Andre and his guys did a fantastic job on our 60 year old concrete pool. They had to grind off all the old paint, fill in all imperfections then paint. We had a small issue and when identified was fixed promptly and courteously. We highly recommend San Jose Painting....Bill & Marlene

☆☆All these 1 star accounts are frauds much like the Brittany schooly review.☆☆ We have not done any work for any of these fraud accounts. Brittany who's actually name is Melissa is the tenant at the residence that she pays rent to the property owner landlord who the contract to restore the pool was signed and dated by. Melissa "Brittany" her name was not in any contract form. She is not the project manager as we have our own on site project manager she is merely a tenant posing as owner. Her constant belligerent attitude towards all the trades men that came through the project was intolerable after the first 3 days. This lady is the 1 in a million that nobody can make happy, a natural complainer social media gossip queen. A danger to any tradesman or women. There were 11 different men, 3 trades on site and it was hard to get them to return. As professionals we bit our tongues and continued along as per contract. Which again she was not involved in other than to allow us permission to access the property. Headache after headache, constant weather txt updates, angry messages that the guys were sitting and eating a lunch. Constant pettiness. Finaly I drew the line and asked her not to txt day and night with weather updates and rain schedules as we already know these minor details and the business survives on nice weather. She didnt like that. You can tell that this lady tries to always be in control and at this time she is not in control, she's not the actual person she pretends to be. This is not her house she pretends like it is this is not her pool she pretends like she's the one paying for it as her social media posts show. Upon arrival today April 17th 2021 she greeted us on the patio within 6 feet and no mask, her and her husband. After expressing her concerns about the process I had to ask her as: per Ontario pool council guidelines, to please remain indoor for the remainder of the project which is only 72 hours away at this point. Currently 30 days on site. In the next upcoming 72 hours we were to complete the grout in hot tub and misc areas, finishing stone, 2 leaks and epoxy coat. She refused to put on a mask when asked and she refused to go back inside when asked. Five men were on site to witness this all five men were wearing masks we have it on video. It got to the point where I had to tell her I was calling by law if she did not put on a mask or go in the house the whole time under the 6 feet distance. She replied with she is calling the police because we said her business is a classic ponzi scam and she didnt like me raising our voice to her. Police show, cool fellas. . After speaking to me nice and calmly and I gave him the story they knew exactly where I was coming from. After seeing her explain her story through the glass door looking like a caged Gorilla flailing her arms in the air like she's swatting invisible flies. The police understood immediately what kind of karen they were dealing with. The same karen we dealt with for the past 30 days. Now shes in there yelling at the police as if they were one of our employees lol. Wish I would have video it. It looked so pathetic and low. After we have both spoken to the police they advised our company not to return to this address unless we have more than one worker who will act as a witness in case she tries anything funny. They could read her as easy as we could ,like a children's novel. On the way out we apologize to the police for wasting their time, this is the first time this ever happened and never thought it would, we shared some laughs and off they went. The one officer look back at me and said no problem, YOU didn't waste our time. We knew that she was going to be this type of client from the get-go ,tried our hardest to appease her and there was no making this lady happy whatsoever. But there's always that one in 100 , the 1 that ruins it for the rest, at least we get it over with at the first job of the season.Oh yeah I forgot to mention this renter also threatens her landlord with a lawsuit every 3 months since shes lived there.

Andre and his team were incredible. They communicate well, do amazing work and they were respectful of us and our neighbours all the way through. They stripped the old, falling apart pool, cleaned it all up and repainted it. They also ground all the grout from our tiles, re-grouted and cleaned them up to where it looks like brand new tile. They turned a 45 year old pool into a brand new pool. Thanks again!

I have known Andre and most of his team for years. I have had them paint my houses, business and my Moms house. His team has been trusted with keys to my home on more than one occasion, no issue. Two houses, two business locations and my own mothers place. Clearly I trust them. I have even done a job with them on a pool last year when I was looking for work. Solid people, great work, fair prices, great staff. This is a real review by someone who owns the houses, business and places Dre's team has worked, Unlike the horrible lies of the reviewer Britney and her fake crew, who don't even own the place the team was working on. Keep up the good work Dre and Team!

Very professionally done a steadfast example of dedication to service and hard work. On point professionalism and completely covid compliant all workers socially distanced and wore personal masks on break as well as sanitized and followed all protocol without even being asked all of their own accord even when I wasn’t there. Their remodelling of my pool made a 50 year old pool brand new so me and my family can enjoy an entire generation with this pool again Cannot say enough good things about his company. The owner the employees or the quality and professionalism displayed at the utmost level. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND NO ONE ELSE. ????????????????

Andres and his guys are consumate pros who take pride in their work. Our 50yr old 18x36 concrete pool was in much need of repair and paint. The process of draining, grinding off the old paint, removing/repairing the concrete that was hollow and repainting with epoxy paint took about 5 days. The work site was left totally clean, they came back to repair and paint tiny little pinhole leaks also to paint a safety stripe between the shallow end and the deep end. I recommend you book them early for the 2020 season as they are going to be busy. Thanks guys, great job! Keith & Rosalee

Andre and Team from San Jose, did a full pool restoration on my 50+ year concrete pool. Significant concrete work along with a full grind removal of 4+ layers of paint was performed. The pool was repainted and they worked the weekend to ensure that the work was completed in the least amount of time. The guys were respectful and made sure the site was clean when they left.

