Josh is an excellent painter. He's very conscientious about his work. He cuts in by the ceilings and baseboards so well there is no paint where it shouldn't be. Josh also is careful to check his surfaces after painting to ensure there are no imperfections or areas that need a touch up. He painted our basement washroom; working around a claw foot tub, a shower, sink and toilet, as well as the foyer in the basement and furnace/laundry room. The last was quite a job since it's a small room with pipes and wires, a furnace, a water softener, a water heater, washer and dryer, shelves and a sink. To make the job even harder, two walls were new drywall that had been prepared but not painted and two walls were cinder block that needed a special paint to seal them. He cheerfully did a wonderful job!...not one I wanted to tackle! I would hire him in an again in an instant... and I will be! He also paints garage doors with a special paint and a sprayer which I am going to have him do when the weather is better for outside painting. Josh is a true professional about his work. He washed all the walls and woodwork down first with commercial cleaner. Then he filled any cracks and holes and corrected any imperfections. He uses masking tape and puts drop sheets on all the floors and anything that remains in the room. His painting skill is impeccable and 1st class. Josh painted 5 rooms in total. He is the best bang for your buck you could ever get. We have recommended him to 3 other people who have already booked him, knowing that we are very fussy and particular about the quality of work we get done. We have a neighbor who hired one of those guys who advertises..."any room $100." If you want the window trim done?...that's extra...baseboards? ...that's extra. Door trim?...that's extra...The door too?...extra! The guy painted the room, was there for just over 3 hrs. and handed her a bill for $300. and she supplied all the paint. Later when she went in to look at his work, she was appalled and furious with the job he did. Paint runs and cracks and holes from previous pictures everywhere. Now after seeing the work done by Josh at "ERB PAINTING" she wants to book him to correct this mess. So folks, as the old saying goes..."YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR". Josh may not be the cheapest around....but he's also not the most expensive. However, for the quality of the workmanship verses the price you pay, I doubt you'd find better value for your money ANYWHERE! Last year I had previously hired Josh for some parging work on our foundation and was impressed with his work, so we booked him for painting during the winter months. So far he's the best kept secret around.

He repaired cracks and holes on the walls. We had expected him to just paint,.. that was a nice surprise for sure. Clean,tidy and very efficient. The price was excellent!!! You won't be disappointed!!
