DO NOT shop at Home Depot until the stores open, their online and curbside pick up is a joke! I ordered a bathroom vanity at the beginning of April and was told it will be ready for pick up by April 3rd. Today is April 21st and there is no vanity in sight. When I called the store, no one knows why the vanity is so delayed, so I was given the number of the warehouse. Well, that was a waste of time because I have called 3 times every day for the past week and EVERY time it says their phone line can't take anymore calls. So at this point I have absolutely no idea when I will get my product and there is no one I can speak to to get answers. Customer service at its finest.

How is it that this store (north bay location) knew it was open on Friday June 11th for in-store shopping and still did not have enough staff to cover curb side pick up for customers who have made orders days prior to the store opening. Was actually told today that they could not tell me when the order would be ready and when I said I wanted to cancel it, because it was taking so long, the staff member got short with me. This is not the first time we have had an experience with this store and staff members just not caring or being ignorant. And also I was astounded by the fact that your staff would let a 300$ Online purchase be canceled without trying to fix the problem. I thought keeping a customers business was the name of the game here. Next time I’ll order from Sudbury and have it delivered to my home.

I purchased a new washing machine online before leaving for my holiday - the purchase was on the 20th of March. Delivery was given to be the 28th of March and off I went on holiday. Well it is now the 19th of April and for one foolish reason or another I am still waiting for my machine to be delivered - all the while Home Depot has my money. Beware of their sale tactics and for sure I will never buy another item from Home Depot Canada. I wish I could give them negative stars for a rating!

The WORST shopping experience EVER. Not even worth 1 star. Whatever you do, DO NOT use curbside pick up from Home Depot. Orders take way too long. (It took me over 7 hours for someone from Home Depot to tell me that all I need in my new Ryobi battery operated glue gun was the generic glue sticks that we should purchase from a local craft store.) Do yourself a favor and shop at Home Hardware who are set up the proper way for curb side.

Worst customer service. We took the right paint for garage. Went back to get another gallon ...we were recommended to get another floor as the paint guy told that it's a wrong pain was given to us. We did it and two days later floor paint started peeling off. When went to return they refused to return even though it was home depot mistake. I have bought our pt decking here for 2years. It comes in soaked. Got around 15-20 lifts of it. Nothing but a problem. Mostly great local people working there. BUT I have spent 2 years running around changing our wrapped boards for our customers. . PLACE IS RUN LIKE A USA. BIG BOX STORE. ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. ..ALL I wanted was them to come good for our display dock. AND COULD NOT EVEN CALL ME BACK. This is my second choice Home Depot from where I live, better than the one in Heartland but have some issues. First, is where you park relative to the entrance and exit of the store. You will always be further away from either. So, plan accordingly depending on what you are buying and where you will be exiting.. Secondly, some of the products are stocked in aisles you may not think of. For example, they have a few salt bags by the entrance but if you need more, you have to walk to the garden centre. Also, I don't find the staff are knowledgable or as helpful, depending on who you ask.

Big stores are very hard to rate as there is usuallly very little intersxtion wirh their staff. The few times I have been here I found what I needed but the paint people are not that friendly. One time I asked an older gentleman a question and grunted and rolled his eyes at me when I explained my reasoning as to why I was choosing the products for my small project. Anoher time four younger kids where there standing inside the paint counter and no one acknowledged I was even there until I had to be a little loud, not rude, and ask for their help to mix some paint. Not very nice. You will most likely find what you need here so for that reason I give this place a 3 stat rating, but so far if is based on my customer service experience it would have been a 1 star.

The attendant gave me the wrong blade with tile cutter even after confirming what type of tiles I need to cut. Being a new person, I thought this is how it works. Struggled all day to cut a few tiles. Got back ache and carpel tunnel syndrome in result.....Don't trust the attendant there, do your own research and rent what you need. Rents are a bit on the higher side.

