2020.09.10. Lunch/Dinner was at Montana in Niagara Falls. The me choice was a combo ribs and wings with fries and coleslaw. Coors Lite was the drink of choice. We requested that food to be served in takeout containers and used plastic cutlery. We sat at the patio and had a great time.
Food is good, but unfortunately we caught them when they were low on staff therefore it took an hour to actually get out good. My plate was also dirty
Ciara was our server, and she definitely gets 5 stars... but I can’t say the same for our food! I felt ripped off by the quantity of nachos, and the baked pitas on the side looked very unappealing. Our server made all efforts to accommodate us, so our experience was still good. The deep fried pickles were my favourite though.
Well, our first clue should have been that a BBQ place didn't even smell like smoke when we walked in. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait for our table (2 adults, 2 kids) and it was about 35-40 minutes. I ordered the 4 bone "taster" of baby back ribs. True to the name, 4 tiny lukewarm ribs came with fries and corn bread that was still cold in the center. I ordered coleslaw but was served baked beans. The kids ordered the sliders, which were also just barely warm. One reason we chose Montana's was because the sign outside said that on Tuesdays kids eat free (it was a Tuesday). When we got the bill, we were charged for two kids' meals. When I asked if kids eat free on Tuesdays, our server said "Oh, the hostess didn't tell you? That's only from 12-4." Very frustrating. Our server also stated that on the days they have the $5 burger, the times are randomly changed by management. Our server also voiced frustration at this restaurant and told us about a job interview coming up the next day because working there is mostly dealing with customer complaints. This place deserves 1 star, but I bumped it up to 2 because the server was very friendly and handled complaints from us and other tables around us with patience and a smile. Believe all of the other not-so-great reviews. Skip this place.

I went to the Niagara location while on a trip on November 20th and had the poorest experience i've ever had at a Montana's. I am very familiar with their menu /foods as it is one of my favorite restaurants but the food and service was not good. We ordered our food (for takeout) at 7:33pm and was told it as going to be a 40 min wait. We waited the 40 minutes and when we arrived to the restaurant to pick it up the hostess said the kitchen was backed up by 15-20 minutes and that we would have to wait (we were okay with this). We asked if it was okay to walk around for a bit while we wait, the hostess said it was okay. We came back 20 minutes later and asked if the order was ready. The hostess said she would check, but never came back with an update. We waited almost two hours for our food asking other staff members about the status of our order, each one not coming back with an update. At this point we were very hungry and frustrated, but noticed that there was take out order sitting at the bar for almost 40 minutes. When we finally gave up and spoke to the manager, the manager responded with "it's one of those nights" and walked away. We spoke to her again and she asked around about our order....which turned out to be the order sitting at the bar for over 40 minutes. We explained to the manager that we have been waiting in the restaurant for quite some time. The manager said that "she was looking for us the whole time but could not find us". We explained that we were told the kitchen was backed up and was instructed to wait 15-20 minutes. The manager then insisted that it was our fault because we should not have left the restaurant because the "food came out as soon as we left". We were in shock because we were told that our order was backed up, so we went for a little walk around the restaurant to kill time. The manager still made us pay full price despite the fact that we ordered our food at 7:30 and didn't get it until around 9:20pm. The food was very bad. We ordered nachos, which was all chips and barely any toppings, we payed extra for guacamole and didn't get it, my bf's burger had no toppings, my Fajitas had 4 chicken strips to make 5 fajitas, our food was COLD because we had to wait so long for our food....overall, it was a very bad experience and I will not be coming back to this location again.
Went this Saturday evening, 2 adults wanting to sit at the bar. The front door was locked to avoid crowding at the reception area which is understandable. Waited outside for 15 min before being allowed in, the dining area was fairly busy but there seemed to be ample staff in that area. We immediately went to the bar area and sat at the counter. There was only 1 bartender on staff, for a Saturday this leaves you wondering where the others are? She was hustling and noticeably overwhelmed, we were not acknowledged at all. It took my boyfriend to ask for a drink for the bartender to say anything. Even after, she had wait staff coming up non stop and was unable to get our drinks right away. After about 15 min we decided we couldn’t wait any longer and decided to leave. My boyfriend asked to speak with a manager and was told there wasn’t one available. The bartender at that point mentioned she was overwhelmed and lacking assistance to properly serve both the bar and dining area. This post is more to make note that the manager on staff tonight did a terrible job of managing her staff accordingly. They were clearly short handed in one area and sufficiently staffed in another. Not sure how that would happen if you had a proper management of resources ????

