Ordered paint over telephone and was asked whether I wanted mid-grade, better or top grade. I said mid-grade and I wanted a matte finish. Was not informed that mid-grade (BEN) product does not come in matte finish. Was given flat in the colour I selected. Started to paint touch up on existing matte in same colour and difference was immediately noticeable. Called to ask about mix-up and was told that matte and flat are same product. Made to feel foolish and not offered any resolution. Had I been told that BEN product does not come in matte finish, I would have ordered Regal. Wasn't given that opportunity.

Housser's has been a staple in the Orillia area for many years carrying the Benjamin Moore brands of paint. Wide selection of paints and supplies for any of your renovation needs. Benjamin Moore is a great paint brand but is definitely pricy. The old adage you get what you pay for certainly applies. The staff at the store are generally great to deal with and have lots of knowledge in colours and options for your next paint job. They also have a great understanding of what brand is the best for wood, metal, bathrooms, etc. Would definitely recommend you stop in prior to your next paint job.

Purchased wall paper and the clerk indicated you could return it if unused and in original wrapper. Also the invoice I had, indicated was returnable if it’s a double roll only.They changed the invoice on their copy indicating “No returns” When I brought 2 rolls back They wouldn’t accept the return. When I complained they charged a restocking fee of 25%.On the invoice I had the restocking charge was nothing. Very under handed I wouldn’t recommend them
