I highly recommend this company, especially for those who might have property in Halifax/Dartmouth they need help with, but can't get to. I am in another province and wasn't able to travel to my rental home. There were major repairs to be done after tenants and a previous contractor left work unfinished. There was drywall repair, exterior windows to be repaired and painting, flooring to be redone and interior painting. John took pictures, created a detailed invoice, and took before and after pictures of his work so I could trust him every step of the way. As a homeowner several provinces away I felt confident leaving my home in the care of John at Seaside Painting & Home Improvement. I was given options for my budget and the work was done quickly and with care, thank you John!

John and team painted our 1600 sq ft house interior over a long weekend (!!) between closing day and moving day, to give us a clean slate on move-in. Since we were moving from Ontario all of our back and forth was over email, text and phone, and his communication was great throughout -- clear estimates, lots of photos over text about whether things need another coat or if a ceiling needed attention, and regular updates about how things were going. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, and the results were great -- including a bunch of wall prep from 30 years of nails and anchors. Pricing was reasonable, and when anything did need more work than originally estimated John was very clear on what it would cost. Afterwards the place was left spotless. We'll definitely reach out to Seaside next time we need painting done!

Seaside Painting is the best. PERIOD. If I could give this business 10 stars I would. Where do I begin!! My wife and I contacted many contractors about painting the outside of our house. The quotes we were getting were outrageous. I am taking thousands more. All we wanted was a good exterior paint job. So I search endlessly on yelp and google and came across Seaside Painting. I definitely thought he was too good to be true!! He's not people, he is real!! John came to our house, I could not believe how professional this gentleman was! Just a very honest, kind and hard-working man. You can really tell he takes pride in what he does. He looked over our house and gave us a honest quote. We hired him immediately. He came in when promised, prepped and then painted. So organized, respectful and clean. They did the best job ever!! I wish I met John before we moved into our home so I could have used him for our interior painting as well. I will definitely be using Seaside again. They're truly that good.

Seaside Painting is a 5 star service! We just relocated to NS from Ontario and our new home required painting. I reached out to John and immediately he responded with a proposed date to come in and take care of the painting. There was A LOT of painting to be done. They were extremely professional and results were amazing! I just cant thank Seaside enough for the outstanding work. I highly recommend this service! Update: we used Seaside Painting services again for our accent walls. Extremely pleased with quality of work. Love the new colour "Renaissance Tapestry".
