REVIEWS OF The Makerie Craft & Coffee Bar IN Prince George

Love love LOVE this place. I come here as often as humanly possible, including almost every Monday when they are closed which is sad when I must drive away lol. I'm a creature of habit and love me a good matcha latte with their ginormous chocolate chip cookies. Coming here is a complete treasure. Love love LOVE.

Lily Beigi

A really cute place to calm down with great coffee.

Rusty Shackleford

Likely the only manual espresso bar Northern BC, The Makerie offers a well made shot at a fair price. The interior is modern and the crafting dynamic adds a unique touch to an under served market in the north. Well worth a stop if you’re in town.

Christian Stevens

Very beautiful cafe, the atmosphere is inviting with their tasteful music. The Makerie is a place I recommend you check out.

Tyrel Jones

Don't buy anything from here!! Charging 5$/hr to stay and study. Support a different location that supports already struggling students and their education.

Bonnie Kerr

Cute little coffee shop where you can make crafts and treat yourself to handcrafted coffees.❤

tim caldwell

Cool place to go have a coffee type drink and visit.

MANBIR RANDHAWA

Great place to take friends and family for an evening of relaxing crafts. Whenever I want to treat my daughter, I take her here. The variety of crafts always makes me look forward to the next time I come. Lots of space between customers. Love this place.

Absolutely delighted at the effort that went into everything here. Great drinks, lovely atmosphere, cool staff, yummy cookies and quality crafts. I'm excited at the prospect of coming here in the future with my kids and working on crafts together.

Fantastic place to study, make something, or just chillax and have a drink. Although it is a coffee place primarily I don't drink coffee and was more then satisfied with their tea options. Heads up a lot of their drinks are quite sweet, …

The Makerie has typewriters too! Super cozy ambiance and such attention to details, it’s definitely a place to make part of your lifestyle. I look forward to a workshop soon, and the coffee is spot on!

Neat place and great customer service

When I read the name, I thought it meant Makeries Craft (as in beer) & Coffee Bar (as in pub). I was pleasantly surprised to learn that you can craft things here while you have a coffee. This place is so much fun. I recommend it to anyone that wants to pass some time while crafting something.

Tinagirl Travels

I love this place, such a cool coffee shop, I wish we had one in Kelowna! Great coffee, and baked items but my favourite is all the huge tables to work at and the writing station.

Andrea Makowichuk

Super cute location and great service! This place is an awesome addition to PG.

They really put a lot of care and detail into the atmosphere here. Everything is perfect. There's low/zero sugar options, alternative milk options, gluten free bakery items, etc. This is the first time I had a marochinno and the next day I brought my husband here just so he could try one too. Delicious drinks and great atmosphere.

Karissa Rutherford

Love the crafts and they've done an amazing job of adapting to COVID protocols.

Marc Posselt

The Makerie is the bee's knees! It's my wife's favorite place in the city, and I'm very fond of it also. The owner is such a sweet and wonderful person, and all of the treats and drinks that I've tried have been soooo freaking good. I took …

Andrea Petersen

Great latte, friendly service, and a very neat and welcoming space!

Hannah C

Super good drinks, awesome staff, great atmosphere. Not sure why people are surprised they charge to study, they need those tables for crafting?

Elizabeth Czechmeister

An inspiring and beautiful place to set yourself up for crafting, working or studying. Will be sure to go back again and again! Lots of plug ins, friendly staff and comfortable seating. Coffee was 10/10!

Meaghan Galloway

Such a great environment with great coffee! Everyone was really nice and welcoming and overall made it a great place to go see friends and study

Rachel Johnson

I had a couple hours to kill the other day and decided to check the Makerie out for the first time! It was so cute inside, and all of the "Craftenders" were so friendly and helpful! The "Christmacano" was delicious, and I had fun painting a flowerpot! Will definitely start visiting regularly for coffee and the occasional craft ❤️

Kathrine VanWeerthuizen

The pumping spice latte is to die for ♥️

S O (Shadestar)

Absolutely loved this place! Very friendly staff, and I loved seeing the art on the walls. Very interesting drinks too! I will be a returning customer for sure!????

I literally count the days till I am able to come back to the makerie. They are always doing fun events. Even they’re “anytime” crafts are so much fun. If I’ve had a rough week at work I can count on the makerie to make me feel better! …

Killer espresso. However I went there to study for midterms and was told I need to pay 5$/hour to study there?? I'm a student. I'm broke. Will be taking my studying and coffee habits elsewhere..

Marissa Baerg

This place is overflowing with creativity and beauty! I have never seen another company put so much effort into perfecting even the tiniest details! It is an experience just to go inside and look around! Plus, I have loved every drink I have had there!

Pineapple Tropical

This place is wonderful. Everything is perfect. Only thing that could be updated is more comfortable chairs.

Chris Quickfall

Amazing place to chill! The drinks are amazing!

Amanda Wong

Cute cafe. Very slow service. It wasn’t busy and there was only one person in front of me that got a coffee. Took me 20 mins to get my two drinks. The drinks were not worth the wait. The apple cider wasn’t even very warm

vmurt

Wow I am shocked by the good reviews. We had such a bad experience at this place. Staff were cold and rude, our drinks were bad (my matcha tea drink didn't even taste like matcha), and the cookie we bought was dry and slightly stale. Would not recommend at all. Many better options in PG.

Zach Hein

didnt do any crafts... but great americano thanks. My wife also had a pumpkin fancy something or other and said it was great. would definitely stop by for a coffee again if in the area

Markus E.

Atmosphere is ok, but everything seems scattered. Service ok. Coffee 5$ for a tiny cup? Far too over priced! If you want a gourmet coffee, stick to Starbucks or Second Cup.

Mike Currie

10/10 for the new patio. Would sit on it again.

Evan Smith

Great staff and fabulous coffee

Anna

Staff was so friendly and helpful when I was deciding on what drink to order. They recommended a “Jamaican sunrise” and I loved it! Also loved the tabletop s’mores. Will be back to craft one day!

Madison

It's a super cute Cafe!! Friendly staff and great snacks, can't wait to go again ????

Dan

Fantastic cafe. The "Marocchino" I had was amazing! Dessert was very good as well.

Seth Arthur

Nice coffee, good service. Spacious on the patios and clean bathrooms.

Byron Finkelstein

Great coffee and staff, except if you are studying here they charge you $5/hour after your first hour of being there. Would not recommend to students, or anyone trying to get some work done as there are tonnes of other cafes that let you study for free in Prince George.

Andrew Beuzer

This place kept my wife occupied a large chunk of the day. She made...

The Makerie hands down has the best staff. They are always so bright and bubbly and will answer any questions you have about the crafts, drinks, or treats!! The only thing better than their service would have to be their coffee, I find …