Tried to order $20 fan online but they wanted an additional $21.51 to deliver it 4 blocks! So ordered it online for a friend to pick up as due to health I can't go out. Arranged it over phone giving order# and friends name. Friend was refused to pick it up! Asked to speak with manager but employee could not hear me over loud fork truck. Still waiting for manager to call. At their 1-888 they say due to covid they have large number of calls so hang up and try again! Then on facebook messenger no reply at all. Dealing with ghosts ! Never again.

I was renovating my house and bought almost everything there. I bought fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave and bar fridge thanks to the best salesman l ever met IMRAN, got it 15% cheaper than in the other stores l was looking at. I put on my Home Depot card and was able to pay it off in 18 months. Nobody beats Home Depot. My kitchen look amazing thanks to Home Depot.

Did curbside pickup twice at this location and it took over 45 mins for both times! Not to mention the item I received is in terrible condition, packaging came off and the door has very visible damage. Second time I visited, I waited for 40mins. Gave them a call, put me on hold for 10 mins, only to find out they couldn’t find my items so they just ignored my order. If I hadn’t call I could be sitting in the parking lot for another 2 hours. Ended up waited for over an hour to pick up my items... very frustrating experience, will avoid going to this location in the future.

Terrible service. Ordered rapid install carpet- only to be called the day before the installation was scheduled to be told the carpet was on back order and it would actually be 2 weeks before it can be installed, 3 weeks from my order day and far past the 72 hour rapid install promised I was sold on. When I asked to speak to a manager I was place on a 30 minute hold only to be told nothing could be done and no compensation could be made until after the carpet was installed- which is ridiculous given I have already been charged and once the carpet is installed I really have no choice but it accept the minimal compensation I'll be offered. I had to pay various contractors extra to ensure the basement would be ready for this carpet that is now no where to be seen.

I specifically booked a moving truck for today, 1st July. I even went back yesterday to confirm that I can pickup the truck today and the confirmed that all was good. Now I went there this morning as agreed and they're closed. I called hoping there was a way to pickup my truck and the lady on the phone rudely told me they were closed and she can't help me. This has completely ruined my plans! Hopefully U-Haul will come to the rescue. I'm so disappointed in Home Depot cos this is the first time I'm using them. Wish I could give them no stars! Nous avons donc dû, le matin des rénos, faire affaire avec une autre quincaillerie. Et, finalement, nous nous sommes rendus compte que la grande majorité de leurs matériaux étaient beaucoup plus chers qu'ailleurs. Sérieusement, première et dernière fois que nous faisons affaire avec eux.

Purchased an LG washer in February 2018 to replace a defective unit. Pricing was competitive and salesperson knowledgeable / readily available. Issue was getting charged $80 for install and $25 for hauling away defective washer only to find out delivery company would not install nor haul away. I demanded (and received) these charges be refunded and asked Home Depot to pick up old unit. After 2 broken promises from Home Depot to haul away old unit, I’m still waiting for shipping company to contact me. Embarrassing.

This home depot is the best HD in Mississauga/Oakville area. It has a slightly larger selection than the others and the aisles are always clean and easily identifiable. What I really enjoy here is the friendly atmosphere created by the staff, especially the fact that they actually have semi-retired tradesmen with woodworking and reno. experience working here, not just some high school dropouts, like the one on Mavis & Dundas. One drawback of going to this HD is the entrance&exit off Dundas. It seems not very well designed and one can easily get trapped here for 5+ minutes if the traffic is heavy.

Based on the experience I just had, Im going to have to rate this Home Depot fairly low. I went in looking for a tower fan that the website said was in stock. I asked two employees where they might be and was told to check two isles that were both wrong (each of the employees told me that the fans were not in stock without checking the system). I went to customer service who was very nice. She told me they were in stock and to go check another isle (different from the first two but also wrong) and ask someone around there if I needed help. I asked two more people who suggested other spots, with the last suggestion actually being the correct place. I know we are all just getting back from Covid but I had to talk to a ton of employees and not one of them took any time to walk me to where they thought the fans might be or help me in any other way other than, "You should check isle ___" The only positive experience was the nice person at customer service. 2 stars.

