Amazing variety of goods and parts! I was looking for a free items that I couldn't find in other "similar" stores in town...I was so glad I tried here. The staff were all very friendly and genuinely nice (offering assistance if needed), and I ended up going up and down every single aisle just to see what all they had. Came in for 1 thing, left with a buggy full. I'll come here first when looking for a harder to find item for the home, garden, kitchen, or small hardware part.

This store is getting like a big box stores . Almost everything comes packaged . Perhaps you only need 2 screws , but now you must pay 10x the price and get 12 screws and now you have 10 extra and no use for them .

Unreal customer service from a staff that feels like family. Smaller than the box box guys, but they have what I need most of the time. They do special orders that the bigger guys won't do. I've used the paint, plumbing, hardware and garden departments.

Great store with an old time vibe. It seems like a community hub. The staff are super friendly and they've got quite a wide variety of stock here! This is Pepper, a special needs cat. He lives at the store with his brother Salt. So for that reason alone this is a five star operation. ????

Have been shopping here for years and love coming here. Homer is always sending me on errands because he has broken something and is too “busy” to go out and get the stuff himself. I always try here 1st because they always have what Homer needs. The staff always asks if I need help and are so friendly. I’ve tried to go to the bigger stores and end up getting lost and no staff is ever around to help. Thank You to all the wonderfull staff at Stamford Home Hardware (The young girl there with the glasses is my favourite, she’s always so happy. She would most likely get along well with my granddaughter Lisa.) You guys have a customer for life. I’ve even got the “fix it” guy at the Retirement Castle shopping here now.

Love this store. The Stamford Centre store, considering it's not a "build centre", has everything you could want. It's truly crazy how they've maximized space and carry more and better selection then a certain big box store, that's you Home Depot. And the staff, always a pleasure. I come here frequently. Well did Atleast up until recently I am utterly disgusted with you staff, there was a man that came into your store bandage hands I got to talking out of curiosity did he hurt himself on the job? So I asked him, he told me. Anyhow I received a phone call from a client on a jobsite so I stayed behind a few mins, I bumped into that gentleman on the way out and said cheers, your staff had the nerve to laugh, call him a loser saying "oh he probably punched a wall drunk or high"... Just so you and your staff know, that man had to smash 3 car windows to pull a man out of a burning vehicle, that man you or your staff called a loser or druggy/drunk preformed CPR on a dying man. I bet that's alot more than alot of your staff members can say about themselves. Don't judge a book by its cover. I will NOT be returning to your store, but I feel you should know the real reason why that "losers" hands were bandaged.

Won’t be back. I went on a Saturday and was looking for a specific item; a male employee took my name and phone number and told me he will have to call the supply warehouse on Monday then call me back. The note with phone number was properly written and I do have an answering service for messages. I never received a call back from the store.
