Was friendly, at first. Had to ask him to patch wholes in wall after he completed the first coat. I am still cleaning paint of my flooring and counters. He broke my window without notifying me and did not realize until a week after when it was too late.

George is a very personable fellow and highly professional making him easy to deal with. Ayear ago we had most of our upstairs painted and most recently (Sept/18), we had our inside back entrance, basement halls and family room painted. His prices are competitive, the job starts the day he tells you it will and on time and there is never anything left to clean up. He was very gracious about any touch ups I felt needed to be done and did them right away. The other painter that was with him is Ray and he also did a great job. Would not hesitate to call him again!

We got Proper Colour Painting off of WagJag for a very good price. I was told that for the bedroom I wanted painted that I would only need 1 gallon of paint. I purchased 1 gallon but when the guy came, he right away said we needed a second can. My husband rushed out and purchased another can. That second can wad never opened so there goes $40 down the drain. After the job was done, the guy washed all of his things in our bathtub and spilled some paint on our bath mat. I also found later that there was paint on our front door as well as some of the baseboards in the painted room. Just a little disappointed.

I hired Proper Color Painting to paint the outside of my house, including the front door and shutters. They came within a couple weeks and completed the job on time. The painting itself looks okay. The clean up was terrible. It was a couple days after they finished I was mowing my lawn and noticed blue paint on the tires of the lawn mower. Next I saw blue paint on my cats paws. Upon looking closer I saw they had dumped a lot of blue paint in my garden and on the grass. Sticking my finger into the paint, with my garden gloves on, I realized there was quite a lot of paint there. There was also paint on my garden hose and splashes on the fence. I would never use them again and feel taken advantage of

The job was estimated to take 1-2 days, but was done in a day. Very pleased with the service and the price. We also made some last minute alterations, sent some pictures and extra requests, it was done without question or quibble, Would highly recommend.

George and his crew, were technically very good painters, but I did have some concerns, that unfortunately brought the overall experience down. I had contracted Proper Colour to paint 3 areas in my home. They quoted on a "coat to cover" basis, and not on a certain number of coats. To me, it was rushed. Though they did a good job, there were areas, that were under painted, that required George to send someone back to finish. One of the ceilings was left half untouched. I had asked the painters to arrive wearing masks, due to the current pandemic, and when I arrived home, some 2 hours after they started, both he and his assistant were not. Too late to do something at that point. Finally, they do not use drop cloths. I spent about an hour on the floor over the weekend, scraping paint splatter off the floor. That should not happen. Like I said, they are technically great painters, but just wish they had taken more time, to do the job fully, neater, and not so rushed. Not sure that I would use them again, as a result.

Proper Color Painting was the right choice for our paint project George, the owner was very generous with his time answering all our questions. The Estimate package was the the most detailed and comprehensive we received and the pricing reasonable . We were impressed that George paints with his crew, he clearly loves what he does. George assisted us with the most important decision, paint colours. We followed his advice and purchased paint samples for the wall and trim that we liked and painted them side by side. This allowed us to be confident in our selection.,highly recommend doing this. The project was completed on time and George cane back to do some touch up. We are Extremely pleased with the final result, our home looks like New again!
