I can see that there are many positive reviews and I respect that this is a long-standing business, but unfortunately I did not enjoy my recent customer service experience at this store (I have never been before and it was my first time). I brought a couple of diplomas to be framed along with another diploma that was already framed by the university, and to my surprise, the lady became very upset. Before I even had a chance to explain, she kept repeating several times that she will be unable to match the frame and the background exactly to the one that was issued by the university. But that was not even my goal - of course, it would be nice if all diplomas ended up looking more or less similarly styled, but of course I understand that a perfect replica of the frame might be difficult to re-create and I would have never demanded that in the first place. It’s almost as if she pre-conditioned her mind that what I wanted was impossible to accomplish, even if I was not demanding the impossible. She ended up looking through the numerous background colours that she had and she actually found some shades that I liked, but she kept saying how they don’t match exactly. It seems that she might have had a difficult client in the past and is now projecting on other customers. If I worked in that store, I don’t think that I would be surprised that someone wants to frame their diplomas similarly. I will not be investing my money in this place. It might be a suitable option for art, but not for my type of situation.
