My vehicle does not run the same, it vibrates when idle, and my driver seat was not repaired. I have to say they do great body work, but their attention to detail at the completion of my insurance claim was lacking, as was their level of customer service. I will be going elsewhere for any future insurance claims.

This place is A1, from the front end people to the back of the house. A VERY big thank you to Rianne *I hope I'm spelling your name right, I also meant to grab a card but didn't) who orchestrated the whole thing. I went to Carstar because I was getting some warranty work done that a previous shop had messed up. The first time I went in there to the last (which trust me was a couple) was enjoyable. My next thank you is to Steve who not only was a big help but was really pleasant to talk to considering I spent almost hours in his office due to an error on my insurance company's end. Then when it finally came time to do the work they were fast and efficient, even helped me argue with the rental people when they didn't have the car rental ready when it was supposed to be. The bumper looks great and my car feels whole again. Thank you everyone at Carstar for helping me through this stressful time. :) Two thumbs way up! Small EDIT: P.S. Love the coffee machine it was the touch that put the cherry on the 5* for me, it was so tasty!

Car needed some under-carriage repairs after a run into a curb. Their high standards would not settle for unsatisfactory replacement parts, even though it meant waiting longer for job completion. They worked with us to do the job as inexpensively but satisfactorily as possible, and went overboard to have all completed before a long weekend, and assisted us in obtaining a rental car at a cheaper rate than we could have gotten. Their professionalism and care for the customer is much appreciated!

My 84 year old mother was told here car would be ready in a week. It has now been two weeks and no end in sight .she brought it in to fix some of the rust on wheel wells and a few other spots. This is unacceptable. Any business that doesn't even have the parts in should not be accepting clients. I would not recommend this place for anybody. At this point she should retrieve her car and look elsewhere .

Suffice it to say the experience I had with the insurer and adjusters was painful, arbitrary and downright unpleasant. Car star on the other hand went above and beyond. They were able to guide me through the process and took the time to explain things to me in detail where the insurance company was unable or unwilling. I’ve had my vehicle back for about 3 weeks now and I have had no issues whatsoever. It looks as good as new. So far no complaints! Thanks Carstar!

Can't Speak to cost. CARSTAR completed a warranty repair for my vehicle. Work looked great and was completed faster than promised. They also detailed my vehicle, which is pretty standard for body work but they did a great job cleaning it.

When I first got work done gere I would have given a 2 star rating because there was a mistake with the clear coat on my rear bumper. It had faded away on me within 4 months. So I went back and talk to the manager Steve Premeau (don't know if i spelled that right) he said he would fix it up for me, he also got a service done down at crosstown for me. He told me that he would get me all fixed up with a rental for the whole duration my car was in the shop. They got my car all done at the dealership and at their location in a very reasonable pace. So in turn I have to change my 2 stars to 5 because of the excellent service from the manager Steve. Would recommend people go here for work or insurance work

Friendly staff at carstar. The car rental associate with it had a rude attendant. All the contract were in French at the rental place. The attendant didn’t notify me that it was in French ( I can’t read French) and expected me to sign it. I like to read what I’m signing, so I caught it that it was in French. I refused to sign and they had to print and bring the contract from another location.

I was blown away by the quality of service the team at CARSTAR provided - not only were they flexible with their rates, they went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction with regular updates, pictures, modified estimates, etc. When I received the vehicle back (minor bumper work which required a replacement bumper/paint job), it was better than new. Also, to my amazement, they detailed the interior of the vehicle (which in my mind, was not required whatsoever). Riian at the client service desk was beyond helpful, and the rest of the team made the experience exceed my expectations. The facility is very beautiful, modern, and I would recommend it to anyone. If only there was a way to give more than 5 stars on a Google review...

Went in for a bumper that was cracked. Received a rental from within the building and the everything was convient. They even had a machine that made warm drinks. I received my car back and it was detailed to the 9’s inside. Felt like my car came off of the lot when I sat inside. I never expected the inside to be cleaned since the damage was on the outside. My only issue was on the delay of 3 days as they said they were waiting on the part to come in.... but the reason I had to wait 3 or 4 weeks was so the parts were all in... so I'm a little confused. I will never use this shop again. The first time I picked up my vehicle....they forgot to put the rear skid plate back on. I took my car back and pointed out that what was supposed to be done (remove and replace the muffler, replace the broken mud flap etc.) wasn't done. They called me at home and accused me of taking the insurance cheque that I had never seen. They eventually found it in the office of an employee not related to my work. I went back again for a rattle in a panel on the hatch that had been replaced. They kept it for repairs. When it was returned to me, my back-up camera was flopping around as they failed to fasten it. This is unacceptable. Even if you are really nice, you aren't doing the job you are being paid to do.

It should have took them 11 days to fix my car. When i arrived to pick it up the seatbelt would not work therefore they have to keep it and forced me to keep renting a vehicle. They should have taken over that cost. I was very upset. As well , our bearing was broken and they said it was not part of the accident. Well that bearing was not broken before the accident. I was displeased. And they never offered to help with the car rental since i had no coverage because it cost me over 1000 dollars for 1 month rental. Never again!