Worst Montana location. Waited for 15 minutes for servers to greet us. Buttermilk chicken is like a rock hard. No such thing as fresh salad. Back ribs were old. Never again in this location. Not a Montana standard.
I’ve went to many Montana’s locations, and this location is certainly the WORST one I’ve been to. The service was pathetic. The server had no idea about the current promotional offers, and looked at us like we had 6 heads whenever we asked a question about the food. The food was so disappointing. The steak was soo salty and when we told the server she replied with “this is the way it taste” and “there’s nothing I can do about it now.” There is a reason why this place has a low rating, and hardly any customers inside. Disappointing!
After sat, waited 10 mins to be greeted, and basically had to go in the restaurant and bring our drinks out ourselves, but they weren’t ready so we got up and left. You’d think they’d at least greet tables with water when sitting in the sun. My boyfriend and I are in the service industry and are very patient when going out to eat, just seems very unorganized and staff moves very very slow. I love Montana’s but not this location.
Just went here recently with my family. I enjoyed the food a lot! Also our server Karen was great! She recommended a few entrees and they all turned out great. I very relaxing and family friendly environment. The kids menu was great too! Thank you, and I will be returning soon.

It is not busy on the weekends and the food was great! No complains about that but the atmosphere is not so welcoming and the staff is not so friendly. So it was worth of coming just for the food.
When we walked in we waited for 5-10 minutes before someone finally to us. Once we sat down it was another 8 minutes before our server talked to us. When we ordered it seemed to be a life time for our food to come out. There was only 2 other families inside and the place was empty. The menu here is terrible since covid started. We got a small portion of fries with our not so good burger. Actually it was probably the worst burger I have ever had. The meat tasted awful like some breakfast meat or something. We won't be back for a really long time.
Frankly the cook should have called in sick or quit because the quality that my family was served tonight was awful. We are regular visitors to the st.catharines location and it's always amazing. This is our second time doing take out from the Niagara Falls location and it will be the last. The first time we were missing gravy this time I wish it was just the order of fries that was missing. Unfortunately that's only where it starts. Our fried chicken was soggy and weirdly kinda tasted like fish in a way. Clearly the oil needed to be changed ( I hope that was the issue) and calling it a piece of chicken when it was much closer to the size of a nugget The garlic potatoes tasted more like sour cream then even actual potatoes I'm not even going to comment on the fact I'm pretty sure there was no garlic at all. The smokey bacon mac and cheese had so much blue cheese you couldn't taste anything else - at least I hope thats what it was because by the time my daughter let me try it it was half gone and my first thought was that it was made with rotting cheese (and I'm a fan of blue cheese) it was an over priced soggy mess that cost me close to 80 dollars. I'm more then disappointed.
We love Montana’s but this visit was a bit of a disappointment. Our waitress was super awesome, but the food wasn’t so awesome. Our steaks were totally undercooked (rarer than rare) and cold, and the smashed potatoes were hard. We also had to pay for parking, I don’t know why I thought Montana’s may validate parking, but unfortunately not. We still like Montana’s, but maybe not this location this time around.
Came here a couple days ago with my husband, sister, and two kids. Food wasn't horrible, but disappointing considering the price. Wait time was very long, but that's expected on Clifton Hill, I suppose. Restaurant is clearly very short-staffed, it shows through the overall quality of the food, the excruciating wait times and the lack of servers on the floor. Our server was very sweet, though; she deserves better. This quality is not her fault. Also wanted to mention that I overheard a girl complaining to her coworker that she had been working 8-hour shifts and not getting any breaks - that was what really did it for me. Staff all seem like nice people, but the management seems poor and they should have hired way more people before thinking of opening back up again! ????

