KCB redid my kitchen & two bathrooms. I gave them the measurements for my refrigerator & they did not calculate the width of the space to fit the refrigerator wide enough. So the first time I went to open the left door, I could not open it completely. So unable to open the deli drawer also. When I went to replace my dishwasher, the plumber I hired to install it had to replumb all the pipes to the dishwasher plus redo the wiring because both were not done to code. I was having problems with the sink not draining properly, so again called a plumber who had to open up the ceiling in the basement & fix more plumbing from their renovation. Has cost me significantly since my renovation. My recommendation to people using KCB, make sure they are using journeymen workers & that the electrical & plumbing are for to code & that you have it inspected before your renovation is done. Check & double check their work.

We just finished our kitchen Reno and I am blown away with the end result!!! Everyone at KCB was a pleasure to deal with, they were all very knowledgeable and listened to what we wanted plus gave suggestions on how to improve flow and functionality. The people that came to our house were all very friendly and didn't mind the kids wanting to watch and even let them help with a few things. I would highly recommend KCB for any renovation.....be prepared to have your socks blown off!!!!

The daily communications through the app, regular emails and phonecalls were fantastic as they kept us in the loop with what was going on and helped explain the renovation process details step-by-step, including a specific timeframe for each stage of project completion. They went above and beyond to make sure the area was as clean and as contained as possible (keeping out dust / debris / building materials) in order to minimize the disruption to our home during the renovation. Ours was a small job compared with some of the major projects outlined on the KCB website but everyone we dealt with treated it like a major project. The skill level for everyone involved was very high from Royce (Sales Manager), Sheldon (Project Supervisor), and all 3 tradesmen involved (carpenter, plumber, and tile installer). They were all professionals and they were very friendly to deal with as well. We love the new shower in our cabin! We would definitely recommend KCB Cabinets & Renovations.

They put in new countertops, island top and new sink. My showroom experience was good as they asked the questions that I needed to know to choose my options. They found the sink I wanted. The installer Brendan was so professional and does exceptional work. The plumber got us all connected and up and running the same day. Everyone cleaned up after themselves, was Covid-safe, and when they left, we were very very pleased with the work. We got our new countertops through KCB. They came in at the lowest quote with countertops vs. big stores like Home Depot and Rona. As well, they had the countertops built and installed within a week after I paid the deposit and booked a date. KCB was hired to upgrade our kitchen and two bathrooms by replacing the counter tops, sinks, taps and toilets. We were very impressed with how Cathryn helped us finalize the selection of materials for the counters and backsplash. Brian did an excellent job of ensuring the counter tops were correctly manufactured and installed. Right after the installation of the counter tops Steve was able to install the new sinks, taps and toilets. To finish the project, Dolibor installed the backsplash in the kitchen. During the three days the workers were on site, the area was kept free of debris and mess. In searching for quality, but also affordable counter tops for our lake lot house, we reached out to several companies for quotes on quartz counter tops. Upon reaching out to KCB Cabinets, Cathryn Depta responded to our call and it was an instant relationship over the phone, and with our meeting in person there was an even better connection. Cathyrn is down to earth, friendly and knows her product. She is extremely easy to talk to and can answer all your questions. We will be honest and say that we did have some delays, but this was because KCB Cabinets only wanted to provide quality work to their customers. Because of the length of our counter tops, we needed a cut, which is normal. The material received for our reno was rejected; which we were not expecting. But because of the design in the counter tops chosen, no matter how the cut was made, the product design would not match and line up. Imagine trying to fit two pieces of puzzle together that look like they fit, but actually don’t; and what the end picture would look like…….. The quality control that took place to ensure the product was top notch, was and is top notch. It was frustrating to say the least, but we totally understood the circumstances; it’s better to have an end product that is perfect than something that is flawed, after all you want what you pay for. In the end, even though our install date was pushed, the delay was escalated and the push from Catheryn and her team did not go unnoticed, and we didn’t have to wait that much long. We appreciated the upfront honesty because now our counter tops are installed, and they look amazing. The installers were also very professional, clean and friendly. They were well trained in counter top installs. Even though we had delays, we are still writing a positive review because of the honesty and open communication.
