Contacted Valois right before the weekend with photos of the areas we wanted the work to be done. We wanted our staircase painted and wall paper removed in a bedroom. Dan (the owner) responded super quickly, from the beginning to end of our experience he was a great communicator. Quoted us and came to us the following Tuesday. He arrived on time as scheduled and was super efficient. We are extremely pleased with how our walls look! Great customer service from the very start. Super friendly, I'd highly recommend Valois Painting to all my friends and family. 100/10!

Dan has a keen attention to detail, which was evident by the questions he asked prior to starting the project, when stuff came up during the project and upon seeing the rooms finished. He was resourceful and helpful in presenting options when I wasn't sure. It was a rental unit that I needed painted and he was great in working with the tenants to make sure their furniture was protected. He was flexible and managed to complete the project in a longer than anticipated day, in order to minimize disruption and the need to come back another day. Dan's standards left me with confidence that I chose the right painter for the job and he did not disappoint.

All the work done in our house was done in an acceptable time frame and with no paint on the hardwood floors or carpet. We hired him for 2 rooms in our house and the exterior of our house. I found Dan on his website with a simple search. He is now completing his third job for us. The first one was a complete color change in my daughters bedroom (maroon to turquoise) , the second a total color change (deep red to beige) in a basement suite kitchen, and the rest of the suite. Now Dan is here painting our high traffic hallway. Words to describe Dan and his work: diligent, detailed, knowledgeable, honest, value added , personable, great value and high quality. I do not hesitate to recommend Dan's work and skills. When we sold our basement home the buyers said the paint job in the basement sold it for us! Like I said value added. I won't use another painter - ever, neither will you once you see the quality of Dan's work.

My husband and I met Dan this spring to get a quote for our brand new preschool location in Cloverdale. Dan was very thorough with his pricing and agreement and very knowledgeable with regards to different paints for particular rooms. Dan from Valois Painting painted the exterior of our house at the end of September. I asked him to quote due to his A+ BBB rating and exprience, and I am glad I chose him to do the work. Our house has never looked better, as a matter of fact some other trade people asked if we replaced the aluminium siding as it now looks like it is new (not bad for a house that is almost 40 years old)! First he power washed the house, and got the colours I wanted. Then he worked like a dog to get it done. My wife and I are both very happy with the results, so much so that we are getting him to paint the interior as well. This glowing review was NOT solicited or paid for by Dan or anyone else, it merely reflects our satisfaction with his work!
