UPDATE: Mill Creek Painters - there were no other trades present in the upstairs suite when the painters arrived. Futhermore, you were certainly aware that the place was partially furnished and I have emails to prove you were aware of this. We did have to rebook and you were very clear that you still wanted Mill Creek Painters to do the job although we we needed to rebook the painting to another week. You also stated at the time that the situation had been handled unprofessionally by the painters hired by Mill Creek Painters. As for covid being used as an excuse to not work at the home, myself and family were about to leave and your painters were aware of that, thus they would have had the whole top floor to themselves for the entire time they were present painting. The interaction with Mill Creek Painters was unpleasant, and is now even more exasperating as you now are writing a Google review response that, in my opinion, does not accurately represent what happened.
After being put off for a day and a half past our scheduled appointment a couple painters came out to our home and then left without saying a word. Finally got ahold of someone at the office to be told that the painters said "the job wasn't for them". It is a reno, so the walls are all brandnew, professionally drywalled, there was little to no patching needed, it was a very straight forward job. We fortunately found another company to come out, and they were hundreds of dollars cheaper. Would not recommend Mill Creek Painters.
