CarStar was the place my insurance company said I would have to take my 2016 Mazda CX-3 to for repairs following an accident in April. Jason and Megan Ross were the people in charge of repairing my vehicle with a total bill of about $3,000 plus. It took them a little more than two weeks to fix the car. When it was returned, the car sounded as bad as it did right after the accident. The AC wasn’t working. The headlamp had condensation on the inside. When I picked up the car, of course, I paid my deductible. I was handed a life-time warranty for the repairs made to the car. After a series of events, I took the car back because the AC was still not working -- I’d taken it to another mechanic to get the exhaust fixed -- and the headlamp was still getting condensation. The first time, they said they were going to contact the insurance company and get back to me. A week had passed and I still hadn’t heard. I drove it back a second time and a third time and finally they kept it-- saying they were going to take a look and repair. I got a call a few days later saying the seal was broken on the headlamp and the AC couldn’t be fixed and I have to put it through my manufactures warranty. I said “No, you folks repaired the AC and it’s not working. Fix it.” They said again I’d have to take it to Mazda. After that we went to pick it up and this time the engine light was on. It was NOT on when we dropped it off. Jason, the owner, gave my boyfriend a very off-putting, rude answer when he asked him why they wouldn’t repair the car. We ended up making an appointment with Mazda. They inspected the work and compared it off the sheet CarStar gave me and discovered parts were missing, bolts and screws were missing -- my radiator -- a pretty essentially piece of the car was not secured and banging up against my engine. Days later, Mazda service (great, excellent and wonderful team) had gone behind CarStar and cleaned up the mess apart from the headlamp (which alone costs $1,400 to replace). They dealt with the adjust and provided the job wasn’t done properly and was as a result of the accident. My insurance then paid out $1,200 more dollars to repair the work they had told me was warrantied. CarStar was not only unhelpful, but they were dismissive of me and my concerns in regard to their work. They not only refused to repair their mistakes but disregarded a warranty signed by the owner.

Our car is a less common burgundy and they did a perfect job fixing it after it got hit in a parking lot. Not only that, they fixed a ding in our other car for free when someone opened a door into our car. Great service, perfect job.

Do not waste your money and your time, I took my car there for repair, after I picked it up i noticed the outdoor temperature is not working, I called them and took my car there again, "Jason" who is a unprofessional and uneducated manager, says yea we forgot to properly plug in the temperature system after the repair, and it seems like the rained has damaged the system and needs to be replaced, however we won't pay for the repair :O :O I won't recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional services.

The girl at front desk is very honest as is another lady there. I was looking to get an estimate for rust around a ford 2010 escape, it's wheel wells and they were honest enough to refer me to someone locally who specializes in rust. Someone told me about this place but it is a nice collision centre:)

Visit hear at your own RISK. Had an accident and my insurance company told me to drop my car at this location for repair. When i dropped my car they didn’t even came out to check the damage . They told me that they have pictures of damage. Got call after 5 days to pick my car . The new paint was full of dust . Body gaps was not proper . Damaged my door paint. Then i told them the mistakes they did. They guy and lady at front told me that ‘ we will let our technician know and you can pick your car after 2 days. Went again . There so call technician did not cover the engine bay while painting the car which results overspray of paint all over the engine and even painted the headlight . I asked lady, she gave me answer that if we cover the engine bay it could catch fire. She didn’t gave clear answer to my any question. Her words was - YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR CAR, I HAVE OTHER STUFF TO DO. She told me that their manager will answer my question but i never heard anything from manager. Afterall, one plastic piece was still wrong, they ordered wrong part for 3 times. After more than a month got call to get that part. Fixed the part . Driving home , their so called technician left the screw driver on windshield which could result in big accident while driving on highway it could have flawn away and get into someones windshield or tire , which could have result in fatal incident. I think All Techinicians learned all from youtube . Still body gaps are not proper but not letting them to work on it . They will cause more damage to it. Riping off the customer and dont even know how to work on cars. All pictures are attached as proof-

I went to CARSTAR Fredericton to fix my engine shield, they charged me 224.03$ for new front and rear engine shield and told me it's fixed. But today when I went to get my engine oil changed, I came to know that my shield appears to be the same and with similar problem. I went back to CARSTAR Fredericton to check, they took the car in and told me there is just minor issue and they gonna fix it. This is just bad on their part if they did not changed it before because customer goes to them based on their reputation as they have partnership with different insurance companies as well. Never expected such kind service from them. Also attaching the receipt from them and the receipt I got from other place from where I found out it's not fixed.

I went to Carstar to get an estimate on a minor repair after an accident I had. I never thought that I would ever feel like I was being taken advantage of by a company that usually has such a good reputation. However, I was completely wrong. After a long wait for the estimate that I booked an appointment for, they told me that I would need a whole new bumper along with other parts due to a broken bracket that they could not fix. Luckily for me, I felt that this could not be right considering it was a fairly minor accident and my bumper really only needed some new paint. I went to a different business to get it fixed and when I went to pick up my car, I was informed that my bracket was broken on my bumper BUT a bracket can be replaced for $9.00. Carstar tried to get me to buy a whole new bumper for $300.00 when in reality, this was an easy fix that would only cost me an extra $9.00. Carstar gave me an estimate that was double the amount of the business I did end up going to. The business I did go to for the repair were amazing and did not try to take advantage of me and the repairs were perfect. Whether it was Carstar being ignorant to the fact that a bracket can simply be replaced rather than a whole bumper, or Carstar was outright lying to me, this is not okay! I will not be going back to Carstar and will not recommend them to anyone.

My wifes car got sideswiped in a parking lot, of course, no note!! Anyway we brought it to the new location of Carstar in the north and they did a bang up job! (pun intended) We couldnt be happier, it looks brand new. Very easy to deal with too. Highly recommended.

Friendly people good service ok work but left with a mess underhood and in my car underhood looks like a can of freon blow up on them and they couldn't clean it so they took if for a drive down a dusty road so that the dust would stick to the freon to hide mess wish I could post a picture as its nasty
