Contacted CertaPro to paint my back deck. The whole process was simple and convenient. From the day of the estimate to the day of the job, I was always in contact with someone to communicate with me on any updates and information regarding the job. A few days before the paint job, a crew came over and power washed the dirt and loose paint off the deck in order to prep it for paint day. They also cleaned up around the yard and picked up any debris that came off before they left. Unfortunately due to weather, the painting day was postponed. However I was contacted and notified by Emily to let me know beforehand, and we worked around my schedule to find the next best day. The day of the job came and the crew did a great job of accommodating me and letting sleep that morning as I had worked overnight. Very mindful of any noise they were making and tried to limit it they best they could. I woke up to a finished deck. The paint comes with a 2 year warranty and was told to contact them again if there were any issues with flaking or cracks and they would happily come back out and fix it. If you’re looking to have a deck painted, highly recommend CertaPro. Very pleased with the whole process from start to finish. Everyone was polite and professional.

What a great experience with Certa Pro! At the first consult my representative was polite, interested and thorough in develop a n estimate and plan for our project. When I needed to call the main office Emily the office manager was friendly informative and knowledgeable. Our crew was AMAZING! They did a fantastic job! We just moved into a 2400 sq ft home that needed a complete paint job. All walls and ceilings. Highly recommend Ken and his team as they were awesome. Sanded walls and 2 coats (and 4 coats for a red room to make sure it was consistent with the prior color match) and fixed more nail holes than could ever be imagined. This is disgusting and I'm embarrassed that you've done this... not to mention the disaster you left my front yard. Paint chips everywhere. We recently used CertaPro to remove 1900 square feet of popcorn ceiling in our new house. They did a wonderful job on the ceilings and touched up the paint on our walls that the tape chipped off. They also did a great job of cleaning up once they were finished. If it wasn't for the freshly done ceilings, we wouldn't have been able to tell they were even there. I am very disappointed in Certa Pro. I was impressed with the estimator. He and I discussed the job. I have a home with aluminum siding that needed to be painted. It was neglected for quite some time by the prior owner and the paint was evenly worn off in parts and chalky in parts. From my perspective, I just wanted the job done right with a good solid company, which is the reason I called Certa Pro. We agreed on a weather dependent start date and agreed that it made sense to use an oil based primer and 2 coats of SW Duration paint. My start date was delayed for a number of weeks because of labor shortages, which I totally understand. The problem was that Certa Pro would not tell me that they didn't have a crew scheduled until the day of or the evening before they were supposed to show up. I understand that and I am willing to wait for the right person to do a good job but 1. they should have given me more notice (I had to move things away from the house and take time off of work to prepare for them each time. If they had told me they were not coming earlier, I would not have had to keep moving things and I could have planned to go into work.) and 2. after all of that, they should have sent a professional team to do the job. There are drips and runs all over and they did not use an oil based primer like the contract required. I also gave them a chip of the accent color and the color they painted does not match. On sunny days, some spots reflect light and some spots absorb light. My neighbor pointed out how bad her side of the house looks too. Now Certa Pro has changed its tune and tells me that an oil based primer was not necessary after all. Certa Pro offered me EITHER a refund of $419 (which they say was the amount built into the contract for the oil based primer coat) OR I pay for work that was not done and they give me a 5 year limited warranty. How very professional of them to offer me a refund for work that they didn't do anyway and leave me holding the bag for their shoddy job. My exposure is having someone scrape, sand and paint in the next few years or reside the home both of which will cost me many thousands of dollars because Certa Pro sent a substandard team to do the job to maximize their profit. Their warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on.

We had many obstacles for them to get over due to the peaks of our home and they did it with no problem or complaints! Great outcome, very professional, and a please to work with! The process was really easy, the estimate was very quick and clear. They were easy to get a hold of, stayed true to their time frame estimates (even in the time of COVID). They gave good instructions for what to expect and so far the paint job looks great. I also like that they have a warranty, so if anything doesn't hold up I can call them in for touch-ups, but hopefully I won't even need to do that! The price was also much lower than one estimate I got and in line with a third estimate I got; even with the paint upgrade.

They pressure washed with a mold killing solution that made a huge difference on our 2 story aluminum sided house. Jeff, the carpenter, did extensive prep work on old, rotted wooden areas. Contacted CertaPro to get an estimate. Estimate was within budget. Job scheduled within timeframe. CertaPro kept me up to date on their scheduling. They showed up on time as promised. The quality of work could not have been any better. They took their time to do all the taping and when it came to painting, did it in stages. This caused minimal interruption to our daily schedule and our dogs using the yard etc. I appreciated that. The professionalism was evident. They did everything needed to keep paint off of patio etc. and they cleaned up every day afterwards. The end result is a phenomenal paint job at a very fair and reasonable price. My first encounter with them was at the Erie County Fairgrounds homeshow. They were the only ones to approach me as I stood at their table. Very pleasent, I made a appointment for them to come out and give a estimate. Steven came out, on time, told him what we wanted. He gave us the price on the spot. We had a really good time with him. Very pleasant. We booked the job. When the crew they sent 2 guys Philip and Julio came, Mat came 3rd day. They finished that day.They were great, ontime, very cordial, and friendly. By the time they were done with the job and it was a big one. Kitchen, dining room, family room and 1 wall was wall papered, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a foyerall the ceilings. I was very pleased. I could not believe that changing a color could make such a difference. They were also very clean and tidy, very respectful. After they left and the paint dried, we noticed a problem with a couple of the doors not closing properly. My husband and I hired Certapro of WNY to paint the exterior of our house. The paint job it self met our expectations. There were a few communication issues though. Anthony came to give us an estimate and was great, very professional. He mentioned that someone would be in contact to power wash the house prior to painting. No one reached out to us to schedule this, I had to call Thursday (painting was scheduled for that upcoming Monday)to inquire as we needed some sort of notice because we have dogs and lock our back gate. Steve that works at the office was helpful in reaching out to that team and called me back to let me know the guys would be out on Friday. We were told on multiple occasions we would need to be home at the teams arrival on and at the time of completion to do a final walk through so I made arrangements to be home those 2 days. On Tuesday when the job was complete we were supposed to do a final walk through but when I looked out the window at 4pm the team was gone!! So I made arrangements to be home for nothing! The next morning we received a call asking us why the remaining balance due has not been submitted. Apparently instructions on how to pay the remaining balance would have been went over with us to during the final walk through that we never received. Here is the part that really annoyed me the foreman LIED to the office and said he did the walk through with my husband (who wasn't even home)! He even provided false details such as "spoke to the husband and final payment will be made when his wife gets home in 15 minutes". I was home the whole time, no knock on the door or ring of the doorbell to attempt to do the final walk through. There was tape and paper left on top of the garage roof that we would have liked to point out if we would have gotten the opportunity. Overall, the job met our expectations but the disregard for our time and the lie told by the foreman were disappointing.

On agreement as part of the contract, they also rehabilitated some window frames and a garage door frame, and the carpentry was excellent. It took a month or more between the signing of the contract and the start of the job, of course - good contractors are busy contractors. But once they agreed on a date and time, they were on time within a 15 minute window. They were finished with the entire house by the next afternoon. They were respectful of our things, including our plants as much as possible. They cleaned up very well. They take pride in their results, and it shows. Great visit with estimator Steve who answered every question I had and gave me some information I did not even know I needed.