Highly disorganized pickup process. There aren’t enough pickup spaces. The staff aren’t fast enough to handle the allocated amount of spots. Customers end up using neighbouring numbers. An employee came out asking 5 cars if they were “James” and then turned back inside. I would suggest either closing off extra parking spaces or adding more numbers. As for anyone planning to pickup an order, respect your own time and sanity, and choose the Mavis Home Depot. They usually come out within 15-20 min.

I was just in there and I have to tell you as a contractor. I was really disappointed. I watched someone get cashed out at the pro desk and I had one item to pay for, when it was my turn the rude clerk told me that the terminal was not working as I walked back to the nearest cashier, the same clerk cashed out someone else? Why would would a terminal go down to 10-15sec? Or do they serve who they want to serve? I hope they terminate this rude employee as he shows no interest in his job, and this is coming from a contractor. I will not be going back to this Home Depot as this event took place at the pro desk around 9am.

Order pick up nightmare, wait time is 1.5-2hrs. Many customers leave since the wait time Is so long, but there is no way to cancel the order if you need to leave. Phones are not answered. Employees waste time to bring out and bring back the order that could not be cancelled by a customer who could not wait any longer. Customers double up on the numbered parking spots which leads to more confusion. After 2 hours of waiting for pressure treated wood, half of the wood was warped, secondary quality. Employees don’t care what they bring out! Ended canceling the order altogether.

I’ve been here many a time. It’s honestly hit and miss as far as the ability to get help from staff. Some staff are absolutely fantastic and are able to help with absolutely anything. Others just seem to take up space and can’t do a thing. I get it, I don’t know everything. They do try though. They usually have stock of most things.

This location is one of the best ones for customer service, hands down. I made the mistake of going to the one on Winston Churchill and the 401, and literally everyone there that cashed out at the same time were surprised at the un-professional manner in which the employees handled us. I could have waited knowing the horrible (for a retail experience) and troublesome time it would be to do a simple straight exchange. The Dundas n' 403 location IS AWESOME and have handled passed exchanges beyond stellar, not making you feel like you're doing something wrong exchanging one of many products you purchased! Two thumbs up with a huge grin that may get stuck for the duration of the drive home for Dundas and 403 location!

The Home Depot has so many great household items. Everything that you could think of from tiles to paint, blinds, lights, fridges and stoves, just about anything for your home and garden. The layout of the store is good with long isles, big signs and staff everywhere to direct you where you want to go... There are so many items for those do it yourself projects or just sprucing up the home or garden a little. Staff was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Unimpressed with what I would call piss poor customer service. Asked to get totes down from the highest shelf and was denied because there was a different tote option on the floor. The totes we required were in the store just on the highest shelf which was unreachable. Micheal from the tool rental department has been a great help!! I wanted to rent a vacuum that has an option of blowing air. The first representative told me that there is no such a thing and said that I should go for an air compressor instead, but that I also needed to get it from the mavis location since the ones at this location don’t work. Mavis location gave me two different air compressors that don’t work. I ended up coming to this location to see if I can get anything that would do my simple job, and that’s where Micheal came and took the time to understand my task. He told me that the vacuum does have a blowing option and showed me that it actually works. I ended up renting the equipment and it was great!! Micheal saved the day! Thank you

Recommend the ReVent bathroom fan at Home Depot $100. Fits your existing 8.5 inch square hole, is energy efficient and has a super low 0.8 sone rating so it’s quieter than your existing fan. The vent draws from the 4 sides so you don’t have a grill in your ceiling (pic). I also replaced the 3 inch pipe (pic) with 4 inch to give more airflow to the outside That involved chiseling out some brick and citing some wood to expand the existing hole. Finished of with a metal cap on the exterior (pic). $100 for materials including tape, 5ft pipe and flex pipe. If you can’t switch the pipe you can buy a 4 to 3 reducer $9. The fan will be noisier and air flow reduced.... so do the whole job if you can.

