We moved into our home 2 months ago and were not happy with the colours on the walls... every room was a different colour! We knew we had to paint the entire house and we knew it wouldn't be cheap, but we also knew it would be too much work to do ourselves. We called around to different places, and although Painters Plus wasn't the cheapest quote we got, there was something about the way they treated us that made us feel comfortable to go with them. So, we hired Painters Plus to paint the interior of our entire home (minus the inside of our closets). They started almost right away. At first, we omitted the window trims and doors, but decided at the last minute to add this to the work they already agreed to. Karin and her staff were very accommodating and had no issues in adding the additional work. Deciding to have our home painted during a worldwide pandemic came with its own share of worry and doubt, but the crew came into our home making us feel safe by wearing masks and very seldom took them off, unless they stopped to have a bite to eat or drink. The crew was very professional, detail oriented and accommodating, especially with me working from home. They allowed me to work in my office without interruptions and left the room I was working in until the very end. They worked endlessly, tirelessly and always with a smile on their faces. You could tell they enjoy their jobs. We would highly recommend Painters Plus to any of our friends and family, and to anyone out there who wants quality work at a reasonable price. Thank you Karin, the staff and crew of Painters Plus for making our house feel like a home.

Be sure to specifically include in your Quote/Contract the use of drop clothes over flooring and furniture - which I thought was an industry standard. Unless, of course, you'd like to spend days like I did with turpentine and a chisel removing and scraping paint off wood floors and furniture, ceramic tile floor, leather sofas, etc. I gave them a 3 Star because I love the colour I chose and for no other reason.

This company was the first vendor we booked for a price quote consultation among a few other companies, and unfortunately, they were the last to provide a quote, because they missed our appointment the first time. We had to follow up whether the estimator was coming in or not. That's when we were told the appointment was cancelled. We were then rescheduled for an appointment, for which Karin was an hour late. Because we had a rigid timeline, we couldn't afford to take chances on an unreliable company to do our painting job. Unexpectedly, we decided to paint our two properties, instead of just one. You snooze, you lose, as the saying goes. Lack of communication and tardiness - not a good first impression at all, and definitely does not look good on the company. In addition, the communication during the consultation with Karin was quite challenging.

Work was performed in a clean and professional manner. All floors were protected, drop cloths were used, etc. They went around and patched scuffs, nail holes, wall damage and sanded all walls before painting. The walls came out very smooth and the paint was evenly applied. They did all walls, doors and trim. These are professional painters who work directly for the company. They were uniformed and followed all COVID precautions. You can tell that they really do care about their reputation and customer satisfaction. While they were not the cheapest quote I obtained, they were competitive and worth every penny. I will certainly use them again!

I had an excellent experience with Painters Plus. From the first contact with Arlene in the office to making the arrangements with Karin ( owner) 4 weeks ago every part of the process went perfectly. Despite a pandemic lockdown and a city stopping snowstorm they didn't miss a beat. The crew Karin sent were uniformly punctual, friendly, super talented and fast. One of the rooms needed extensive drywall repair that the crew folded into their other chores and repaired flawlessly. They painted almost every square inch of my 1200 sq ft unit in two intense days of determined work. They covered furniture , did repairs, painted brilliantly ( very clean lines everywhere ) inspected by Karin and cleaned again. The price was extremely reasonable and the whole experience was beyond satisfying. The end result is beauty. I won't look anywhere else but Painters Plus for any future paint jobs.

It was my first time hiring professional painters and I want to thank Karin for being responsive and patient when answering my sometimes compulsive questioning. She is methodical in everything she does and at no time makes you feel like you’re just a client. I chose Karin for her online reviews and there’s no wonder why all the reviews are so positive.
