In Nov 2020, I had called to get a quote on a remote car starter as I had purchased a vehicle that did not have one. Gave all the details of the vehicle, including that it was a button start. Was quoted for base model for $400. I put this item on my Christmas list to all those that might want to contribute instead of purchasing a gift and my family put together the funds for me to have it for a Christmas gift. The facilitator of it all called mid-Dec and was quoted $499 for same starter i was. I went in to reserve an install time and was told $550. I went ahead and booked and then in discussion found out about the $499 quote and when Courtney called to confirm appointment yesterday, I asked why the different prices. She couldn't answer why but confirmed it was $550 for the model that I had chosen. (Base model VIPER ) When she called to advise the vehicle was ready, she kindly offered it to me at $499 plus gst. For which I am grateful, thank you. I picked up the vehicle and it wouldn't start. Apparently that the door was left open with dome lights on for entire installation and drained the battery. Then it required a boost and apparently I was to be advised of this when I was paying for it, rather I paid and went out to the vehicle to find this out. As the battery was over 5 years old, it most likely needed to be replaced, however, having this issue in the middle of my work day was not exactly convenient. Having taken the receipt and keys etc and the booklet for the starter was left in the vehicle, once it was boosted I went to purchase a new battery for the vehicle. Got home from that and discovered that the starter that was installed was NOT what I had ordered. I contacted Courtney again and asked about this. I was advised that she was not there when the car was taken in this morning. I asked why I was not called and since she was aware that the reason the Viper was chosen over the Clifford (yes I am aware same manufacturer) was the shape of the keyfob was compatible in shape with the fob for the vehicle. Again, she didn't know. And then informed that there was a 6 week back order for them. I fail to understand why the reservation for installation for the Viper was taken, offered and sold to me if this is indeed the case. I also fail to understand why I was not called and informed. So instead of being happy and excited about my Christmas present, I am disappointed and have spent the better part of my day dealing with this. I chose the Car Salon based on reputation & experience with other purchases in the past. I will reconsider that in the future. **Edited - Car Salon contacted me when they had the Viper remotes in stock and I went to change them out. Much appreciated for the prompt attention. I still believe that the communication was severely broken & at any point along the way, I should have been informed about the inventory issue. Thank you for rectifying.

The customer service at the Car Salon is outstanding!! The staff are all friendly and welcoming. It is so refreshing to visit a business where you are valued as a customer. This has been my second time here. I have an older, well... really old CompuStar remote car starter that was installed on my 2008 car back in 2008! (not installed by the car salon). It has a habit of going into valet mode after a battery change and I am not able in any way to get it off that mode. I took it here first in Oct 2019 and they were awesome and helpful fixed it quick and got me on my way. I took it here today for the same issue being stuck in valet mode after a recent battery change. What is really important to me and stands out about this place is that they didn't try to sell me a new remote starter or something I didn't need. They fixed what I have already have installed/wired... to me that is like winning the lottery. I always believe if something still works then why get rid of it? They also advised me that if in the future things start to go wonky on it they can change out parts to upgrade portions of it or whatever the case may be. Wonderful!! I'm your customer for life! It really feels great to go somewhere you can trust.

Careful with this place! Their customer service was so bad when I went in and booked a remote car starter install in person that I cancelled it before the appointment because I couldn't give my hard earned money to a shop who acts like that in person to their customers or let them work on my vehicle. It's worth shopping around!

I went there to get front end work on my truck and was happy with the time frame not so happy with the price but what can you do. I had to think about it and being that my truck is old like me the rusted bolts and etc. would certainly take time so I think the price was OK.

I brought my black 2012 Mazda 6 to get fixed awhile ago. It is under lifetime warranty. Very thankful for that. My car was in a bad spot. Drunk driver hit it, parked outside our house, hit it so hard it flew into the wife's ( ex-wife now ) car and totaled the front and back. THEY WERE AWESOME AT SAVING IT!!! Very happy for that. Had to cut corners in order to be able to salvage it. I was ok with that. Now it is showing some significant wear. I hope I can get the repairs done as it is under warranty. Got my entire sound system replaced with an amplifier in my vehicle and they did a bang on job! Actually they did such a good job of hiding the amp and wiring setup that the guy handing me my keys back actually couldn't find it ????. These guys definitely know what they are doing and their technical knowledge was on point.

