Rushed out the door on a friday afternoon with loose crooked parts. Very poor worksmanship i could move my brushguard and its half an inch higher on one side.rattle rattle rattle with every bump .would not recommend this place youll have to pay someone else to tighten and align any new parts. Brought my truck back to be fixed again and got it back with a bad leak in my rear differential . More repairs on my dime (what did they do to my truck), from troubles that suddenly appear when i got my vehicle back. 13 oct till10 of nov they had my truck. I got it back long enough to replace a power steering pump and fan belt. Back to carstar on the 14 for another new brushguard(guess their loose brush guard bent the brackets) get it back with a leak in my rear diff that took 900ml to fill. No leaks before i dropped it off. This accident definately didnt unhappen

I wouldn't recommend Carstar if it was the last repair shop on the planet!!!! After taking my truck there after an accident with a deer. The truck was gone for 3 weeks, when I went to get it back, the truck was not repaired properly. There was grease all over the fenders, the fender liner on the passenger side was laying on the tire, the alignment had to be redone, the front bumper is on crooked. When I brought up the issues to the Manager "Angus" , an argument ensued. The alignment was redone after I complained to my insurance adjuster. The only reason I got an apology was because I had to mention how rude it is to interrupt someone with speech issues. Save yourself the pain and trouble, take your work elsewhere.










Car went in for rear end collision damage, (not at fault accident, referred by insurance company) replaced bumper, trunk pan and rear reinforcement. Discovered floor of trunk pan has ripped and separated, so just a tad bit disappointed with repairs. Car must go back, going to be extra work to undo current damage. Plus stuff missed from original collision, cracked paint in trunk lid, chunk missing from taillight. Shop was nice and offered to repair it. I like my car too much, drove around the country in it, good memories, etc. Don't want to lose it write off because shop can't fix it aka all the extra work exceeds whatever its worth to fix it, kind of afraid to bring it back. If I can't be confident in first repair, what makes me think the second one with more work is going to be satisfactory or not. Not trying to be negative, just my thoughts on the idea. Shop manager and staff are easy to deal with. That is all I have to say.





When I first got into my accident I was so unsure on what to do . Carstar Sydney guided me all the way through the process . rental was on site when I arrived was so convenient . After the repairs they even cleaned my car !!!!!I would recommend anyone in an accident to contact them . Meranda was so helpful . plus star service :)

If I could give a 0 I would. The only thing that was good to me about going here in the end was the fact their staff was friendly. I was rear ended in a car accident. My rear bumper was badly damaged along with my trunk door. I drive a hatchback style car. I was told by my insurance company to take to to CARSTAR. Once the parts were in, I was told when to bring it in and that a rental would be available. Which I did and within a week I was contacted to come and pick up my car, which I did. I will admit I didn't look closely when I picked my car up, but from what I could see it looked as good as new. About a week later, while running errands I noticed that on my trunk door, on the inside where the latch is, the paint was chipped, cracked and peeling. Where it was peeling and cracked was from the accident I assumed as it was on the opposite side of the trunk door of where I got hit. I don't use my trunk a whole lot so I didn't even think to check it before bringing it in for repairs, but I assumed that this would be something THEY would have done. After speaking to my insurance they told me to contact CARSTAR. Which I did and it seemed like they were confused about it. I said I would bring it in and show them. I also noticed on the bottom of the rear bumper, that there was a dip happening and upon closer inspection it looked like it was dipping because it needed another bolt for support to hold it in place. When I took it in for their inspection they admitted that it was missing the 4th bolt and that they HAD NOT checked the inside of the trunk door. They then took pictures and said they would send them to my insurance and be in touch. I said thanks and left. That was on a Thursday or Friday. The following week I get an email from my insurance saying the claim is closed. Confused I contacted my insurance. Turns out that CARSTAR's computer crashed and when it got fixed they "forgot" to send the pictures. CARSTAR called me late that week and asked me to bring my car back for a second time so they can fix it the second time. The following Tuesday I drop my car off for repair and then get a call the next day to say it is ready, I go to pick up my car and notice in the front there is a new crack. I will admit I did not take pictures before dropping it off, which I wish now I had. I also looked at the rear bumper and it still had the dip. At this point, I just wanted my car and to be honest I no longer trust this company with a toy metal car. Just as I was getting my keys from the receptionist, the manager was walking by, "Angus", I believe his name is, well jokingly I said to everyone, "No offense guys, but hopefully I never see ya's again." And the manager turns and says, "Well not until the next one right?" To me that was almost like wishing that. The only damage my car has ever endured in the 2.5 years I've owned it is from this accident. I have a job that requires me to drive a lot of long distances and I have only been driving that car for the last 2.5 years. I would rather pay out of my own pocket to repair any future damage to my car than to ever go back to CARSTAR. I DO NOT AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.





be careful if you have to rent a car from this place. i had a rental with a damaged vehicle, a tiny little scratch on the bumper , during the walk through on a rainy day. i wasn't able to see it. (my fault too that i didnt check very very carefully) the car was stored in condition that no way it can get damaged. so i did not make the damage. but they blamed it on me and billed me $500 for a tiny scratch that wasn't caused by me. also on the bill it looks like they will put 2 hours of sheet metal labour on a plastic bumper. very creative.





The dealer was open on Christmas eve to get my car repaired. Winter is here and if I didn't have my car I wouldn't have made it home that night. Thank you Carstar Sydney for great updates and solid customer service. Front to back an amazing business.
