Very professional, very beautiful work. My son's portrait turned out perfect. Splurge and get the gallery glass on something special because it really makes such a difference. Have returned to have prints framed and they turned out spectacular as well. Wouldn't go anywhere else! Highly recommend!

We took the day to visit various stores for art and decor, and went out of our way to shop here. There was a note on the door that said it was closed for the weekend. Their hours on Google wasn't updated to say closed (owners can do this), their social media pages didn't have a post, and their website wasn't updated either. There was literally no way we would have known unless we called, but people generally dont call stores to ask if they are open especially when we checked online. What a waste of time. I know businesses get upset when they receive a low review on Google, but this was a genuine disappointment for us that could have been prevented by being proactive with your online presence.

SUPER FAST service and accommodating! I rushed in on Monday with an urgent framing request and with their shipment for frames coming in on Wednesday, time was of the essence. Fortunately, the frame was ready to present in front of the Governor General of Canada that Thursday morning. Thank you FRAMING & ART CENTRE!! Highly recommend.

Truly it is rare to find someone who not only takes pride in their work but is exceptionally good at it too. Tom is that person. I have brought in many items to be framed, ranging from war medals to coins and various paintings. I've even brought in hand-painted eggs and very old photographs in their original cases for framing. Tom and his staff have a real talent for matching frames and colours. They skillfully framed the more challenging items I brought in. Thanks Tom !

I had purchased 3 separate canvas pieces which made up the cityscape of Detroit Michigan and turns out one of the owners grew up in Windsor. I brought them in to be stretched originally. However after getting a second opinion Framing and art recommended to do a thin frame instead of stretching. Boy am I glad we did! I couldn't be happier with the result! I will always go back here for any framing needs, plus let's all support local!

I have been going to Framing & Art on Merivale Road for over 10 years and won't go anywhere else for custom framing. When I go in, I'm treated as a friend. The knowledge, craftsmanship and price is unbeatable. Tom and Nathalie are awesome (sorry if I misspelled your name Nathalie). They can take an ordinary item and make it look awesome. They also take great pride in their work and it shows. I say again, I won't go anywhere else for custom work.

I can see that there are many positive reviews and I respect that this is a long-standing business, but unfortunately I did not enjoy my recent customer service experience at this store (I have never been before and it was my first time). I brought a couple of diplomas to be framed along with another diploma that was already framed by the university, and to my surprise, the lady became very upset. Before I even had a chance to explain, she kept repeating several times that she will be unable to match the frame and the background exactly to the one that was issued by the university. But that was not even my goal - of course, it would be nice if all diplomas ended up looking more or less similarly styled, but of course I understand that a perfect replica of the frame might be difficult to re-create and I would have never demanded that in the first place. It’s almost as if she pre-conditioned her mind that what I wanted was impossible to accomplish, even if I was not demanding the impossible. She ended up looking through the numerous background colours that she had and she actually found some shades that I liked, but she kept saying how they don’t match exactly. It seems that she might have had a difficult client in the past and is now projecting on other customers. If I worked in that store, I don’t think that I would be surprised that someone wants to frame their diplomas similarly. I will not be investing my money in this place. It might be a suitable option for art, but not for my type of situation.

We had a very special piece that we wanted to frame and protect for my father that belonged to his father. He was orphaned during the war and this is the only possession of his father's that he has. I went into the store looking for advice on how to frame this piece and spoke with the Kris, owner of the store who was extremely helpful. She did a wonderful job and my father loved it. Would highly recommend this store.

I visited for the first time in the Fall, with 8 art prints for framing, and Anne Marie helped me select an assortment of frames that were unique & fit within my budget. I was so pleased with them, and my gallery wall looks great! Even during a pandemic, I trusted them to frame two more prints, and Kris selected lovely & affordable frames for me; I picked them up just today and again, am so very pleased! I wouldn't trust my art with anyone else. Highly recommended!

Great job done! I brought in a watercolour painting that I made and they did a wonderful job framing it for pickup that same day. They were very friendly and were able to squeeze me in with short notice as I was sending it off as a gift - excellent customer service! They have many frames available if you need something done in a short period of time and are able to customize to your needs if what you want isn’t on display. They were so helpful with finding the right size and making sure my painting would look great in the right frame. I will definitely be back.

I have used Framing and Art Centre many times over close to a decade. They have always been very helpful and professional. The prices are reasonable, compared to many others in Ottawa. Most recently, I selected a mat, that in the end, just didn't work. They replaced it at no cost - even though it was my mistake!
