I was then connected with Norm, who worked with me to schedule the logistics of the paint and painters. He is very kind, patient and knowledgeable. Michelle and Jacob were our painters and they did an excellent job! They were very respectful, friendly, quick and skilled and our walls look amazing! Unfortunately very disappointing experience. Very unprofessional staff, initial paintjob was very poorly done and required a complete do over and effectively stranding our house in the " prepared for painting" state. Had to hire cleaners to clean carpets after the job was done. Wasted a lot of time and energy trying to get them to fix the issues. In the end painters showed up and just painted all my hardware black and claimed all is fixed and dandy. I still have left over stains all around my house. Demanded to be paid in full for basically turning my house into cheap hotel look a like. Absolutely would not recommend.

Sloppy employees , poor quality paint work , painted over every piece of my woodwork trim ( many pictures taken to prove ) , painted light fixtures and vent covers instead of masking off and being careful . Paint is light on walls and can see old paint through it , Weird sloppy brush strokes that were maybe wiped with a rag after paint applied , We asked for restitution and a half hearted effort was made on round 2 to less than satisfy me . Needs to hire better or check up on employees work . No I didn"t price shop as I know you are supposed to get what you pay for . This wasn't cheap

Forest City Painters did a great job on our house, at a reasonable price. Our last paint job was about 15 years ago, and it was done. These guys did our house in three days with a team of three painters. They were polite, friendly and professional, obviously taking great pride in their work. We got several quotes, and while they weren't the lowest, they were well under some of the others, by about 40%. They were the ones to call back promptly and get the job done - courtesy and professionalism are pretty important to us. Highly recommended!

My wife and I hired forest city twice now. The first time to paint the exterior of our home last summer. And the second time being last week painting our kitchen and living room. We had the pleasure of dealing with Keith. He was very knowledgable and took the time to provide an impressivly detailed quote and answer all our questions. Rayon and Jessica were professional and highly detail oreintated, ensuring the job was of utmost quality. In terms of quality of service and cost, Forest City will always be my go to.

Thought we were getting professional paint job. Got a sub contractor who was less than professional. Lazy.(Dan or Daniel) Showed up late, left early and tonnes of breaks. A couple days of work turned into over 2 weeks. Lied to us. 1 coat wonder with touch ups when we paid for 2 coats. Brush strokes, start and stop areas. Moe the production manager came out and agreed and said would be fixed right. Dan came back and did some more touch ups. Said he was done. Company sent bill. I would not pay until other areas were fixed. Again just some touch ups not the 2nd coat. We will have to repaint a whole wall ourselves. We paid bill in full but would never recommend to anyone.

Excellent work by Forest City Painters! The team did the exterior painting on our house that has the Tudor boards and battens. The roof has the typically steep pitch and this job was not easy, but they had it done, and beautifully, in 3-4 days, including rotted board replacements. The house just pops through the trees now when you see it from a couple of blocks away. Such a professional group of people. This is the second time they have done outstanding work for us and I highly recommend FCP!

My husband and I hired Forest City Painters to paint the main living area and 2 bedrooms in our 1920’s home. Normally we would tackle the job ourselves, but with me being 7 months pregnant with twins this wasn’t possible. Dave was quick to meet with me and quote the job. We were then referred to Norm who coordinated the scheduling. We appreciated that they were able to accommodate our somewhat rushed timeline. Michelle was excellent to work with. Her design advice was helpful in assisting us with selecting a colour for our main living area. Admittedly, the paint on the walls does look good. Despite how well things started off, we were left disappointed with the overall experience. The workers did not arrive when scheduled (one day they arrived 45 mins early, and the next, an hour late) making it hard to plan our days. Although we were assured that the workers would use drop cloths and/or take off their wet, muddy footwear this was not the case. Our hardwood floors and new area carpet were walked on by the workers with little regard for our space. We paid extra money to have white trim painted in the bedrooms. Several spots were missed after the first day and there was paint dripping from the window trim. When brought to the attention of the workers, they assured us it would be fixed. Yet, after the workers indicated they were finished with the job and left, we noticed additional drip marks, incomplete paint coverage, and paint on the doors. We escalated our concerns to Norm who had the production manager, Moe, visit our home to inspect the work. Moe agreed that additional care and attention needed to be given to the trim work and he instructed his worker to make the necessary repairs. Moe then offered to clean up the paint drips on the floor and on the doors. I was completely shocked to discover that Moe used one of my expensive face cloths to do this cleaning! The site was not adequately cleaned at the end of each work day, mostly due to the mud that was tracked into our home. At the end of it all, our floors were still not cleaned, pieces of painter’s tape were left balled up on the floor, and there were paint drips on our hardwood. Again, we provided Forest City with an opportunity to make this right, however, they explained to me that they do not wash floors. They did indicate that their workers should not be wearing outside footwear in our home, but nothing was done to rectify this. At the end of it all, my husband and I spent two hours washing floors and scraping paint drips off the floor where drop cloths were not used. We made Forest City aware of this added hassle and were offered $100 off our final invoice. We were told this was more than fair for the inconveniences we endured. Overall, we are very disappointed with the lack of respect that was displayed for our home and our possessions, especially from a professional company that touts integrity and service.

The estimate took place in a timely fashion; the crew arrived and organized/executed the job independently, and the rooms look beautiful. The crew cleaned up every night so we came home to a spotless house which we really appreciated. The only downside was a last minute cancellation in the crew’s arrival one day…but that was a minor inconvenience. This was a 5 star experience for us.

I called numerous painting businesses in London to get information/rough estimates for a significant painting job (3/4 of a house). Each business I contacted was friendly and professional, with this one exception. My interaction over the phone with Forest City Painters left me shaking my head. The person who took my call was frankly rude and unhelpful throughout the interaction; I wondered if she was an employee or a contracted centralized call center rep, because there was clearly no motivation on her end to secure me as a customer. For example, I had thoroughly looked over the website (which advertises 'Contact Us' with the phone number in several locations) and was calling with a few questions that couldn't be answered on the website. The receptionist responded to three questions with, "Go check the website". When I explained that I had, she replied, "Yeah, then I can't help you." Needless to say, we did not use this company and won't be seeking them out in the future.

I am extremely happy with the results from Forest City Painters. They painted my living room, dining room, entrance way, and my up stair hallway. It had been painted a very dark colour when I bought the house and I wanted it changed to a light cream colour... I was very surprised they had got it all done in only 1 day! They had to prime and also repair some nail damage before they could even start to paint.... But, when I returned home and the end of my work day it was all DONE and they were just cleaning up. They had covered all my furniture and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely be using them again for painting my other rooms and will highly recommend to anyone that needs any painting done.