I was in the area doing a friends rough plumbing for a sink. In not a novice at plumbing, I’ve been working at a rona for 2 years so i know my way around things. I knew what I needed, so I asked the first person I saw and they told me the certain aisle, which ended up being the wrong aisle, which i can forgive. Regardless, i found all the ABS fittings i needed, however I needed to find the solder for copper pipes, couldn't find it, so i tried to find someone, which took me a while. I told them what i needed to find but they just started walking without saying anything, then pulled out a roll of solder, then walked away. If that didnt seem odd enough, he grabbed a leaded solder roll, which is never something you want to use especially if its for copper pipe you are going to use for drinking. I put that back and found the proper solder i needed. For starters, I would think they would atleast say something or say goodbye, but nothing. Another issue is the training, they knew they were giving the leaded solder since they looked at the description, maybe it was a bad day for the guy, but its still unacceptable in my opinion.

Extremely disappointed with the services after a sale. My husband and I bought a new home and walked into Home Depot with cash to buy all new appliances. We started with the Washer and Dryer (We shopped around and HD was the cheapest, this is what got our attention and got us in the store). A week for delivery, only to find out the dryer was badly damaged. The team left without installing the washer and took back the dryer. We called HD immediately to process the return. We were told 7-10 days for shipping of the new dryer. Called back 3 business days later to ask for an update on delivery. I was told it would then take another 24-48 hours to process the return as it hadn't been processed. Called the next business day and was told it would take 10-20 business days to process the return. We have a family of 4, no washer and dryer as of 2 weeks in. During a pandemic, It is not an option to take our things to a laundry mat and sit there for hours!!!!! We could have bought it from Costco for a bit more money and would of had it home the same day!!!! You lost our Business HD not just for the return, but the inconsistencies of your staff's lip service. I'm embarrassed to say HD was my first job out of high school. #ThumbsDOWN!

I have never had a single issue with this location. I've purchased electronics, mechanical stuff, and construction materials. No issues with getting the items. They gave me all the tools necessary to cut drywall in store. Quickly cut the lumber to the desired length. Always a good advise when I ask for help in making a decision. Returns and refunds also went through without any problems. The only issue is that late in the evening on weekday, the staff can be scarce. The forklift guy went missing for almost an hour...

Drove from out of town to Woodstock Home Depot to get a couple of the husky totes, online stated there were 20 totes available. Checked the front entrance area where they have been before and there were none. After checking a few isles myself my sister asked a staff member and was told to check the back back isle at the other end of the store where I found none. Asked another staff member and was told to check the front and near self- check out. Went back to front of store and nothing, asked a cashier and she showed us to an alcove where they are “normally kept” and there was flooring. Then said again to check the very front entrance area, I told her I had already looked but followed anyways, none. She said she would ask, talked to another cashier who did not know, After standing there I said I would just keep looking. Walked the perimeter of the store and found the lids with no totes. Ended up leaving very frustrated with no totes and a sore back as I am visibly pregnant and walking on cement for that long gets painful. While staff was nice, not one of them went out of their way to actually help me find what I was looking for. Very disappointed.

I had an excellent experience at this location last night. Earlier I had bought a lock (dead bolt part + latch part) for our main door. I successfully installed the dead bolt but discovered that the latch part was defective. I took only the defective part back to the store where I was greeted and helped in the hardware section by Clifford. He examined the piece and explained to me the problem. I was pleasantly surprised when he took the initiative, dismantled it and then fixed it. He could have taken a "short cut" and told me to return it and get a new lock. That would have meant that I go home, uninstall the dead bolt and bring the whole assembly back for exchange. He was very knowledgeable about the product and had a fantastic attitude as far as the customer service is concerned. Staff like Clifford are truly a great asset for Home Depot since they are responsible for repeat customers.

I waited over 40 minutes for curb side pickup! I texted the number as per the sign and entered all the information. I waved down a worker, he saw me but didn't acknowledge me, he went back inside and came out after another 10 mins, saying he couldn;t come without his vest on!! After giving him my order number, I was told I was not in the queue..that is impossible - I think it was human error in that someone skipped over my order, but hours later I am still waiting for a return call from the Manager. I doubt I'll order from them again.

