(Translated) Interesting fresco but the nuns from the bookstore closed their access and can only be partially seen from the side. It is at the end of the main street.

(Translated) Produced in 2001 by Société MuraleCréation, the Fresco de Petit-Champlain is located at rue du Petit-Champlain, 102, illustrating the major stages of life in Cape Blanc, a port district located on the narrow strip of land between Cape Diamond and St. Lawrence . The fresco evokes the fishing and maritime trade activities that once animated this area of the city, as well as local residents, distinguished visitors and fictional characters. Among the historical figures, Captain Bernier is present, a great Quebec navigator, explorer of the North Pole. Lord Nelson, a British officer who fell in love with a Quebecker and was forcibly taken back to his boat by his crew members, appears there, or sail repairman Gustave Guay. The concerned wife of a sailor awaiting the return of her husband is represented. Major events in the history of the region are also discussed, such as the fire of 1682, the bombings of 1759 and 1889, landslides and other disasters that marked the Cap Blanc and Petit-Champlain area. Very cool photo op at the end of Rue de Petit Champlain. Be sure to stop in the small religious store right before you get to the mural. It's called Librairie Pere Frédéric. Very nice hand made figurines, etc made by the Catholic sisters at reasonable prices.

Interesting artwork. Most people just took a photo and walk away but take a moment to appreciate the details in the art. Ask yourself which ones are real bricks and which ones have been painted... Can you spot the difference?

(Translated) Another interesting mural that you have to see if you are visiting Quebec, the bad thing is that there is a fence and it makes it difficult to see the entire mural. It is located almost at the end of rue du Petit-Champlain. This mural reflects what life in Quebec was like in its beginnings, like other murals, it is worth seeing every detail and contemplating it for several minutes.

(Translated) Rue du Petit-Champlain is the most beautiful street in Lower Town. There are many small shops and bars here. I also saw the cycling jersey there, but it was too expensive for me. I also found another great mural here, Fresque du Petit-Champplain. It shows the working-class district from the beginning to the modern era.

(Translated) I liked it a lot. The pity is that you cannot have a good perspective of the entire work because of the fence that prevents your complete vision. It would be interesting if they agreed to remove it, which would facilitate obtaining better photographs.