Attention Management: We brought in our new Volvo 2021 Xc 40 to have full PP installed on the hood. In order to do that they needed to remove the partial hood film already installed. During the removal process a paint chip occurred on the hood just above the partial film. I was reassured that they would repair it and it would not be noticeable. When we picked it up on Saturday we were very disappointed that it was still very noticeable. How do you suggest we resolve this as we are very unhappy with the result on our new car.

We are currently in a polar vortex and it is -40°C outside. The fan for the heater in my van (Plumbing company, van has been running 48 hours straight almost) failed and needed to be replaced. These guys took my VIN over the phone and had the parts there by the time I dropped it off, not 2 hours later I was back on the road nice and toasty. Overly impressed, will be bringing my personal vehicle here in the future!

Be careful if you order rust check service here. I got mine done today and the bottom and all the highly exposed areas were left out. I contacted them when I noticed it at home. and I was told the service I ordered did not include the areas I was complaining about. Apparently, there is another, more expensive service I should have ordered. Yet, the website shows what rust check is about but apparently it does not explain what you will get exactly for the type of service I ordered. I got oil in door cavities, hidden, secondary surfaces but all primary surfaces remained unprotected on my vehicle for this winter. I paid about the same for this limited service than for a full oil spraying service somewhere else last year. I am more than disappointed, and I feel deceived.

Got what I went there for, but not a single employee had a mask on and I'm sure they didn't wear one while in my vehicle. Being high risk, this is a concern. If they don't care about Alberta mandates and safety of others, I want nothing else to do with them.

I was quoted a price on a wrap on the phone after sharing photos to ensure they were accurate with the project. Two weeks later (day before the appointment) they called and tried to increase the price by 2.5 times... Needless to say I won't be dealing with them!

Great communication in following up with me after he checked availability. Installation was fast and Quintin completed the final invoicing and ensured the vehicle was cleaned. Amazing experience! I went in for rust protection and ended up getting my vehicle detailed as well. The staff are super friendly and they do such a great job. My vehicle was returned to me much cleaner than when I dropped it off. I am incredibly impressed with the Car Salon. Bought a new car and wanted Undercoating and Paint Protection Film installed in December 2020. The Service was Outstanding. Done on time and $700.00 cheaper than the dealer!! Also more areas of the SUV covered with PPF than the dealer quote. Spoke to Steve also about a Compustar Remote Starter. He is very knowledgeable and is very customer service oriented. I returned today to have the remote starter installed. I had asked for help with placing the wiring for a gifted dash cam while the trim was off. Completed perfectly and in record time today. He reviewed all the functions and operations. I would not hesitate to use the Car Salon for any further services they provide. And I would highly recommend you ask for Steve. He doesn't own the business, but treats customers like he does! Thanks Again!

The worst customer service and bunch of recist in there. We were there for remote starter carrying baby and waiting for more than 15 minutes. There were 5 customer services and none of them asked us what we want, they didn't even say hi. They were not busy at all, no other customer in there, just only us infront of them carrying baby and they were all talking and laughing. After about 15 minutes we just asked "can we get help, hope you're not busy" coz we know they are just having fun. This Guy replied "we're always busy. " in unprofessional, disrespectful and hateful tone and racist face. we're really disappointed.

Car Salon recently completed an autobody repair as a result of damage from a collision. I had previously arranged to do a refresh on my interior for some wear and tear after 10 years and a power polish of the exterior. They executed flawlessly, high quality work on all fronts. The staff is knowledgeable and communicate effectively on the status of the work being performed. The staff made thoughtful suggestions along the way, some that were financially in my favour! They treated my vehicle like it was one of their own. I have been a client at Car Salon for about eight years and my recent experience has confirmed my decision to stay them all this time. Good work and a hearty thanks to all of the people who ensured my vehicle received the best.

