Quaint little souvenir shop, many articles in the shop are from many local artists. Always a bonus when the locally produced products are in your shop. The prices are modest. We bought a glass lighthouse cutting board, and will displaying it proudly in our home. The next time we are out this way we will have to stop by for another visit and see what the store has to offer.

Annapolis Royal is another quaint Nova Scotia town, and we had fun with a local well known artist, Ed "Tripp" Parimeter, ex-commercial fishing boat captain, full of stories about the Bering Sea. We chatted the afternoon away. Last 2 we paintings I posted we purchased. The Parimeters' are a nice, sweet and friendly couple with plenty of paintings and art work to choose from. There are actually TWO galleries by Tripp, one is just a few metres down the street from the other, but both are on the main St.George Street. This one is: Tripp's Art Gallery - (324 St.George Street) This is the art gallery that showcases many local painters, each with their own definitive style. Tripp has his painting studio right up front and you might even catch him there painting away by the window. They have paintings off all different sizes and prices. In the case that you want to buy a big painting, but have no way to get it home, they offer free shipping worldwide. The one down the street is: Tripp's Handmade Gallery - (268 St.George Street) This shop is curated with locally made crafts and gifts, but everything is under $150, which is nice for anyone visiting on a budget! There is literally everything you could imagine here, all made by local creatives. We saw greeting cards, beeswax, art, magnets, wood carvings, jewelry, stained glass and more.