Just had my marcite pool resurfaced you San Jose pools. The work was done as promised on time and professionally. The work crews were responsive to any concerns and questions. The job was done right. All old paint was removed . Surface was acid washed. Top quality epoxy paint applied. This is a well operated company, workers are well trained. If you are looking to have your cement pool resurfaced definitely get an estimation from them.

WARNING!!!! We had to call them back to come and fix massive mistakes!! When I asked them to come back to fix the mistakes, they denied the issues and were extremely rude and aggressive. They started ignoring our calls and emails, and only responded back to call me "weak and pathetic". We have cracks all along the water line, the coping is uneven, and there are sharp pieces of concrete all over the pool that cuts our skin. I am so disappointed in this service. The owner has been so rude, using hateful words to both my husband and I, and his team was so aggressive to me when I was home alone that I felt scared for my safety.

I’m so happy with the work done by San Jose Pool Restoration. We have a Schwenker pool built in 1973 and it was in need of some love. The tiles and grout were crumbling and the “deal” I got on the last paint job lasted 4 seasons. They were patient with my constant feedback and professional in everything they did. I highly recommend this company.

I called San Jose Painting to have some work done on my pool. They were quick to respond to my request by saying they were unable to help me within the time period I needed the work done. I asked if they could sell me the materials I needed for my repair and they gave me all the information and instructions needed and where to purchase the material I needed to be able to complete the job on my own. I would recomend them highly.

Andre and his team did a great job with my pool, they acid washed and did an epoxy paint for me and basically turned it into a brand new pool! we chose royal blue and we are very pleased with the results. they were kind, considerate, and clean. we will definitely be booking with them when it comes time to paint the pool again in the distant future.

A year later the paint started coming off onto our feet and hands, this past year the concrete repairs started failing and chunks fell off into the water. If have a list of emails and texts with the owner Andres where he claimed he would honour the job and fix it. My last communication has yet to be responded to. After 2 seasons of ignoring our requests to follow up and rectify the shoddy workmanship, we are now exploring legal action. In the long run I unfortunately doubt this guy will honour his written commitment. I feel like we were scammed by a snake oil salesman. Lesson learned. My recommendation is to stay away from this company and any company this guy is involved with.

BEWARE!!! My sister was getting their pool resurfaced by these folks when I was over at her house. I was inside the house with her kids and I could hear the workers screaming at her. She came inside the house crying and shaking, she was traumatized. After they were finished the job, we all noticed tons of problems. The owner is refusing to fix it and he said the warranty will not hold up. He told them that they can't sue him because he's Incorporated. He called them names ("sad, weak, and was making fun of their marriage) It was disturbing to hear. They still don't have their pool resurfaced properly and the company is refusing to fix the problem. They are devastated and it hurts me to see them go through such verbal abuse and wasted their hard earned dollars.

Back at my old house (since moved) I had asked San Jose to come look at my pool (built in late 90's) to give it some tlc the guy came out to look at it and was a straight shooter and upfront about what needed to be done and helped point things out that should be done to avoid any problems in the future. In the spring the San Jose Painting team took my old, tired, and to be frank ugly concrete pool and made it look brand new! My backyard went from being embarrassing to the feature of my yard. The team was professional, polite, quick and do fantastic work. I can't recommend this company enough. But the best thing is San Jose Painting did all the work I was told would cost over $25,000 for less than $10,000. If you need your pool re-done don't bother calling anyone else, give San Jose a call.

Absolute worse job and experience ever. Workers are rude and disrespectful. Hired the company to do our pool and jacuzzi and they did the worst job I've ever seen in my life. No idea how this company has so many good reviews. We attempted to peacefully talk to them and ask them to fix it and they told us to tell someone who cares. The owner and supervisor showed up at my house to berate and scream at my mother. We had to call the police to have him removed because he refused to stop. THEY CONCRETED OVER MY JACUZZI JETS. The job was absolutely botched. We lease the house and we hired them but, the owner is paying for it. The owner left us in charge because he's not local but despite being told MANY times to work with us and go through us by the owner they refused, EVEN THOUGH WE HIRED THEM. The whole time they were doing the job they didn't contact the owner or me to go over anything BUT they lied and told us they were going through the owner of the house the WHOLE TIME. When we asked the owner he said he hasn't heard from them other then telling them it's done and perfect and to come pay. THE POOL ISNT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING DONE STILL. Every time we spoke to him before the contract was signed he asked to use our pool for the cover of their website and if they could take a picture of our dog jumping into the pool for the website because it was going to be "perfect" but now, that we pointed out the awful job that they're doing the owner of their company said if I post anything on social media that he'll sue us for defamation and slander.
