"Some murals in downtown Fredericton are not good enough", Pataki-Thériault says Art snobbery is a surefire way to discourage patronage. I certainly won't be supporting your business again.

Downtown Fredericton has on of the most fabulous galleries you must see. Gallery 78 is one of most incredible art gallery's I've seen in along time. Amber Leger's work has topped my charts and simply blown me away with her work. The Staff here at Gallery 78 are very helpful and courteous. At my last visit at gallery, the owner wanted to know if there was anything she could help me with. Told her I need to speak to Amber as I was very interested in meeting with her. The owner went out of her way to have her contact me. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great gallery to visit this would be the one to see. I give this gallery 5 thumbs up and another to Amber and her beautiful pieces of work available here at Gallery 78. Go and visit the beautiful work they have on display today! Don't miss out! Here's another 5 stars to the incredible staff at GALLERY !!!!!!

My experience at Gallery 78 could not be better. It's an amazing environment in a magnificent house, inside and outside with incredibly kind people in charge. The reputation of the gallery is completely justified.

Absolutely fabulous Art Gallery. I've bought a few pieces from Gallery 78 and I love them so much! The service at Gallery 78 is so good! And they really make you feel at home. I will definitely be coming back.

I was appalled at how we were treated when we walked through the door. My parents were here from out of town to pick up a painting from a local artist, we decided to gallery hop while they're here to try to find a few small pieces to cluster. Our second stop today was Gallery 78, we walked through the door and it was immediately made very clear that we were not welcome. They appeared to be hosting a private event, but they didnt even bother to say so. The experience left a very bad taste in our mouths! Of the numerous art galleries I have been in, I can honestly say I've never once felt more uncomfortable or been treated poorly! Had they simply said "we are hosting a private event, but you're welcome to take a quick look", or at least explained in a polite and professional manner that they were closed to the public (although it was during open hours that this occured), we would have completely understood. Absolutely horrible experience and we will never be back, there are plenty of other galleries who don't mind selling to us!

The warmest and most inviting atmosphere I've experienced in an art gallery. I had no idea how many incredible artists there were around Atlantic Canada— and with such a diverse range of styles! From paintings to pottery, to sculptures and jewelery, to photography and even paper maché(!) there's something nestled away in every corner of this amazing Queen Anne revival heritage home. The turret room is especially beautiful, and usually showcases new works from one of their artists. And new things come in all the time, so every month or so it showcases a whole new variety of works. I never thought I'd be able to purchase anything (at least not at this point in my life), but there are a surprising amount of works which are affordable. My favorites being some woodfired mugs I've purchased as gifts. Hands down one of my favorite places to explore in Fredericton. Check it out!

It was nice meeting David Mckay and his older brother Larry. It's nice to know that one of Canada's greatest Painters reside in my neighbourhood and I can just walk up the stairs and say hello. I hope I can attend David's 50 years Painting anniversary in November 2022.

The first show I was ever included in was at Gallery78, the staff and owners are simply amazing, their displays are so wonderfully set up. Every section of the gallery has beautiful pieces from different artists, with new pieces always arriving. I deffintally recommend checking them out in person if possible or to browse through their website.

Terrific gallery featuring many New Brunswick's talented artists. Extraordinary collections. Gallery 78 is my go to gallery despite the fact that I have lived much of my life outside of Canada and a good portion in Ontario. Shipped items are packaged safely…never a problem. The owner Germaine and Kim are knowledgeable and never flag when I want to see more and more! Highly recommend. For tourists it is just across the street from the renowned Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

"Kindly note that Germaine was chosen to make this presentation to council, and she simply passed on the words from the collective Arts & Culture Advisory Committee (those exact words were not her own)." Presenting those words means that she supports this, regardless if those "exact" words were hers or not. If she didn't support it, she should have asked for someone else to present this absolute trash. Elsewise, if you decide to play politics instead of doing the right thing, don't be shocked when you receive backlash. I can't support a gallery that supports attacking and putting down other artists - especially in such a publicly humiliating way. Diversity and inclusivity in art and styles brings vibrancy and authenticity. We want to celebrate the diversity in our community instead of shutting it down. Cookie-cutter approved from a council of pretentious snobs playing "favouritism" games ain't it. Do better.

For me, Gallery 78 is the best in New B. This house and gallery is so beautiful and magic. The welcome is always warm and professional. The artists at 78 are all impressive and professionals, and the selection is well diversified. For an art lover like me, an opening, an event or just a visit at Gallery 78 is always a moment of pleasure and deep emotions.