Absolutely horrible service. We waited outside due to covid which was fine. Once we were inside we waited for what seemed like forever for someone to ask what we'd like to eat. No drinks were offered at the beginning even though the heat outside was enough to cause someone to faint. Once our meals were finished we had to wait again for a very long time to get the bill. Nobody came in between to ask how our meals were or if we needed anything. I'm not one for making bad reviews but this was the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant.
Went here today with a few lads, ordered a few pints and an order of spicy buffalo wings. The staff were all very friendly and we were well taken care of, the place was absolutely shining top to bottom I was very impressed. Our server Hannah was awesome and very polite it was a pleasure to be served by her. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to go somewhere to eat/drink. Cheers x

We were so excited to go have Montana's for dinner while in the Falls. We walked in, place was empty and yet we were left standing at the door for almost 25 minutes with no acknowledgement from staff. The poor guy at the door was seating customers AND cleaning up dirty tables while three waitresses were standing by the bar socializing. The place was a MESS, most tables were dirty. The atmosphere in general was not inviting so we sadly left. We won't be back and this business will not last long with so many other great restaurants close by.
Had a blast this weekend at dinner. My server did a great job and the manager was soo nice to us. She seated us and checked on us to see how we were doing. Everything was great.
We have always had some of the best meals at Montana's however our experience with the Niagara Falls restaurant was absolutely disgusting..our food was burnt to unrecognizable, our baked Mac and cheese was not only cold but no bacon. A pull pork sandwich was served as ground beef sandwich absolutely the most disgusting food every..seriously get it together and take pride in our food..never again lost my business

Absolutely worst food I have ever had at a Montana's, the chipotle firecracker tasted terrible and dry where as other locations its always good. The ribs were tough and not seem fresh, wings tasted like they were purchased from wal mart and then microwaved. This location needs new people working the kitchen. would never go back
This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I waited in line for an hour and then inside waited 45 minutes from time of order to get a chicken salad. Salad came out drowning in gross dressing. Save your time and money. They blamed it on the long weekend but no other restaurant seemed to have a problem that we visited this weekend.
My wife and I went for lunch today, although they were short staffed, and told we were going to wait longer for food, we chose to stay anyways. The acting manager went all out for us to make sure we had an enjoyable experience.. We had two long island ice tea's and two poutines.. The drinks were very good, and we actualy got our food very fast. One of the best poutines i have had.. The Manager was very freindly and actually made the food and drinks for us... We were sorry to see people walking out becsuse they didnt want to wait.. The sevice was great..

No host to greet customers for 10mins at peak time. At least 15 other customers waiting too. Only 2 tables occupied, not busy at all. One Montana employee - not the host - looked over at everyone waiting and did nothing but duck into the back out of sight. Went two doors down to Subway.

