Good place to learn arts in a systematic manner. Highly recommended for kids . Reasonably priced and located at the heart of Brampton. Curriculum is well planned and executed.

I called visual arts and spoke with Paulina about booking a private event to learn more about live drawing. She came across very helpful and excited to book my event. She took down my information to inform the admin team to see if this would be allowed. Matt (who is on the board) called me back (a few days later) to inquiry more about the event i wanted to host for my friends. He told me, he had to go back to the admin team to find an instructor and to see if the space would be available for my desired time and date. He called me back hours later to inform me that my event would be approved and I needed to come in on Saturday to pay the deposit (which i had no issues with), before hanging up the phone I asked if it would be possible to get a black male model for my event, but also told him it wasn't required. Hours later Matt left a message on my phone saying that they weren't able to host my event anymore. I called him back and he said he wouldn't be able to host "this" type of event. Now I was confused because my event was booked and confirmed but when i mentioned the black model it became an issue which i found very weird, is it because the studio found out that it would be hosting an event for black women wanting to learn more about art? was it because i asked about a black model? When I asked these questions he then replied saying we can't host this type of event, i explained to him that this appeared to come from a racist standpoint due to it not being an issue then founding out we were black females asking for a black model our event was then cancelled. I spoke with the president of the studio and she could not provide me with an answer as to why it was suddenly cancelled. she did end up offering for me to continue to host my event there but I was not given an apology for the words that was used by Matt or by them cancelling my event without cause. This studio refused to take any responsibility. I have chosen to decline the president's offer to host my event here due to this social justice/racial issue.

My son really enjoyed his art classes here. It was really great to see his progression throughout his time there and watch him applying new techniques and styles to his own art at home. He made some great friends that he still connects with today even after his course ended and he really took on a passion for art through taking these classes. We are excited to be enrolling him again for a full year in the fall. They also have an award ceremony celebration at the end of the year for the students and families to get together, eat pizza, have refreshments and snacks and check out all the amazing work they have done throughout the course. We look forward to visiting again soon. Everyone there has been so friendly, welcoming and have always taken the time to go over any questions we had.

Very warm & welcoming atmosphere. I've gone there as an... I don't know, "subject to paint" a handful of times. It's amazing seeing how others see you, because every mind is different. Anywonk, I highly recommend this place.

Excellent place for children to learn basics of art and also to develop their skills to draw, paint and design crafts. Good, dedicated staff. Only one that offers a full year program in Brampton!

Quite honestly it's difficult to say whether this place is or isn't good. We, as parents do not get to go inside and see the environment nor do we get much in the way of feedback. Kids go in and come out with interesting artwork, but getting much details from preschoolers is no easy task. Not sure if the instructor talks about and explains art, if the kids are shown pictures or videos, or how the subjects of the day are picked or anything else about the process really. The man at the door welcoming and sending off the kids is polite and caring, that much I can tell. The school itself and the instruction, that much I can't.
