Sean’s team did a great exterior job on my 100-year old cedar shake home in Cathedral. They mitigated a bad paint job done years previously by a different company, which involved stripping the house right down, priming, and two coats of paint. My house glows now! The guys on the crew were courteous and tidy. Every night over a two-week job, they packed and stacked all of their materials and equipment for storage (I had space in my front porch to secure materials). Also, any time they spotted anything of concern on the house, from clogged downspouts to rot in the soffits, they let me know, and showed me exactly where the issue was for future repairs. Highly recommended. I will definitely be looking at Sernco for future work.

We hired Sernco for a residential painting job, that in addition to other rooms (with darker coloured walls that we were changing to alabaster white), included the area around a 20+ foot ceiling skylight and a child’s room that had no less than 50 holes from nails, pins, tacks, and pulled away paint from sticky tack. Sean, Terry and Kelly clearly knew what they were doing. Their painting was exceptional!! They were also very professional, respectful of property, and focused on the job, while also being very personable in their interactions with us. They also showed up when they said they would, used drop sheets end to end and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We have had a number of contractors over the years in our own home and our rental houses. In 35+ years, we can honestly say that Sean and his team were the easiest to work with, had exceptional customer service, provided quality workmanship, offered fair pricing (without sacrificing quality), and completed extra work (the dark walls needed an additional coat) within the established timelines. Sean and his crew did a very professional job. Sean responded with his estimate quickly, came on the day he said they would, performed quality work and though not painting the whole exterior of our older house, they treated the job as they would a larger one. They covered windows, wood and pipes coming from the house, used good quality paint, were cordial and pointed out problems on the house not pertaining to their job. I was totally pleased with the job done and would highly recommend Sean and his company Sernco Painting to anyone, and would use them again if I had another job to be done.