If I could rate this location a 0 I would. Did they not only get all three orders wrong they did it twice. We waited an hour and 45 min for the wrong orders.
I placed an order for 2 steaks for pickup for 7:30. When I arrived, even though the restaurant was not particularly busy (3-4 tables), I noticed they were short staffed. After waiting 10 minutes at the door, finally someone came and asked if I needed a table. When I said I was in for pickup, they told me pickup orders were at the bar. For which nobody was at the bar for the 10 minutes I had been waiting. So the waitress did me a ‘favour’ and went to check on my order. 5 minutes later she came back and said they needed a few more minutes. 10 minutes later another person showed up with ‘my order’. The bill seemed light, so I asked to check the receipt, and after the 25 minute delay, it only included half of it. They apologized for the misunderstanding on THEIR end and told me they could have my other steak ready in 5 minutes. Nothing led me to believe that would be true, nor do I think the quality of a steak done in 5 minutes would be satisfactory. So I decided to go eat somewhere else. An unfortunate choice on this short trip to Niagara. P.S. don’t ask me to fill out a form to learn more about my experience. It is all above and I want nothing else to do with Montanas ever again.
Went to eat here for dinner on the weekend of August 13th. After waiting in line forever, had to return the chicken strips as they were completely pink and uncooked. Waiter apologized and said he would get new ones made. Second batch of chicken strips showed up at the table still pink and uncooked. We were disgusted and ended up not eating dinner. The chicken strips got taken off the bill, but you would think my chicken wrap would be taken off as well since I couldn't even eat half after seeing the uncooked chicken on our other plate.
Waited at the front door for 10 minutes. No service. Bartender and server looked at us and never even acknowledged us. There were 4 tables in the restaurant lmao. Tvs are all off, vibes are terrible. I'm a bartender and so is my girlfriend, if that's the level of work you are putting in you aren't cut out for this industry sorry.
Actually ZERO!!!! Went last night and was HORRIBLE!!!!! food was served after 45mins eventhough they're not busy! We had to follow our order up!!!!! We were starving, specially our kids, and Actually ordered as soon as she went to our table to grab our drinks, Hubby ordered burger with a side of mashed potato for our son but the server forgot and just realized when she served the food. She then gave the mashed for free, MOm ordered fishnchips that's actually been cooked in a very USED OIL!!!!!ALso, she NEVER CAME back to ask how the food was, if my kids weren't hungyry, then we might ended up walking out!!!!! I wish I could give this a 0 star rating worst experience. My family and I went to Niagara falls for a little get away and decided to come here since we normally would go to Montana's where we currently live. The line is the least of my concern it was a long weekend its understandable. But when we got in the first thing the lady told us was "we don't sell steak". Isn't that what you guys are known for? They didn't tell us when we were in the line but when we got inside. We waited I want to say 40 minutes for the foods. Nobody came to apologize for the wait or even welcome us in. The wait wasn't worth it. The food was horrible. I ordered the burrito bowl. So messy and added things I said I didn't want. My dad got this messy burger everything fell out when he bit into it. My brother ordered a burger. patty was burnt. My mom ordered I think it was some sweet potato fries which were so dry, and a jalapeno burger with no jalapeno. How do you forget to jalapeno, is the name not clear enough? All in all worst experience ever horrible and not worth it.
The ribs are the bests! I invited my friends to try the ribs and they were all happy with their dishes. Steak salad is my favorite here. The service in Niagara branch is somewhat slow though as they are too busy.

We went to Montana because on the phone they advised the place was pet friendly. However, once we were there (and waited on the line outside) the person outside the restaurant told us that pets are not allowed. It was a waste of time

My boyfriend and I went there and when we got there the restaurant was uncomfortably hot so we asked to sit outside.. the 2 waiters were so weird about us asking that and sat us at a wobbly table.. we moved, then the waitress told us that their was no pulled pork, no bbq sauce and no gravy.... so we had to order something else, I asked for no sauce or pickles on my sandwich, when I got it it had both sauce and pickles on it and it was burnt to a crisp... and both our fries were cold and salted and peppered as if they were someone else's old fries... we also waited FOREVER for our food as they were soo understaffed.. do not eat there!!
We waited over 30 mins for our meals. My partner order the southern chicken meal, veggies and potatoes were cold. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, it was burnt, missing toppings. There were no condiments at the table, nor were we offered any, and had to ask for them.
So we ordered online, mind you the roads are bad so we knew if and when the order was confirmed that it would take a long time. Basically after and 65 minutes, a driver is there ready to pick up our food at 8:50, and it the resteraunt is closed? The order was confirmed ateast and hour ago...so like if y'all were closing early( because the website says you're open till at least 10 or 11) you could have cancelled the order to called us no?? I dunno it was mega frustrating and just really sad to see everyones time wasted????♀️

