I recently engaged Heritage Painters to do some work in my condo. The owner Brian Flight consulted with me and was helpful in making some decisions. The work was done beautifully by Chris, Dan, and Mason. They were professional, skilled, and rose to the challenge of an unusual ceiling treatment which turned out beautifully. I recommend them without hesitation.

We had our entire house painted by Heritage Painters (other than the basement). Although the quality of the work was decent, the scheduling did not go as planned. One day before the completion of the project, we were asked for full payment. We asked that the work be completed before we gave payment and it was (other than some areas that were missed). These areas were completed, and we were told at this time that they would be back to paint the front door and frame. When Brian came out to do the estimate, he said that he would throw in the painting of the front door as it would not take much time at all (and considering the money that we had spent). It was even wrote on Brian’s copy to “paint the front door”. Brian came back the following week to talk about the colour for the door and said he would just come back and do it himself. About 2 weeks after we were told they would be back to do that, My calls and messages were ignored. When I called from a different number my call was answered. Brian said that they had done $755 of extra work and painted one room that was in the estimate as a “fresh coat of paint”, it was no cost to them as the colour was the same as the rest of the house. If you choose to use Heritage, be sure that ALL work is completed before payment is made. The sad part about this is that we actually were fairly happy with the job, fed all the workers each day and had recommended Heritage Painters to 2 families that are having their house painted soon. We will sadly take those recommendations back, not just because of the front door not being completed, but because of Brian’s attitude during our phone call. He was actually quite rude, and stated himself that “next time we can call another company” and hung up on me.

When I came to post my review I was not surprised to see a 2 star rating. It made sense from the service we had recieved. A little advice for this company would be to not sell what you can not service. Don't sell groupons if you are going to give them the run a round when trying to book. Company does not pick up the phone EVER. It has taken months to try to get through to anyone and to book gutter cleaning which we paid for. We called when we bought the groupon in February and they told us to call back in the sping. We called back and now they don't have anyone to come out till Sept however when we wanted to book for Sept we were told that the "schedule" wasnt out yet so to call/email back in aug/Sept. If this company was more organized they would have a schedule made already. It's already July. Instead they just refer you to get a refund back from group on. Horrible experience!

Heritage Painters was referred to me by a friend. Two members of my family purchased a condo. The scope of the work included installing a new interior doors and painting the entire condo including ceiling repairs. After the initial contact, Heritage was prompt in reviewing the scope of work and provided a quote the same day. After reviewing all quote we received, we selected Heritage Painters to perform the work. From the outset Heritage communicated with me every step of the way, was always on time and cleaned up after each days work. Their quality of work was excellent and they stayed on budget. As a result of my experience with Heritage, I have had them perform work at our home which included painting a somewhat difficult skylight and painting/repairing in our living room, bedrooms and family room. If you want a quality job and be stress free, contact them. I would not hesitate to recommend Heritage Painters to anyone.

Worst experience with this company. Bought their Groupon took months to get an appointment. The morning they were set to come for 9am they showed up at 10am. We were told there might be extra if there were too many gutters. So we had a credit card ready at the end he said no charge just need the 14 cash for the tax. Who keeps 14 cash in their wallets. And instead of just saying we will invoice you or you can call it in. He started to argue with me and called me people like you. Threatened to come if it's not paid. Seriously ?!? Get a grip and way to lose an future with working with us again. Obviously the man doesn't know how to handle customers. We won't be back ever.

The crew did an okay job. I purchased their window cleaning service through GroupOn. The picture associated with that promotion, of a window being soaped and squeegee-cleaned, is false advertising. All they do is clean the window panes with a damp rag and then wipe them dry. Also, the management is neither polite nor courteous. Notably, they run two different GroupOn deals in London, but don't try to buy GroupOns for both, lest you feel like getting a lecture on how GroupOn is a rip-off.

Tried many times to get through. Left messages and they did call back but time frame was unpredictable 1-3 days after. Would call them right back and couldn't get through. Left message stating that i have tried many times to get through but I keep getting their voice mail, and they should just leave a date and time of appointment on my voicemail and I will leave $ in mailbox. And that I was upset with their phone service. Got a call back from owner who got progressively angrier at me for message . When I said I had now left 5 messages trying to get an appointment, she not only still didn't give me date and time, but went on to say angrier things and then hung up. Yes really. Weird customer service. You might get good customer service but I sure didn't . She did yell at me that it was their busy time of year so I would guess she is stressed and over reacting unpredictably. Good luck to your eavestrough , if this service provider is having a bad day!

Do not buy any groupons/coupons for this company. Google search reviews of them. The owner Brian is rude and will hang up on you. I have e-mailed and phoned numerous times over the last month to rebook the window cleaning they never showed up to do. They have never responded to any of them. I have finally given up and have asked groupon to refund my money.

Extremely unpleasant company to deal with....I just called them to set up an appointment for a groupon I purchased, and the lady who answered the phone very short with me from the get go. I don't know if was a bad time to call or what but she was very unpleasant during the entire call, I tried to ask a few questions and that seemed to irritate her further.... and when I had had enough and suggested I deal with someone else she said she wouldn't send a crew to my house with me being 'the way I was'...and she hung up...so no, I do not recommend this company

Voice message states: "2016 and 2017 Consumer Choice Award winner" which is questionable from my experience and other reviews. Our telephone tag ended when they quit the game without notifying me. I left 10+ messages over 2 days and the response to the email I sent was to call and speak to someone...if only that were possible. I found it too time consuming and a waste of my time so decided to take my business elsewhere. Initially I was refused a cash refund by Groupon, but eventually Heritage Painters agreed with the following response: "Heritage Painters can appreciate and understand that some customers getting frustrated when calling into our office and getting voicemail. We clearly ask on our voicemail message that customers leave 1 message for us and we will call back as soon as possible for we are in high season and dealing with a high volume of calls. We do call all customers back within 24hrs and if we get their voicemail we ask kindly again they leave a message and we will get back to them. This customer called us on 09/27/17 and L/M which we returned, by leaving a return V/M. There was again messages left by both parties on 09/28/17. Since the last message left, this customer has felt it is appropriate to call numerous time – back to back – trying to get through – all while interrupting the work flow of staff. Today alone – she has called 10 times in 4 hours and left 7 messages. We will not deal with any form of harassment and will not take a risk of putting staff on her property in fear they may be treated the same."

I purchased a groupon August 2018, and have since been trying to book an appointment. I've never received one. Now they said they would not deal with me do to my "ill" email and concern for safety of their staff. The email had no vulgar or threatening language. No respect shown to perspective customers.

I love my house! I just had to write a review because I saw the mediocre score they had. I can't say enough about the excellent job that Heritage Painters did with prepping and painting my house. It looks great! The attention to detail was fabulous...we put four different colors on our "simple victorian" home.
