I like the nscad art supply store because it has stuff that real artists are using for their projects. It's got lots of good pencils, pens , paints and brushes, papers cloth paints, supplies for pottery and and things I've never heard of. The staff has always been helpful and friendly.

They don't seem to answer the phone at 3 pm on a Tuesday and have no web site to check what they stock. Otherwise, I have found the shop charming, but parking difficult, hence the need to phone first, when looking for a specific item. Also I wonder - do they give a discount if you are enrolled in a NSCAD course?

It's my wife's birthday and she wants paint supplies, So after using Google maps we discovered NSCAD. We drove there, but couldn't find parking so we drove around the corner and still couldn't find parking. So we went instead to Michael's which has a huge parking lot and spent 300 bucks...