Although generally I have no complaints about this store tonight was awful. We went to the electrical area to get conduit and related boxes etc. They had almost nothing we needed in stock. The guy working the department kept scanning and saying they had 10 or 12 more of the thing we needed but that he would never be able to find it. He then disappeared for a bit and came back to say he looked in one cart but it wasn't there and that there were more carts but he couldn't go looking. He suggested we could go to another store. We were in Woodstock so he was suggesting we go to Kitchener or Brantford 40 mins away rather then find the stock they had in their store.

Not sure who placed the other reviews but sounds like they did not go to this place very often. I find this one of the worse Home Depot locations. Poor service - that is if somebody actually comes to service at all. I am sure there are some good, knowledgeable and helpful folks there but in general it is very hard to get help. For example I was there yesterday (after I often repeated I would never go to this place again) and after 35 min of trying to get help in the lighting department I left without help or product. Several times floor staff would stroll by with excuses like - "I don't know anything here", "they will come soon", "I am on break", "I am too busy"...some even ignored eye contact and just kept walking...kind of like some of those expert waitresses when they are too busy... . I tried the service desk... too busy. I was pretty steamed so I tried to call in for the manager...the phone does not even get answered at all! Anyhow, there are many good Home Depots and many companies with similar product just this is not one of them.

This was quite literally the worst customer service I have ever received. We spent well over $5000 on materials, after waiting a half hour for any type of promised help. When the time finally came to be helped getting loaded up, the yard attendant that was to help us saw the flooring that needed loaded, turned around and went to speak to his co-workers for approx 15 minutes until the end of his shift. Leaving my partner and I to use the pallet jack on our own and load the materials by our selves. Then one of the boxes was damaged and missing most of it's content. Which took another 20 minutes to sort out with yet another seemingly uninterested employee. Customer service is at an all time low at this store. If the staff I connected with today were any more foolish they would need to be watered twice a week.

All the goodies are here for DIY projects. This is one of the stores I like the just walk around in and just get ideas. Sometimes figure out things are simpler to fix myself then I may have thought. I particularly like the self checkout. Lots of people seem to be a little intimidated by using a computer to check out, so it's super fast to go in an out with just a couple things. The thing will even email you a receipt, so you don't have to worry if you lose it.

I'd give less then one star if I could. Myself, I am a young guy, dirty work clothes, and work boots is my usual attire. I had gone into the store around 8:00 pm to buy some new gloves for work the next day. Very helpful staff! I've gone in several times with odd projects and they walked me through the store to help me. One time they were out of a specific item I wanted 30 min before closing and a staff member helped me track down something similar. Another time I called the garden center for a curbside pick up and they were super helpful and asked additional questions which led me to learn it was open and I didn't have to wait for curbside! If they didn't try to understand my question I would have still been waiting. I love that it is organized and clean and I can find the exact aisle for the item online.

When I returned some Vinyl planks took them over 45 min to complete the transaction and it was a huge headache. They were insisting in paying $56 dollars less than what I originally had paid. After all that I didn't even get an apology. Way to go, you just lost a loyal customer. To think I spent over $8000 back in 2018 in the Woodstock location makes me sick. Lowe's is now my store for renovations.

I’ve typically relied on the good advice of the sales associates, so this isn’t a knock against them. However, when I ordered my online order for curbside pickup. It took them 48 hours to get it ready. And then when I showed up, I had to wait a FULL HOUR in my car after checking in online and via text. They have to get their curbside process sorted better. This is just ridiculous.

