Something very special happens when a gift is handmade! This is the 2nd Christmas I was lucky enough to receive a Crackpot personalized tree ornament. Last year were adorable mittens and sox as place markers on thé Christmas table, each one had a guests name beautifully hand written on it. When I hung ours on my tree this year I was instantly swept back to that warm happy gathering. Glorious! This year we unexpectedly received an elegant ornament with our new granddaughters name and birth! Thanks to Wilma and her Crackpot team - these are timeless and so well done - will be treasured for years to come. Handmade is the best :)

I've been going to crack pot studio for probably 20 years (since they were at their old location closer to the marina) staff is always amazing. Laid back atmosphere. My kids love going with me, but I also enjoy going for some quiet time by myself :)

It was my first time at Crack Pot Studio and I had so much fun! The studio space inspires creativity and the staff are all super kind and helpful. I am from out of town and was leaving in less than 3 days after painting my pot, and I had asked the owner if there was any way they could have my art dried/ fired before I left (this was a tall ask, as the process takes some time, however..)- They made it happen! I am so pleased! This pottery painting studio is amazing and I cannot wait to go there again the next time I’m in town :)

We take our girl guides here every other year or so and the ladies who run our group when we visit are always so amazing! They are very talented and helpful when we have any questions!! I would definitely recommend for any group activities like birthday parties or school trips!

Really great experience! All the staff are super sweet and helpful, especially if this is your first time painting pottery. It does take a week to get your potter once it’s dry and glazed, so that’s something to keep in mind. I took my friend a week before her birthday so we could do the painting together, and then she’d get the pottery by her birthday. Also very therapeutic!

I came to do a drop in session and I wasn’t disappointed. Very friendly staff welcomed us and explained every little detail about painting the items we chose to make sure they came out perfect. I ended up choosing a small bowl to paint. About $20 in total including the piece itself, paints, glazing, and firing. Absolutely loved the experience and ended up spending nearly 3 hours there. I would 10/10 visit again!

They have a variety of options: you can walk in and paint per made clay figures, you can book kid's birthday room, you can also book a session on.the.potty wheel. It is a fun activity and there are often a number of families in enjoying it. The staff is friendly, and cheery.

Had fun at christmas time. Love the freedom you have to select your own colours/paints etc. Items are not the cheapest for a family (you could look for the reduced items I guess) but the end result was quick to get back and looked great.

This place is awesome! Such friendly staff and great facility. My sister and I came for the pottery wheel workshop and loved it! Great instruction, learned so much and had a lot of fun. And you get to paint your pieces that you make. Definitely would do this again.

Had a wonderful time throwing some clay and made some unique creations! We did a two hour workshop and went right into the techniques with no time to waste! William was awesome at giving us tips and was very patient with us. We can’t wait to come back to paint our pieces and see the final result after being glazed! The Crack Pot was clean, organized, and overall is a cute looking place. It's a good place to take kids of any ages, and offers many camps and programs in the summer. We will definitely be back.

We tried a paint at home kit during lockdown and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. The website made it easy to select the pieces and choose paint colours. The kits were available very quickly and packaged very nicely with all the tools necessary for a great home painting experience. I came here with my girlfriend for her birthday and we had a great experience here together. I didn't know how enjoyable this was going to be until we tried it out! They had a wide selection of pre made pottery designs for you to paint and lots of color options for painting the piece the way you would like it. Had a blast, would highley recommend this to anyone of all ages who has an artistic side in themselves they would like to explore. Attended a pottery wheel workshop today with my son. What a delightful experience. So enjoyable because all of the staff are so welcoming and the place has such a good vibe, very relaxing. Wilma, the owner, makes everyone feel comfortable and she creates a peaceful atmosphere where people of all ages can explore their creativity. Cathleen, who teaches classes in the clay studio, has a passion for working with clay that is contagious. I have loved exploring this clay world. It is a wonderful place to go to escape the stresses in your life. All the staff are wonderful too.
