Nest Builders renovated my bathroom for me in February and March, 2021 and did an outstanding job. Over a span of less than 2 weeks, they turned my eyesore of a bathroom into a feature room in the home. Jason did a beautiful job replacing the bathtub, drywalling and tiling the bathtub surround and installing the fixtures. They abided by all the COVID restrictions, and were flexible to meet and work on my schedule. They were completely upfront with the costs, with no unexpected charges at the end. And the final product completely surpassed my expectations. It feels like I have a 5 star hotel bathroom in my home. I would definitely recommend their services and will be giving them a call on my next renovation project.

Tom did our basement development for us. We were looking for someone that would be hassle and pain free and he absolutely delivered that for us. He had a competitive price and gave us really great options to fit our budget including a locally built vanity which was a really nice touch. We started our renovation with a scale Sketchup plan of the bathroom changes and a detailed list of renovation requirements. Our starting point was a prioritized list of 10 potential contractors. We contacted the first 4 and quickly found that most were not interested in using our Sketchup plan as the blueprint or working with our interior decorator Amanda Schroter Design. However Bathroom Renovations Edmonton (nest BUILDER) was willing. They couldn’t work directly with the Sketchup file so the renovation became a close collaboration with our primary contact Doug Walton. Work started June 7, 2021 with the kitchen counter templating. Demolition of the existing bathrooms started August 3. The full reno was substantially finished November 5 with a couple of breaks in between waiting for materials. Lawrence almost became part of our family during the 10 weeks he spent on site. His skill and attention to detail resulted in perfection in the finished product. The tile work in the ensuite and basement bathroom is amazing. This same perfection is evident in the vinyl plank flooring he installed in the basement. For us this is a 10 star result that has made our place much more livable. Nest Builder proved to be very flexible in their approach to completing a renovation. You will not go wrong if you can get them as your partner for a renovation.

We hired Tom from Nest Builder to completely update our recently purchased home. We were very happy with the finished product. All new floors, granite counters, heated tile in our mud room, and new back splash for the kitchen. We plan on having them back to complete some further upgrades to our master bathroom. We did have a problem with our kitchen faucet and nearly two years later Tom came by with a new one and installed at no charge even when we were likely beyond the warranty coverage. I recently had two bathrooms completely renovated by Tom's team. They are highly experienced and knowledgeable; provide excellent quality workmanship; and are very easy and pleasant to work with. Tom is a perfectionist and holds his team to high standards. Doug was excellent to work with; he was very responsive, always replying to emails, texts or calls on the same day. Lawrence was meticulous in his work and took care to be as minimally intrusive as possible. Tom and team went above and beyond, addressing issues not in the original contract at no additional cost. While I know they are very busy, they make you feel like their only client. I am very pleased with their work and highly recommend them.

I had been in search of a company to take on the task of reconditioning my chimney for well over a year as it which was showing signs of weathering and threatened water damage to our roof and attic insulation.. I tried recommendations from contractors and contacts from when we bought the house 3 years ago. All of which seemed to drag on with promises of a good deal and or of a quick job . None panned out sadly. Everything missed calls to empty promises and inflated quotes. With winter coming quickly I was recommended by a friend to contact Tom and with in days he had me a competitive quote and had bought the supplies in advance and had them on my door step and got the workers on site and the "Ball rolling" in record time.. He recognized the need to secure and repair the roof and damaged area quick as weather was the worry. Among all other jobs on the go, he tacked it in short order and even when we changed directions mid project he unflinchingly was more than glad to get my house fixed in record time- in a manor i was very happy with... And all under budget . 100% recommended and i will be spending more of my hard earned money on his Quality work.. **And he has a excellent crew!! job well boys and very much appreciated. Start to finish PROS ...!!! Didn't have to lift a finger and i am happy.. ***** stars

Our downstairs bathroom badly needed renovating: rusty sink, dilapidated tub, crazy-old fixtures, old & peeling wallpaper - it was just yukk. Got several quotes and Nest Builder's was competitive; we ended up going with them because they presented some creative design ideas the others didn't. The end result is gorgeous, and so far the quality of their work has been impeccable. Doug and Tom were very helpful with overall design as well as selecting specific items: fixtures, tile, countertop, flooring etc. This included incorporating some existing fixtures in the design (cabinets etc that were fine and didn't need to be replaced). They were very good at understanding our peculiarities & priorities; I really appreciated that! There were some surprises during the reno itself - this is an old house with lots of living and a not-so-handyman previous owner in its story - and Nest Builder dealt with these efficiently and professionally. The end result is gorgeous and well worth the effort! I appreciated their help and input throughout the project, and am so pleased with the result! I would definitely recommend them to a friend - in fact I have asked them to renovate our other bathroom later this spring and am looking forward to working with them again soon.

We were referred to Nest builder by a coworker. Our first home was a condo and when we needed more space we bought an older home which needed to be extensively renovated. Honestly we were scared about all the possible isssues that might come up, Tom walked us through five months of addition, kitchen and main floor reno’s patiently helping us feel very comfortable. The quality was impeccable, actually we are spoiled now that we know the difference in craftsmanship between our first condo which was new when we took possession and the work completed on our fully remodeled new home. We have a plan to refinish our 1970’s basement with them too. There have been very few issues to speak of since the reno’s were completed a few years back but we are always pleased with the service and seem to get added value whenever they are around.
