We were looking for a quote to paint the whole interior of our house. We found Walls Alive online and read the reviews. Everything looked ok so we decided to contact Paul. I called Paul Thursday April 8th to set up a quote. Paul responded immediately and we set up an appointment for the following day at 1:30pm. By 2:30pm Paul had not yet arrived. I texted him and he indicated he was 10 minutes away. Another hour went by and he finally showed up. He told us that he was having issues with his payroll and could not do the quote today. We said ok, and agreed that he should resolve his issue and we could reschedule our quote. Before he left we agreed that he would call us Sunday morning and arrange a time to come over that afternoon. Sunday came and went with no call from Paul. I texted him twice that day with no response. On Monday I attempted to call him, there was no answer and I left a voice message. On Tuesday I emailed Paul asking if everything was alright. I was a bit concerned at this point. He emailed me back saying that he had a family issue to deal with on Sunday and that’s why he did not get back to us as we had agreed. He then said that he would call us in two days (Thursday) to set up a time for our quote. Thursday came and went with no call from Paul. Five more days have passed since then, and we are done with Paul. I guess he thinks his time is more valuable than ours. Do yourself a favour if you are considering Walls Alive and choose another company that actually cares about their customers. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional contractor. A complete waste of time.

They did a great job painting my home. It was quick and well done! I'm please! Update: after a week or 2 of been painted.... we could see across the paint the old marks behind the fresh paint. I mean I’ve paid over 1k for one floor and 2 coat paint for the sell of my home and was a little unsatisfied when I could see some water or grease marks behind the new paint in the kitchen and dining area. Also in one area there was a bubble that eventually the paint came off. My guess is that they didn’t use primer or paint with primer and that’s unfortunate with the price that I’ve paid. I could also see a bunch of little paint drop on my wood floor that I’ve had to remove by hand. This still doesn’t remove the fact that the painting job was well done and fast but I do remove stars now because of the quality. I guess I needed to pay more for quality? Not sure. But hey it did what I needed in order to put my house for sell. Still no regrets.

We had these guys quote on a big job of wallpaper removal and painting of our entire house based on Brian Baehmler's 'approval' . What an experience ! The entire time they walked around our house they would actually make us feel bad because it was a big job. Almost as if they were angry '.. there is still more? What alot of work....' We actually felt bad about our house after they left. The main guy has such an ego too. But the best part was the quote -$10 K over the nearest competing bid from a reputable company with great ratings (over 9/10 and 200 reviews on homestars) and this quote did not even include the wallpaper removal!!! Plus their quote was only one number- there was no breakdown whatsoever so you have no idea why the cost is so high. Unreal. Suffice to say we did not go with these guys. I would recommend against it ... UPDATE: the other painting company finished the job and did terrific work- we even had them do other painting jobs within the house that we were not planning. All this including wallpaper removal, and still less than these guys original quote. Our house feels like it is brand new.

The whole experience was fantastic. Lil is a joy to deal with and we had a bit of a time issue. Lil was able to help us by scheduling Krystian to come on a Saturday. We are very grateful. Paul brought his painters Gus and Leo last Thursday and quoted the job to paint most of our big home with 3 storeys above ground.
