University painters painted the exterior of our house and we were very pleased with their work and will gladly recommend their services. This is a solid family business that strives to meet customers’ expectations. They were reasonably priced, and honest. Their painter, Ray, knew what he was doing, had good work ethics, showed up on time and, more relevantly, when weather did not permit exterior painting work, he gave heads up. We did not like the white stain on our window frames, and one phone call later, Ray showed up on a Saturday morning and made it right. Will gladly hire them again, and so should you. Good job well done!

We had University Painters paint our downstairs hallways and upstairs landing which involved painting a two-story open section about 15 feet high. In three days Fabio did some crack filling and other gyproc fix ups, primed everything that needed priming and put on two coats on walls, ceiling, trim and doors (7 of them). Fabio also was unfailingly positive, friendly and helpful - we're super-happy. University Painters had also recommended Denis Kasprowicz of Oasis Building Services to modify the hall closet for us, replacing floor to ceiling sliding doors with by-folds. Denis was also super to work with and did a great job before Fabio came to do the painting.

We had a bedroom, kitchen, and exterior doors painted and were very happy with the results. The kitchen in particular had some grease stains they were able to deal with so that you can't tell they were ever there! There were imperfections on the walls to patch and little dimples on the door frame that you can't see because of the great repair work they did. We also like that they offer a low VOC paint and that we were able to have the paint samples to decide on colours in advance.

His work is very professional, he communicates any possible issues , responded to all our questions and completed the job in a very timely manner. The house looks fantastic, I couldn’t be more pleased . Also of note was the great job Jimmy McLeary did coordinating the project. He was also very responsive and helped me out when I decided last minute to add a few extra jobs to the scope of work. Great team work from both Ray and Jimmy!

I hired this company to paint the exterior of my house + my deck. Great rates and high quality workmanship. My painter was Ray Larente who did an excellent job. Because we're in July, there were a lot of days of rain and high humidity during the week, but weekends would be nice and less humid. I was impressed that Ray came on the weekend to finish the work. Very happy with the results, will use this company again when my house needs to be re-painted.

When Jim Cleary came to offer an estimate I was leery as I had used another painting company and had a very bad experience. Jim was a professional all the way and left me with a sense of confidence that this was the company I should have gone with in the first place. They're trying to rip you off and take advantage of you at every step. Their prices are inflated, and their staff is unprofessional at best: - Hold their mobile phone in one hand and chatting with someone and paint with another, all during 5+ hours - Don't cover the furniture/floor, so lots of dust and expensive cleaning afterwards - Leave paint marks on the hardwood and furniture - Quality of painting is terrible Their sales staff is very good and pushy, but they don't live up to their promises - not even close. A company like that shouldn't be in business.