I was so impressed. My father had three strokes, yet he still walks proudly, albeit maybe a bit slower. He is also very cognitive, although with Aphasia, his speech may make people think he isn't. He remembers most things more than I even do at 30 years his junior. :) I noted all the names of the wonderful people who helped us. First person was Jayur. He, at first, pointed us in the direction we needed to go, and then went up and above his call of duty to say "I'll take you there". Noticing my father was slower, he offered to get a cart. My father is very proud that he can still walk without a cane or walker, and said "No, thank you". Jayur made him feel like a regular person. Not a senior, not someone who has a "dis-ability" due to his slower mobility and aphasia (difficulty speaking). We went on to Jayur introducing us to the next step from staples for a staple gun to a water filter for our fridge. There we met Matilda. Again, wonderful and she explained the store didn't carry the brand (older fridge), and suggested a place to go to, and took the time to write down where we had to go and too, wished us a Happy Thanksgiving. This doesn't end here. My Dad and I then walked to the check out where another wonderful person helped us "Check Out". Kitty. She helped scan (I knew how, however I found it so wonderful that she offered). What a delightful group of people who showed no judgment, only kindness and caring. I do have to say it meant to world to my father too. Note: My dad was skiing black diamonds at 83. The three strokes he had were within one year six years ago. He, at first, was afraid to go out in public - afraid of what people would think. His mind is perfect. He just lost some mobility and speech. I appreciate the wonderful people at Home Depot for making him feel "normal", if you understand what I mean. Because he is. And sometimes people are too quick to judge. Jayur, Matilda and Kitty didn't. Thank you!!

Decent selection of products as with every other home depot but their customer service is beyond subpar. If you're planning to get any items from here I'd recommend doing your research online first because getting technical help from this store takes forever. Almost celebrated my birthday just waiting for service.

So I get that places can get busy but this was at 8:30pm and the place was pretty much empty. They had nothing in Stock that we were looking for even though the online stock count said they had 6 pieces. Then I needed some help in the bulb dept looking for a specific bulb. Had to ask 6 times for assistance as no employee walking by seemed to work in that dept. Went to customer service...all they did was page someone....3 times. Finally after waiting for 25 minutes the guy gets there and doesn't apologize for the 25 minute wait....just looks at the bulb and says...oh ...we don't carry that anymore...what ???????? Are you kidding me ??? We brought the bulb here before and bought the chandelier there as well. Then he says....oh...we do have this that you can use as a replacement...and shows me a bulb that is 20 bucks....for 1 bulb ???? I didn't pay even 6 buck for the original bulb. So I said forget it...I will contact Philips direct to see if I can find the original. Thanks for nothing Home Depot...we won't be back...and neither should you folks. Horrible service.

Garden/seasonal department, lighting department, tiles/flooring department, windows/door department and building material department associates are very helpful. They take initiative to help and very knowledgeable. I always visit this place when I have project at home.

This is a very large very box store. We have always navigate by asking the associations were what we what is and then wondering down the aisle in question. there are generally enough stuff on the weekend and after work to make this a very workable arrangement. The staff is often quite knowledgeableand when you find the person in the aisle for what you're purchasing they will often help you locate the exact part or spare that you need. The staff is always been friendly and approachable. Generally they have something akin to what you need. Be aware that the story is usually reasonably busy and that people don't always make the best shopping cart drivers. The place is quite dry and I always find it smells of wood.

They have all you can ask for when you are fixing your home inside or out. We bought wood stain for our deck in a deep blue. Everyone that drives by slows down to check it out. Some have made sure to tell us how beautiful it looked. We also stained the busker a light blue and the railing so long the top is white. The his of those stain colors is fabulous. A few neighbours sent pics to their friends Quality products are hard to find these days so we were happy for the great stain and all the advice get gave us with picking paint or stain and how to make sure it lasts We went to buy other products there and I told them that another store had them cheaper. Well they gave the product for the cheaper price. That is great in my books.

Giving this review a 5 star. We ordered a husky tool chest to be delivered. It was delivered on time however it was damaged. We called and reserved the same model and went to pick it up within 30 mins of discovering our original damaged chest. Elaine helped us out and was aware of the situation as per our call to reserve. She helped us quickly and efficiently with the return and was polite and courteous. She also suggested we open the new box to make sure the same issue hadn’t happened. Thanks for the great service!