Totally disappointed Server was new and didn’t know the menu. Food came to the table cold and incorrect. Don’t like to complain but when business are wanting people to dine out and spend money they need to step it up.
Incredibly disappointed with this location. yesterday at Niagara Falls we stop by for lunch around 3 o’clock left about 430 without eating. We were ignored by staff I had to get up and ask if we could place A food order, waited over half an hour for drinks. After an hour again had to get up and ask a staff member when we could expect our food the answer was not sure we only have one chef. We waited a bit longer asked again if the food was coming. When it finally arrived it was cold and missing parts like the soup. The food looked a mess. We refused the food and left after paying for the drinks. The manager told us it was her first day and that the chef was also inexperienced. We frequent our hometown branch quite often and have always had a positive experience this branch is a disgrace to the brand.
I love Montana’s, they’re food and drinks are always great. But I did have a bad experience with this specific location unfortunately. Me and my partner came for dinner at 6pm on a Friday, I feel like that’s a pretty common time to go and have dinner and drinks. We get inside and are told the wait till be 10-15 minutes because they are a little understaffed and behind. We say of course and it’s all fine. We wait about 10 minutes already then are told it’ll actually be much longer than the 15 minutes because they are too behind to serve anymore food right now. We are again understanding and say yes that’s fine and we ask if we can just sit at the bar and have some water or a drink while we wait. We are then told no and they wouldn’t even let us sit down at the bar for some water while we wait for them to be able to serve food. Ridiculous, I understand that it is stressful and being understaffed is hard but you should allow your customers to sit at the bar and have a drink while waiting. Won’t be coming back here ever again.
Came for a drink on the patio. The host disappeared for a few minutes, came back and indicated ‘the outdoor server said you can’t be seated at this time’. There were 3 outdoor tables seated with a total of 7 people and 3 empty tables. Who runs this place?
Really bad experience they told us to wait to sit us a full family they had us waiting outside in the cold with 2 baby's an 1 toddler for more than an hour and when it was our turn they said they couldn't give us a table they could of told us that since the beginning
Worst meal we had during 5 day stay at Niagara Falls and possibly ever! Long wait without being notified of wait time. Watched 3 other tables around us shortly after being seated - one had an issue with their bill, one walked out after waiting for drinks for 45 minutes and another sent food back. We decided to stay due to the long wait and we were very hungry. Meals were all terrible - caesar salad made with mayo, severely burnt / over cooked chicken in 3 meals, very small chicken portions, wrong side brought out for all meals, no vegetables and the list goes on. Felt sorry for the waitress as the kitchen obviously has no idea what they were doing. She was not helpful and the whole experience took 2 hours, but she appeared overwhelmed. Very poor.

If you are hungry avoid this place. We were told 15 minutes and ended up waiting an hour. The hostess girls were incredibly rude even when just asking how long the wait will be. The girls at the front were sharing one Starbucks drink and on their phones. We were told they're understaffed which now I see why people don't want to work there. Save yourself the attitude and go across the street to Kelsey's.
Hey spicy food people. The ones who love spicy chicken and Red Hot Buffalo sauce. Yes you. I just want to say that this resto is for you, and for anyone who loves Ribs and BBQ things. The service was great and they sure know how to make you feel special when you are a fan of spicy sauce!! The food was delicious and everything was excellent. Hope I helped ya!
Never felt so disrespected at a restaurant before... By the owner no less. Introduced herself as my family received our appetizers, which were good! However both steaks ordered at the table were very well done, when they were supposed to be medium rare. Our waitress took the steaks back to the kitchen and the same woman who spoke to us before returned with a very different attitude, claiming we weren't the only people tonight to complain about the food (doesn't that tell you something...) and that we would not be getting a refund or discount. Absolutely no apology. We never asked for either of those things... We explained we just want the food we are paying for to be what we ordered. She just started getting more aggressive and accusatory, telling us we were free to leave. So we did! (After explaining to our waitress it was not her fault, and tipping her before we left.) Never walked out of a restaurant before... I can only imagine how she speaks to her employees if this is how she speaks to customers. It was seriously bizarre, we were waiting for the hidden TV cameras to come out. Definitely ruined our night.

Was always curious to try this chain but have to say this place was really disappointing. I thought because of the location it would be fantastic but the wait was extremely long for the food. Only 1 waitress who was also the bartender for the whole restaurant. Best part/only was the drinks. As for the food took extremely long and ribs were cold and wasn’t even 730pm and there was no more coleslaw. The waitress only let us know this as she brought our plates to the table and said the beans were the only choice. No compensation was offered for the wait and quality of food so really hope this was a one time thing for this place
Yesterday we decided to try Montanas after all the years of talking about it...We were in the line across the street at Kelseys which was like triple the people waiting so decided on a whim to go across the street...1st mistake we ended up waiting longer which I dont understand we finally get into the icebox of the restaurant felt like we were eating in the freezer isle of the grocery store, and i am not exaggerating. My daughter and I ordered diet coke and root beer waitress came with dr pepper and some other drink which tasted like root beer but was suppose to be diet pepsi i told her that i cannot have sugar for health reasons she came back with another "diet pepsi" which was almost see through so i decided to get a bottle instead, after 20 mins of waiting for my drink because she forget. We ordered our food i got a medium steak, my husband well done i got salad with mine ...his mashed. My steak was by far the worst i have ever had in a take-out setting. The steak was well done and like a hockey puck..so disappointed my husband was medium rare which he does not do...my salad didnt really have dressing on it and the coleslaw was meh...no flavor at all. I would say for niagara falls and this being Montanas I am not impressed at all. I would have said something to the waitress but I felt with the pop sitaution I had her going back and fourth and she was already over her head with the people she was serving. She was polite and I know this wasnt my biggest issue but the food......hard PASS. I wish I would have went anywhere else with the options in niagara. :(