I have never had such a positive experience go negative so quickly. I took my vehicle in to get a car starter installed as a birthday gift from my family. At first everything seemed great, I dropped my vehicle off the night before, and received a call the next morning at 10am (appointment was booked for 9am) that the install was already completed, I was thoroughly impressed. Upon picking up my vehicle, I went to leave and noticed that my check engine light was on an a traction control error light was also on. Not a big deal right? I figured it was just a wiring thing that must have occurred when they installed it probably a quick fix. When I went back into the shop to inform them of the lights the first thing they told me was "oh, yeah those were on when the vehicle was dropped off". What. A. Joke. They then proceeded to tell me that it more than likely just came on when I dropped the vehicle off and it slipped in the parking lot (it had snowed overnight)...... right....except I dropped it off the day before....with no snow....... and honestly did they really think I would bring something like this to their attention if it was an existing problem? After taking the vehicle for a quick drive I verified that it no longer had traction control. Afterwards they took the vehicle back in and found it was indeed just a loose connection, a 5 minute fix. Bottom Line, a little customer service goes a long way, I cannot believe that the first reaction for something so simple was to try and say it was already like that upon arrival. I can not in any way shape or form ever recommend a company that would try and pin something on a customer rather than take responsibility for something that very well could easily happen with that kind of installation.

Friendly staff excellent fast service. I had a stereo and a remote starter done in my 13 f150 got the parts in fast worked with me to get the vehicle in when it was the easiest for me. They finished in the time promised and walked me through every part of the stereo and remote starter.

Called to book a detailing service, they gave me a few options. I went with the stage 2 detailing. Cat salon was very helpful to pick the right option for me. They explained everything that they were going to do. They got me into there shop right away. My F-150 came out of there shop looking brand new again. The carpet, the dash, the seats and the outside was top notch! Will definitely return and recommend to car salon.

With the cold spell my car remote starter decided it needed a new batteries. It wasn't working for me so I called and asked if I come over and will someone please change the batteries Which he did do but he did suggest changing the rubber part in the front as it was torn. This place is amazing, hands down the best customer experience I've ever had. My elderly mother had her truck towed up to North Star Ford because the power steering was broke, they charged $170 just to look at it, and told her the the entire drive train needed to be replaced at $2800. I got involved at this point and asked her to let me shop around for her. We called the Car Salon and asked them what they thought, they immediately said do not let them touch your truck, we guarantee we can do it for less, what's more they didn't agree thats what needed to be replaced. So we had the truck towed down there and the very next day they got back to us with exactly what they suspected, no it didn't need to be replaced, and not only that the entire fix was $135...$135!!!! They saved an elderly woman over $2600 for just being honest, not only that they were punctual, polite, knowledgeable, and had great customer care!. These guys are just looking to help, at an honest business, I would and will recommend them to everyone I know who needs anything related to cars. Do not hesitate, this was an amazing experience in a field that can be very hard to navigate for most people. Thanks again guys, you are amazing people!!.

Only in Calgary for a few hours and I called to ask if they could squeeze me in for a wheel alignment as I just got a leveling kit installed a few days ago. He offered me multiple options and was very knowledgeable on what tires would suit my driving habits best. A technician was able to assess my car when I arrived and let me know my brake pads were completely worn. They scheduled an appointment for me to come in within the next two days and preordered all the parts to ensure my service went smoothly. Got a quote from Steve to remove two long scratches from my vehicle I got in a parking lot. Friendly service and they explained my option and the process. They not only got rid of the scratches but buffed the rest of my vehicle to even everything out. They reduced the scratches over 90% and my vehicle came out looking brand new—shiny and beautiful. Didn’t leave swirls or any imperfections. I will definitely enlist their services again.

I have been here twice now. They did the tint on my car a few years back. This time I had an issue with my sound system (that was installed elsewhere) They were able to fix the issue in about 40 minutes and charged me $100. Would highly recommend them to anyone! The staff is friendly and very helpful!

This is by far the worst customer service I had to experience. They are rude, not professional and condescending. I am talking here about 3 out of 5 people who work there. the guy wearing glasses and the shorter guy at the counter to the right of the door where cameras and other accessories are displayed as well as the lady at the counter across from the door. Really bad experience and disrespectful people who do not in any way know how to treat customers that choose to go to them. Lots of businesses are out there that would do the same service without having to deal with such inept, unprofessional and rude people. Absolutely not recommended and definitely not worth it.