My only complaint is against company policy. During severe weather, hot or cold, customers should be allowed to bring pet companions into the store, of course under proper control. Honestly everything was fine until I stood at the paint section for no more than 10 seconds. 2 customers came up behind me within breathing distance and I was like okay that’s fine, they’re just ignorant to the global pandemic. The service at this store is beyond bad. The last 3 times I visited this store no one helped me find the lumber I needed. Today their store website and another store told me there were 200 units of fence boards in stock at this location. 2 battered boards on the shelf. I asked someone their for help, he looked at me like I was bothering him. Said he did not work lumber. He then points to the empty slot and says there is none and walks away. Perhaps the lumber is somewhere else??? Call someone from lumber? Check inventory??? Asked to speak to manager. Waited 5 minutes no one shows up. Not the first such experience at this store. Before returning items count them carefully and pay attention to what the employees do. I went there and I was trying to return 16 items (16 items with me there), yet the employee consistently argued that, I has only purchased 15 items. (Because I did not have my receipt with me at the time I couldn't argue back) later I went to my car and found the receipt and saw that in fact I had purchased 16 items. I had a very bad experience with Home Depot's delivery service. Ordered 4 major appliances including a refrigerator that wasn't delivered on the day it was supposed to be. I got the runaround for 4 days calling and waiting on the line and looking for where the refrigerator had gone to. The young lady Joanie (or child I should say) that works at Home Depot in Trois-Rivieres was very difficult to deal with as she was taking personally my dissatisfaction and I felt I was speaking to a child. She shouldn't be answering phones. Meanwhile, I had to feed my child and I in restaurants, etc. Got $80 compensation after having spent time on the phone and way more money eating out than a measly $80. I have remodeled my kitchen at Home Depot and was going on more home improvement projects with them but now I won't. I don't recommend Home Depot. Very disappointed!

Went to get air filter. There were two units left on the aisle for Filterete 16×25×4. Picked up the top unit and was about to walk away, when I realized I should check the unit. Found it was all brown and covered with dust, but nicely packed. Immediately dropped it back on the aisle and checked the other unit, it was perfectly fine, all white inside. The Home Depot - its a typical home improvement shop that you can pickup all the materials or tools to finish a project. The merchandise in this store are displayed very clearly in different sections. Beside the building materials and tools, they also have appliances, bath, decor and blinds, electrical, floors and area rugs, furniture, hardware, heating and cooling, garden, outdoor, paint plumbing, storage/organization , windows & doors departments.

It's a Home Depot where they have pretty much anything you might need. Finding what you need, it's a painful experience, because often I have to chase the staff around. Most of them are doing their best to ignore the customer and avoid any contact. The information they provide is often unreliable. It happened several times to tell me they don't have the item in stock, but I was able to located it by calling the customer service. Recently I have encountered a lady who was ready to take off when I started talking to her. I have noticed the garlic necklace she was wearing. I knew that's supposed to keep the vampires away. So either is a trial for customers, either there are vampires shopping at Home Depot. The bottom line is that any visit at Home Depot is a frustrating experience, that I am trying to avoid by not going to this store unless I have no other choice. 2021 update Don't buy blinds/shades from Home Depot, no matter the price. They have only 1 "specialist" who's never there and if decides to make himself available, is rolling his eyes when questions are asked. The other staff in this department have no clue in regards of the technicalities, and are sending the customer to seek answers at the manufacturer. Doors department Been a pleasure to deal with the 2 gentlemen working at the door department, George and Paul. Both are knowledgeable, patient, helpful and... fun.

Yesterday I had the best customer service experience at this branch of home depot. I had a problem that got to do with my bathroom fitting. Not knowing whom to ask in particular I presented my problem to Maria from the decore department. Appologyzing that she doesn't know how to help me she toik the initiative of leaving her desk and escorted us looking for somebody who can help us. She took us to the hardware department where we were met by the most kind, helpful and knowledgeable gentleman called Jayur. He kept on giving us different options to solve our problem in a friendly and pleasant way. He similar to Maria escorted us to the different departments for our other enquiries and purchases giving us very helpful and simple tips all the way. He went back to his department after he made sure that we received all what we were looking for and with a satisfactory smile on our lips. I don't think I will have any problem with where to go for any other future purchases and thanks to Maria and Jayur.