Went here last night with a few of my friends and the service was absolutely amazing! I ordered a pink berry lemonade and it was fantastic. For dinner, I ordered the smokehouse wrap with a loaded baked potato. The wrap was absolutely delicious and our server, Naomi was very punctual and brought everything out on time, despite how busy the restaurant was. Next time you're in Niagara Falls, I highly recommend visiting Montana's!
Horrible management waited outside for 20min. No hostess ,knowone came out , finally got in and seated. Was told by my server Aliyah that the kitchen was behind yet there was hardly anyone there. So we decided to wait. 50min later we asked how much longer she said about 30min We asked where everyone was she said helping in the kitchen. Poor girl felt sorry for her she was the only one that was actually trying. Decided to leave we paid for our drinks and left. Food was delicious! Absolutely no complaint about the food. I wasn't very happy with the service. We waited too long for the server to take our order but it seems she caught up socializing and laughing with her co-workers across the room from us. She also didn't seem to know the menu when we had questions. Other than that, food was excellent! The honkin beef rib was and pork ribs were great portions. Shrimp was excellent.
I usually love my meal at Montanas but the service and the meal were less than desirable. There was no one else in the restaurant when we arrived and our meal took 30 mins to be served. The steak was chewy and dry.
By far the worst dining experience I have ever had. Bad food, which was somehow both cold and burnt, slow, rude service, dirty bathrooms, no atmosphere, manager was MIA. I cannot overstate how bad this experience was. Avoid this location at ALL costs, there are many, many better options in the area.
We stopped here for lunch while exploring Niagara Falls. It has decent pub food, nothing you couldn't get from any other family pub restaurant. The service was friendly and very accomodating which is always nice. My sister really enjoyed the Shrimp Linguini so I would recommend ordering that dish if you are unsure of what to get.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Worst restaurant I have ever been to, not because of the food per se, as our food tasted fine, but in seeing others get up and leave dissatisfied and actually hearing an employee getting yelled at from the kitchen. Additionally, the front of house manager was rude to customers who were not satisfied with their burnt food and incorrect orders. Talk about unprofessional. I have brought up my concerns with Montana's head office. Would never go there again while the existing management is there - terrible way to treat your employees. I have never left an establishment so angry and disgusted.
This is the only restaurant I will eat at in Niagara Falls now!!!!!!! Our server naomi was incredibly attentive to our table and met our every need! The hosts at the front were welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed to know about the menu and all their covid procedures! The restaurant seemed busy and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed but we still were met with amazing service! Their ribs were amazing and came out fairly quickly! My hubby and I both got large ribs, the kids got ribs from the kids menu and the whole family agreed it was amazing! I plan to return on our next trip to Niagara Falls!
i love it here. i went here last night with some friends and it was awesome. the hostess was very sweet and the servers are amazing at what they do. my server Paige was awesome. she's very sweet and is good at what she does. i would recommend eating here and i would definitely come here again.
Very disappointed with my last visit. Heard nothing but great things about it and when I actually tried it myself ....we got our food before we got cutlery ....2nd our order got prosbly forgotten and we watched everyone around us get their food while we were still waiting for ours....then when it finally came ...smh .... my burger was charred and burned as well as I ordered my kid a grilled cheese and was also burned ......
There was one waitress who had a large table of 14 -16 who just keep screaming out their orders, drinks, dessert etc when she would walk out the kitchen which was right beside our table but at least 30 feet from her. We inquired about their sign that states Thursday's $5 beer and $5 burgers. Waitress knew nothing about it. After asking the kitchen she informed us it was a "gimmick" to get ppl in the door and there was no such deal. We ordered another beer but it never arrived...even though we watched our waitress ask the bartender for it...he went for a smoke instead and we never did get the beer. The waitress we had was very timid and we tipped her 20% because i believe she was new and it wasn't her fault. We are in Niagara Falls almost monthly and I was surprised we've never been. Wish I still hadn't.
