Ordered more than $1000 worth of wallpaper ($120 per double roll, PLUS shipping). Needed one more roll, and it would have been almost $160. Decided to look online, and I could get it for $30 per roll, LANDED cost from Germany (where it's made). Service was great, but when it's a 300% markup, yeah I'd provide great service as well. Companies like this are why 'shop local' is a bad idea. EDIT: There are a few inaccuracies in your follow up. You state that you can't compete on scale, yet you're receiving your product from a warehouse in Ontario, where logically speaking, they shouldn't have the same problem of scale. Furthermore, you saying you can't get good prices because of scale is rather disingenuous considering my scale is even smaller than yours, yet the product only cost 25% as much. What isn't debatable is that there are *massive* markups along your logistical chain, to the degree that no amount of good service or desire to support local can overcome - $350 online (total landed cost for 11 rolls) turning into $1180 (for 9 rolls) at the retail level is simply unjustifiable. Note from the attached picture that their price for EIGHT rolls is only ~$18 more than ONE from you. This is not an issue of 'scale'. PS. My order even came faster from Germany via DHL than it did from your Ontario warehouse, so ... yeah, there's that too.

Really great service! I’ve been in there so many times being indecisive, every staff member was very helpful offering tips and advice with no pressure to buy. When I finally decided my order was whipped up so fast and wheeled out to my vehicle for me. I really appreciate that I was sold the appropriate products for the job I was doing and not upsold for the most expensive product. My project turned out perfectly!

Went to Freddie's paint store for the first time yesterday February 25 th 2021 a very nice lady helped me and my boyfriend find the paint colour we wanted from a picture on my phone she even kindly showed me a bunch of paint chips and made sample paint for us unfortunately I didn't get her name but she is a very nice lady ???? thank you for your help we will be shopping here in the future for paint ????
