Got my wheels powder coated in gunmetal gray. They told me it would take 2-3 weeks and I got them back in 2 weeks. I'm really happy with the way they turned out. There are some small imperfections in 2 wheels but it's not really noticeable unless you're up close and really looking. The wheels were wrapped in a plastic wrap when I picked them up and when I removed the wrap, you could see lines from where the wrap was around the wheel barrel. I'm not sure what caused it- my best guess is that it wasn't fully dried when it was wrapped. It's not that big of a deal since it'll get covered up once I put tires on it. Other than that, wheels look great and I can't wait to put them on my car for the winter.

Their work is really good lots of color options but I was asked to pick a color online from the website they order their powders from and it didn't match what the picture was showing it was totally off and after everything is done they told me I should have ordered a free swatch sample which I didn't know about in the first place was never mentioned to me So make sure you see color sample real one before you give it a go head Overal quality of work is good

To echo the many good reviews on here.... 1. Honest, straight up quotation process 2. Estimator warned me about possibly not meeting my tight deadline prior to accepting the job. 3. The price was very competitive. 4. Estimator warned me about the shortcomings of powder coating my pieces and what to expect prior to accepting the job. 5. The guys in the shop were very kind, polite and down to earth. They also had some good tips for how to build something that will powder coat well. Duly noted for next time I bring something in for them to coat.

Have been taking a number of my automotive projects to CPC for a few years now and have been completely satisfied with every job. Ive had them coat car and truck wheels, motorcycle wheels, motorcycle frames, cages and so many other misc parts. Everything has come out great, I don't have one complaint about the work here and it is one of 4 different shops that I have used in the past for my projects. I keep coming back because of the quality, the service and the fact that I don't feel like I am being ripped off compared to a couple other places in town. I'm actually going to be dropping off another big box of parts (roughly 40 pieces) to them this week so that I can get my cruiser back on the road for the summer. Ive referred friends, family, even some of my work clients and no one has had a complaint of an issue

I was a little confused when Calgary Powdercoatings gave me an estimate at less than half of other Calgary shops because I have been burned by picking the "lowest bidder" before, they say a cheap man pays twice. Well after reading reviews here I was confident that it was going to be great and after having picked up my powdercoating three weeks ago I have to say that it's perfectly done and it looks great. I am so glad I got it done and chose Calgary Powdercoatings and wanted to leave a 5 star review because it's the reviews that helped me decide in the first place. I will be back with more work for them because they have made a return customer of me for sure. Thanks for the great work and awesome price.

The customer service was decent. I was told they had done a lot of brakes before and it wouldnt be an issue to tape them off. I picked them up and they looked good but after getting the seals and boots in I started to realize there was a very inconsistent job and they didnt tape a lot of areas off. The pistons were taped off, thought in the rears I had a lot of sand I had to clean out with brake fluid and during the brake bleed. But what bothered me most was the bleeder holes, the insides were powder coated to the edge (not well, I had to thread chase them to get the bleeder valves in) but the outsides were left exposed metal. all of the pin holes and the caliper bolt were filled with powder also, this closed in the holes and made rebuilding them a nightmare. Also where the calipers mount to the car, they powder coated the matting surface, but left the surface not touching anything bare. It was like everything they taped off was the wrong side. They did offer to redo them at no cost, but being that it was a custom color I would have had to pay for that. The work was good, but the prep was pretty careless, I wish I would have known or I would have taken some times to point out what surfaces I didn't want covered.

Wish i could put no stars, i need some wheels for my car sand blasted and they cant just do sandblasting, stupid to think that they have a sandblaster and just because i am not getting my wheels powder coated they wont sand blast my wheels

Been here 2x with custom projects for my truck. 1st visit... Excellent! 2nd visit... Was charged more than agreed on, and, only after picking up the piece, discovered damage and a poor coating job. Not even worth all of the back and forth at this point... Wish they would check their work before calling it done

This is always an excellent place to go to. I deliver steel products to Calgary powder coaters to be powder coated. I find the staff for very nice and knowledgeable. I have been doing it for 3 years and have never had to return anything that has been coated. They do an excellent job.

I brought in the frame of my 28 year old Jeep YJ for media blasting and powdercoat. The frame was in fairly rough shape. I was overjoyed the the workmanship and the result. I also powdercoated a variety of other vehicle components and they all came out looking better than new. Throughout they were easy to talk to and coordinate the job with. The work was completed early and the price was fair. Side note - as he was bringing my order out, the sway bar fell and was scuffed. He refused to let me have it, insisting it need to be perfect. So he fixed it.

We started using them about 3 months ago with the company I work for. They have been excellent to deal with. The product we drop off is finished very quickly. The one time there was an issue Jim dealt with it very professionally and the repair was finished immediately. Mistakes will always happen but it's how it's dealt with that's important. I couldn't have asked for better service. They've now become the only powder coaters we deal with.

I've had two items done by this company - an aftermarket front bumper and a set of 5 wheels. the front bumper powder coating has held up and I can say the quality is superb. I dealt with an automotive shop that took care of all the details for me for this one. The set of 5 wheels I had done was a bit of a different story. They were extremely helpful in helping me choose a colour and provided me with a quote that they stuck to. I had some trouble getting a lead time from them but when they told the shop I was dealing with that it'd be 2-3 weeks, the shop managed to talk them into getting them done within 1.5 weeks, which I thought was great. It would have been nice to get that up front, however. The colour came back amazing - what I'd expect. Unfortunately, that's kind of where it ends. Because of the texture of the powdercoating, when the tires were mounted, they wouldn't hold air. Calgary Powdercoating's response was "Well...some powder coats hold air and some don't" and that was that. No attempt to help rectify the problem or anything. I had a set of 5 freshly powder coated wheels in an amazing colour that couldn't hold air. My feelings are mixed as they did a great job powder coating the product (especially my bumper!) and in a shorter than expected amount of time. Now I'm stuck with the cost of sanding down the powder coating and then getting them polished so that tires can be mounted and hold air. It's left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth as it seems like they do an outstanding job most of the time.