Ordered the 10 oz striplon and got given something significantly smaller. My girlfriends mac & cheese was cold, lacked bacon, was runny and the cornbread was burnt Server didn't check on the table once and I was unable to complain. Only came back to the table when it was time for us to pay. Feel extremely ripped off especially when paying $30 for a steak. Would not recommend this location to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Went today for lunch. We did need to wait a bit as there was minimal staff. But we were okay with that. Once seated we were met by our waitress named Karen. Let me tell you she was the most nicest waitress we have ever had! You could tell she was doing her very best to keep on top of all of her tables(she was the only waitress in the restaurant). Kudos go out to Karen and the hostess and the line cook. We both had burgers and fries and was well worth the wait! Will definitely be back!
The two waitress let us wait for 10min outside of patio and 20min inside then told us they only have one cook today so we have to wait another 15min for seat.. I said terrible service, then she gave me a middle finger.. Wow.. That is so rude
We ordered takeout and the food was ice cold when we brought it to the car. The food wasn't terrible but no flavor. It is definitely not worth the $75 I spent on everything. I ordered the sauces on the sides and they did not include them in the order. I advised them over the phone twice to place the extra sauces but I guess they don't really care enough to make sure everything is included. I would have called again but it would have taken too long to get my car taken out and drive from my hotel to the restaurant.
Food deplorable. Fries uneatable hard as rock. Burgers burnt and dry. Had to send back 2 out of 4 meals. Even our 7 yr old couldn't eat her burnt burger. Totally untrained staff . No AC. No cutlery or condiments had to wait 10 minutes …
Our biggest mistake may have been that we did not read the google reviews of this restaurant. There is a lot of bad ones. This was our 3rd visit in the last 5 years and the quality of food has deteriorated a lot. We visited on a Sunday evening, place was not busy maybe only 25% full. There was 10 of us, 6 adults and 4 kids. Nice table in the corner , Alex our waiter was excellent and tried his best despite the poor quality of food. The French fries were cold and under cooked , the one burger was under cooked and raw and could not be eaten. My fajitas had no sizzle and were cold. We didn't enjoy our meals. The manager gave us a small discount at the end for our troubles but a large well known chain like should be more on their toes when serving food .We will not return.
So I’ve never had french fries with brown gravy or whatever they call it in Canada. However, they were pretty tasty. Our server was attentive and the service was excellent! The burger was very good, our family had great meals, and it was a perfect complement to visiting Niagara Falls on the Canadian side.
Here is a list of concerns that I tried to bring to the owners/HR's attention but she hung up on me before I could get a breath in and told me I should contact a lawyer if I wanted to talk about my concerns. -Obvious favouritism -New employee's having authority over other employee's in the same position as them -No hair nets, gloves, or masks in the kitchen (except of course when the health inspector shows up) -Employees being told to leave fake 5 star reviews by a manager -Gossip about other employees -Minors working over 14hr shifts a day (consecutively) -Being told not to expect a break and not getting any for shifts over 5hrs (employees rarely getting a break) -Never getting appreciation, praise, constructive criticisms -Supervisor providing drugs at the work place -Noami (general manager) Scheduling interviews and not showing up, proceeding to complain about being understaffed (happened multiple times) -Judgemental negative atmosphere -Servers not completing their tasks, thus the hosts having to complete the servers job which is not in their job description. -People being trained wrong and by new employees and being reprimanded/fired for not doing their job properly because of how they were trained. This Montana's is not only not worth the wait for low quality food but they treat their employees horribly. The owner is rude and managers are unprofessional and definitely need to be put under review.

Went for our Anniversary. Food was terrible. We were told a number of foods especially ribs were not available. My baked potato was cold with no butter or sour cream. My husbands fries were hard and cold. Both of our steaks were cool and tough. Will never eat there again. Very disappointed.
Popped in with friend to grab a bite and drinks. Our server/mgr/bartender Lexi was very attentive and very nice. I didn’t eat but friend did and the rib and wing combo was excellent. Big portions and great value. Simple way to order. Scan QR code and up comes menu. To me service is what makes a place and Lexi was great. Back soon for sure. Gotta say it’s weird but nice without all the people around.

This was absolutely the worst dining experience ever. My actual rating is -5 stars !!! There was no line and my wife Anne I were seated within 10 minutes. After that; it went all down hill from there. Our server took 15 minutes to arrive at the table. We ordered the Kapow shrimp as a starter, 2 iced tea, ribs and the steak striploin. The waitress did not know about the different types of wine and could not advise on a semi-sweet wine. After 45 minutes we finally got the ribs and steak. The ribs appeared to be overcooked and reheated (yes, overcooked and reheated); it was burnt and dry; the potatoes that came with the steak tasted as though it spoiled. I could not eat the ribs and asked for the bill. The bill included the drinks and had to be changed. Still no Kapow shrimp. Please do not visit this location. Please close this location!!!
Worst experience ever at a Montanas. Went there with family tonight 9 of us, the server didn't know what she was doing and came back a 2nd time after taking the order asking again what we ordered. Then some food came out, 20 min later a little more with raw bacon on a steak then 20 mins after that our chicken which came burnt the cream sauce on top of chicken cold as ice. Manager came by and advised that all kitchen staff are new 1 week in. So maybe for being in the heart of attractions they should be closed untill staff know what's going on. Total time almost 2 hours. Then server could not get the bill correct to the point I needed to go with her to the station and tell her what to do.never again will I come to this specific one. Been to many others and never had this experience. Would not recommend at all. After all this had to go to Wendy's to eat.

Ordered southern fried chicken sandwich & pulled pork sandwich. Fries looked like they were cooked 4 times over . Pulled pork was hamburger & chicken as beyond burnt . The servers were excellent & could not apologize more . It was nowhere near their fault that the kitchen dont care what they put over the counter to serve . Most Disgusting thing that was ever put in front of me o eat .
it took them almost 30 minutes to ask what drink we wanted, and another 30 minutes to ask what food we wanted and after about 45 minutes they brought us the food and starters all together. Apart from that, everyone is friendly and the food is good.
Horrible service. If i could give a zero i would. Had to send back our steaks 3 times just to get the toppings that we ordered on it correct. When they brought it back the steak the third time it took the server 20 mins to bring steak knives so we could actually eat. The manager came over and apologized and offered us free dessert each. Unfortunately, we weren't even able to choose a dessert we wanted....they gave us a small container with a few mini donuts (for 2 people)...Never had such bad service in my life. Don't go here unless you want to pay for poor service and cold food.
By far the WORST Montana's I've ever been in. Inside was dirty and dated. Ordered Chicken Ceasar and a burger. Both were burnt and should never have been served to a customer. Server told the table beside us to take her food home and stick it in the microwave for a couple minutes and it wouldn't be so tough. Unbelievably bad place.
Poor service, many items not available. Drive on by.. Worst ever. Will never recommend or visit again. Fill out complaint form, responded to their reply and nothing happened. Total disappointment...try McDonalds at least you know what your getting. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
DO NOT GO TO THIS MONTANA'S This Montana's just full on ripped me off. Ordered take out ... 16 wings and Taster ribs (4 bones) with all sauce on the side ... Ribs had sauce on and got only 2 bones instead of 4 ... wings came with no sauces at all, no sauce on the side, no blue cheese dip AND there were only 15 wings instead of 16 !!! This particular Montana's restaurant is killing the brand.
Nasty supper. Cold meat & shrimp. Was supposed to be medium but came as well done. Sent it back, and they must have warmed it in the mictowave. Just the most awful supper. I couldn't eat it. Manager took our food off the bill. I have never had such an awful supper. Bad night out.
Food was really good. I don't have much else to say. The hostess was fantastic and very friendly. The waitress needs some training. Like really bad. You always follow the steps if service, she did not at any table in her section. ????
Food was good but had no cutlery for my poutine they put lettuce on both sandwiches that did not come with my brisket sandwiche had no BBQ sauce and the bun for the pulled pork sandwich was soggy
